A/N: Formatting on here still gives me issues so I'm just doing whatever seems to stick to keep the paragraphs and such broken apart.
Hope you like the concept so far! Noticed I have 2 favs on this ~yay~ I have fun doing this sort of thing. I corrected all the grammar mistakes I could. If I find one when re-reading this later I will be aggravated.

Somehow, he'd found himself at the Bone eater's well feeling that annoying tug of his invisible leash. He could smell that there had been a demon here recently and that girl. But while the demon's scent left he could only smell the wench's scent disappearing down the well. Yet there was no body. He debated the smartness of jumping in it for a minute, remembering vague stories about the well killing or transporting people to different places, before deciding it'd be fine since the stupid leash was still working.
/ / / / /
And that's how he found himself in an area that smelled weird, in a house that looked strange, with an older woman caressing his pointed ears for some reason, and yelling at the odd girl who seemed content to just...let countless people die due to her carelessness because she thought it wouldn't affect her here for some reason. He doesn't really know why he was arguing so hard for her to own up to her responsibility to help the innocents she'd endangered. God knows nobody ever stood up for him when he was innocent, only actively tried to kill him or encouraged the prospect of his death.
Well, that wasn't true. There'd been his mother...he's sure he only ever makes such efforts in memory of her.
Gotta be.

It took her hearing and seeing the demonic hair coming out of the well to understand she was endangering her family and finally leave to try to do something about her mess.

He couldn't believe it. His fuckin instincts had betrayed him into feeling inclined to protect that stupid wench! He blames it on her looking like Kikyo at the moment with that hair style. It may have also helped that Yura, that hair demon, had insulted him repeatedly. First by using that thrice damned fake seduction tactic women seemed to like to pull on him, as if he wasn't aware that no woman would actually want a half demon, then she was voicing confusion over why he was a full demon when it was said he was only half so perhaps he was just weak like a halfbreed, and lastly her attempts to remove his head from his shoulders! Damn bitch. Bet she regretted her choices in her final moments. Up side he'd managed to fly, not just float! He'd need to practice this ability later.

So Kaede nearly died while more of the villagers did. Not too surprising. That Yura demon had been looking for more shards to take. The old woman actually blamed him for not "doing his job" and protecting them, as if he owed them such a privilege and started making demands that he travel with the stupid weird girl, Kagome apparently, to recover the shards of the Shikon Jewel. Shocker. Put a slave collar on me and suddenly the human thinks she has some kind of control. Pathetic.
It was amusing to see her realize I'd already turned myself into a full demon though. The surprise and unhappy grimace on her face nearly made me chuckle.

My counter offer was to be set free and not carry a grudge to slaughter them all should they comply.
/ / / /
"Ye wouldn't dare-"
"Are you forgetting the men I killed when you refused to hand over the jewel as asked? Cuz that seems awfully foolish, or maybe the blood lost has gone to your head?"
"Tch. Well wouldn't ye have already killed us anyway? Oh wait! Ye can't because of the rosary, can ye?"
"Not true", he bluffed since he hadn't tested that out yet, "you may not have noticed but the reason why so many of your people are dead is because I chose not to help. I smelt that demon in the direction of your village. I ignored it because I had no reason to help. I knew that crow demon was gonna kill some villagers, hell I was even there, I didn't do nothin to make things worse but I did nothin to help either cuz the wench refused to accept my offer. And now, because of her, more people are gonna die. Not just your villagers but you likely are too as well as plenty of strangers -humans- you've never met. The girl is three times as likely to die going off on her own to find those shards. And it'll be all your fault if she does. Face it. You need me. But I don't have to do a damn thing", he reprimanded.
"Kagome could always-"
"Could always what? Try to 'sit' me into submission? She's already tried that threat. And you need to ask yourself" his tone shifted into a dark threatening rumble, "If you really want to risk my wrath".
The hut was silent for a long moment, Kagome shifted nervously and sweated fearfully at the thought of dying, Kaede tried to maintain a composed demeanor but the slump of her shoulders was just enough to indicate she felt defeated.
"Alright then Inuyasha", the old woman began as politely as she could manage, "How about a compromise? You travel with Kagome as her bodyguard and help her collect the shards of the Shikon Jewel and afterwards in return she'll lift the necklace off of ye".
"And why should I trust either of you? Take it off now or no deal", Inuyasha countered.
"Nay, it is the other way around, she needs it to stay safe from you", Kaede frowned. Inuyasha scowled, "Are you brain dead? Or do you think I'm that friggin stupid?! If you were so worried for her safety from ME you wouldn't be trying so hard to get me to be her protector! And again, if I wanted the little wench dead she'd be dead before realizing it!"
"Wait, why are you still- I am not this 'wench' you keep referring to. My name is Kagome! Ka-Go-Me! I already explained this to you when we first met!" The girl, Kagome apparently, all but screeched.
"I'll call you that when you've earned something other than my contempt", Inuyasha waved away her words like vapor.
"Wh- I freed you from that tree! The least you could do is use my name!", she insisted.
"And it was apparently you in a past life who sealed me to it"
"That doesn't count!"
"Even if it didn't, which it does, you promptly enslaved me after I saved your wretched life"
"You were killing those villagers, tried to kill me!"
"You refused to give me my payment and those fools attacked me first! Look. This is pointless. I don't like you. I don't care what your name is and soon enough no one else will after I make you into a corpse in the ground if you don't remove this thing now!" He ended with a menacing growl causing her to eep and shuffle back fearfully.
"Th-that's so rude! How about you calm down and sit before I get angry", she blustered at his form that was now implanted into the floor.
"This is what happens when ye bark incessantly Inuyasha. Surely a girl with such power over ye is worthy enough of being acknowledged with a name", the old woman had the gall to lecture.
He could feel her smugness in the air and it heightened his irritation into anger as he listened to Kaede then that worthless girl go on about how he should use her name. About how he should just do as he's told.
They weren't taking him seriously.
Clearly, they believed him to be no major threat. As if he didn't have the nerve to follow through on his warnings. Given how poorly little-old Kaede must think of him this is standard human stupidity on her part but the girl...she's probably just plain stupid. Once abled, he lifted himself up and launched himself at Kagome within the small space inside the hut to grasp at her throat before she could fully let loose a scream of fright.
"You must be severely stupid if you're willing to risk making me angry, wench! You have no real power over me. But go ahead", he kept his grip on her throat firm but loose enough that she could speak if she tried and moved his other hand to roughly jerk her body closer to his and keep her there, "try using that word again. Right now. See how well that works out for you cuz I'm willing to bet the force of it will break a feeble human bone or two of yours at the very least", he hissed at her as she obviously fought not to tremble.
"Inuyasha! Unhand-"
"Quiet you old hag. I'm talking to the girl", he barked out silencing her immediately, " Now, what you are going to do, right now, is take this shackle off before I decide to rip your arms off to do it myself", he growled after a long moment of silence into the girl's face making her flinch.
Kagome opened her mouth and closed it again fearfully, lips trembling. Then slowly, so slowly as though in fear that if she moved any faster she'd be attacked further, she lifted her hands and carefully removed the subjugation necklace. Squeezing it to hide the shake in her fingers.

Dropping the girl as soon as that deplorable collar was removed, he snatched the beaded necklace from her slack grip and moved out of her personal space as she sat surprised and dazed on the floor.
"Bout damn time! If you still want me to protect you on your journey then I'll return here after disposing of this. Don't even think of getting another one to try and bind me again. You won't like what I do in response. While I'm gone try to learn how to at least not be an easy target. If you can even manage that", he snarled before turning to storm out of the hut.
Once outside he immediately took off towards the closest location he knew of to burn the trash in his claws to ashes. He'd take no chances of someone finding it again to later use against him.

It didn't even take him a full 3 days to reach the volcano at the pace he set. Which was fast, but not his new top speed. He hadn't needed to rest either! It used to please him that he could keep up with most full demons in speed, if not out-do them, even if it was partly out of necessity. Now as a full demon himself he was all around better than when he was a mere half demon.
He decided to take his time getting back to those humans by experimenting with his flight ability. It wasn't like he was eager to be in either of those wretches' presence. But he did give his word...and the necklace is off him...even if he had to get aggressive about it...whatever. He's in a great mood.
He can at least humor them with his protection. A sort of...silent apology to the girl's past life as Kikyo. Even if the bitch didn't deserve it. 'Died by his hand', he internally scoffed, as if.

Concentrating, he managed to land gracefully from the sky in front of the old woman's hut, startling several villagers who ran off to avoid being close to him.
Well...no one screamed. So they must've been informed about him and of the deal.
.
And Sesshomaru has yet to pop up so he must be actually gone and not just suppressing his scent this time. But why would he lea-…?
Oh. Oh! He's gonna have to remember to laugh in that guy's face for accidentally making him trail his scent in circles.
.
Walking into the hut he saw the old hag but no wench, as expected, he had smelt the girl's scent over by the edge of the village with some human boy. Probably trying to start some pathetic romance, ha! Even better if they decided on the human for a guard instead of him, it'd be foolish of them but great for him.
.
"I see ye came back just as ye promised. And I have started training the girl when abled as ye had...suggested", Kaede said solemnly.
.
"Hmph. And how'd that work out?"
.
"Better than I think ye expect. She is capable of treating wounds", he interrupted her with a snort but she ignored him and continued on, "and she knows how to use a bow now thanks to the lessons she informed me she took in her own era".
He raised an eyebrow skeptically, "you let her leave? You actually trusted her to come back?"
The old woman's eye narrowed, "she is a pure, kind hearted soul who understands the gravity of the situation. I do not know nor care why ye doubt her so but the only one who's trust should be questioned is ye. For ye did kill my sister after all".
.
She was laying it on a bit thick but ok. He knew how to play this game.
"Wrong", he barked out, "I don't know what injuries you think I gave her that coulda killed her unless you think she died of heartbreak cuz I never touched her with intent to harm. Even after the bitch betrayed and attacked me out the blue. And she looked alive and well to me as I succumbed to, what I had thought, was my death at the time. As to this supposed reincarnation of hers, that girl ain't right in the head. And for being so pure and kind about the situation she sure don't act like it. Y'know she ran off to her era with the intent of never returning while Yura of the hair was killing your villagers? But I'm the one untrustworthy? Riiight", he ended with a mocking laugh.
Looking momentarily surprised, Kaede muttered something about how he must be wrong about the girl before she asked, "Ye are being honest? About not attacking my sister? She stated it was ye who wounded her so".
.
"Why would I lie? I was on my way to meet her and suddenly she's behind me, attacking with arrows. I didn't bother to fight her, just left to go grab the jewel since she decided to show her true face".
.
Her brows furrowed, "This is most concerning. The story you tell contradicts her words and brings forth more questions than the ones I already had about the ordeal".
.
"Meaning?" He asked.
.
She sighed after a moment of thought, "It matters not at the moment. I shall think on it later. But for now, ye must go to Kagome so that the two of ye can begin thy journey. She is somewhere in the village by herself, she had wanted to be alone to read".
.
He blinked, assuming she didn't know about the boy the wench was with but opted to say nothing since it wasn't his business. "Yeah, yeah. If you don't die I suppose I'll see you when we return", he replied in a bored tone as he walked out in a lazy manner to follow that girl's scent.
.
"Oi! Wench!", said wench jolted hard in surprise, "The old hag said you'd be ready to go immediately, are ya?" He demanded inquiringly as he walked up to her, eyeing the bulbous yellow...thing she had a hand on and ignoring the boy and his apparent pet monkey.
Clearing her throat she responded, "Yes, I packed all my supplies here", she patted the yellow thing, "I'm kinda surprised you're actually here Inuyasha. But this works out great! Nobunaga here was getting impatient to leave."
"And why should I care about that?"
"Because he's coming with us, of course!", she replied putting away her things into the big yellow thing.
He stares at her blankly for a moment, "Unless you already got yourself a new bodyguard, you gotta realize I never agreed to protect anyone else?"
"But I promised we'd helped! See, there's this village full of people being attacked by a demon and his love-"
"Not interested." He interrupted.
"But-bu"
"No."
"What if there's a jewel shard there?!", she tried.
"What if there isn't?"
"There's no harm in checking right?"
"If you don't mind possibly losing a limb just for a maybe", he shrugged.
"Don't be silly," she laughed nervously, " that's what I have you for, right?"
He narrowed his gaze at her, wondering how naive she could be, before snorting and turning away. "Let's just go".
.
Cheering in agreement that she'd won the 'argument' her and the human boy hastened their steps to follow him, the human male nervously giving directions to the village holding the woman he wanted to save.

Inuyasha looked at the frog demon in front of him responsible for the mess in this village. There's no way he needed this many humans for food. What a glutton. He couldn't help but wonder how weak it must've been before if one soft punch had it cowering. Or maybe he's just a coward?
The girl on the other hand...apparently knew how to use fire really well. He was almost impressed.
The dumb frog was actually trying to use some human he didn't know as a hostage...as if he cared. Killing him quickly he searched the corpse and took the shards before the damn thing could revive itself and had to usher that girl out of the village when she tried to make them stay longer to help free any of the humans that were still alive from their pods. He wasn't having it, those two other humans could stop eyeing each other long enough to uphold their responsibilities to their own village people.

Staring hostilly down at the thieving little fox demon mouthing off about having greater needs in between begging for his life to be spared in order to achieve vengeance...he was irritably reminded of himself at that age trying to bargain for his life and some of the the young demons he'd met that were so full of arrogance it'd make him want to claw their face off as a child.
Hmmmmm….he could probably find another fox demon family or even village to drop the squirt off at so that he doesn't go and get himself killed. ...Or the girl could decide to keep the child as a pet cause he's cute. That is also a plan. Sigh.
.
Siiiiiiiiiighhhhh.
.
Why'd he have to be here? He didn't feel like fighting a couple of disgusting wretches today. It's all that fox kid's fault. And the girl for not listening. Noooooo she had to follow along on her bee-ike after he freed her from the kid's illusion despite him telling her to stay away.
At least fighting the older thunder brother was more interesting than the younger and the previous toad. They even had jewel shards, which was a nice bonus for this whole ordeal the fox kid got them sucked into. Kit should've mentioned they had those from the start.
He also found out new things about his Blades of Blood attack! More good news is best news.

AN: Alright we've made it to Shippo! The thunder brother's are dead. I'm personally thinking that the 'new' things about his blades of blood attack is that he can use it differently now as a full demon. How exactly, I'm not really decided on but I'm partial to the idea that his blood acts like poisonous blades now or that they remain longer as something he can reuse to keep attacking through a type of telekinesis.
Hek'UnnSkipper, that necklace is well gone now and I have no intention of letting it come back! XD
Prepare yourselves for more changes to the canon. *evil laughter*
