Bonus Outtake 1: Meeting Koga.
Should've known the village we were heading towards wouldn't be a pretty sight after seeing that mutilated corpse of a child covered with the scent of wolves on the way there. Though really the stench of death and wolf demons was the biggest clue. Place almost looks as bad as Sango's destroyed village.
He'd had to stop the others from attacking the wolves that were feeding a couple of times, doing so wouldn't have helped anything. All the humans were already dead.
Besides, Kagome claimed to have sensed some shards so they didn't have time to waste on animals.
Ah. There's the leader. These wolves sure are hungry, more interested in eating then threatening us away. Hn. Someone probably should've warned Kagome to look away. Pretty sure this is the first time she's actually seen a demon eat some humans and I could've done without that smell leaving her throat and staining the ground.
"'Lo there, lil late to the party ain'tcha?" Inquired the male wolf demon around a mouthful of human flesh from some poor woman's thigh. Blood was smeared across his carefree and arrogant face.
"Since you're still here I'd say we made it with time to spare", Inuyasha retorted.
"Oh? And what could some lil dog possibly want with me? Don't tell me you're interested in joining my pack? Wanna play pretend at being a big wolf eh?" The other demon mocked as he leisurely continued his meal in a show of dominance. One that was clearly bothering the still green faced girl-Kagome. The other's just looked tense.
"Course not. Kagome", Inuyasha barked, startling Kagome to attention, "Get yourself together. You got a job to do. Do it".
"Eewgph-hae ulp r-right. He uh-oh god..." taking a fortifying breath she averted her gaze from the unknown demon wolf guy with a ponytail. "Shards in his legs and a-and in the arm-m hol-olding the-the", unable to finish the sentence she threw up again.
Ignoring that for the moment, Inuyasha addressed the wolf demon, "Mind handing over the shards you got? I'll be kind enough to let ya live if ya do". While he sounded intimidating it was probably ruined by the weak bellied little girl behind him.
"As if you've got what it takes to kill me!" The wolf demon laughed condescendingly, tossing down what was left of the leg he stood up gracefully to his full height. "I could take care of the likes of you without breaking a sweat", "Oh is that right?", Inuyasha interrupted sarcastically.
"Tch. I'm Koga, the new leader of the eastern wolf demon tribe and with these shikon jewel shards killing you will be nothing".
Fighting this Koga wasn't so hard. He was fast sure, but his speed was something he could've kept up with as a half demon which meant it wasn't a problem now, shard enhanced or not. The guy was kinda predictable too. Made it easy to toss him around. He just had to wait for the right moment to-THERE!
And with that the mighty wolf demon leader was short on one throat. His shock was almost funny. Not as funny as all the rest of his wolves, that Kilala hadn't dealt with, running away in fear though.
Breaking Koga's arms and a leg to decrease his chances of being able to fight him off, weak as the attempts were likely to be he'd rather not risk it, and did his best to ignore the wolf demon's rasping chokes of pain as he carved into his limbs with his sharp claws to remove the Shikon shards. Once he had them he dropped the wolf guy on the ground and stepped away, meeting the hate and fear filled gaze from those cold blue eyes. The will to live struggling to remain alight in them.
"Alright let's go." Inuyasha moved away from him before directing a curt, "Unless you sense more shards?" at Kagome who was hovering by Sango for comfort.
"Ah-yes?! I-wait I mean no! There's no more shards here! But, shouldn't we bury the dead?"
"Are you kidding? Why should we do that?" Inuyasha frowned.
"Actually Inuyasha, there are many reasons for why Kagome's suggestion is a good one-" the monk started to drone on and on as if he was gonna listen to all that blather.

Much later, only he and Sango noticed Koga or his body in any case was gone and realized that meant that help arrived for him according to the tracks and scents left.
The scrawny wolf would at least get a proper burial from his tribe, if he hadn't survived that is.
End of Outtake.

A/N: Like I said before the bonus outtakes are ideas I considered using, even had written out, but ultimately decided not to make it part of the story line. Hope you're having fun reading! I know I'm enjoying myself.
