~Hey guys~

I am so sorry for leaving this story unattended for like 6 years. But recently I was sitting bored in class so I decided to pull up this story again. Sadly I somehow lost all my rough paper drafts so I'm just writing these on the go. I hope they are fine. I am so sorry for any spelling mistakes! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this chapter! Sorry if things seem out of order, I'm still trying to remember what I had in my drafts!

Ryoma POV:

In the end Momo-Senpai caught us while refilling his water bottle from his laps. We stood there with the light grey doors partially open and 8 eyeballs looking through the slit of light. My eyes glanced back and forth. Between the two highschool boys and at the one girl that was on the court. "Hmm elbow not too bent, hips not too wide, hair still long" I listed in my head. "Not bad."

"Wah! Sakuno-Chan's getting better at tennis! Maybe she just had the wrong coach." Kikumaru-Senpai said. "OH! And Ann-Chan is playing too! Nyah, I want to join!"

"We are technically not allowed to know that they are here though." Fuji-Senpai smiled. I took a glance at Momo-Senpai who was not even hiding the fact that he was admiring that short haired girl. I could care less. Or so I thought.

"A better coach?!" I thought. "No way! I was the best. OK, maybe not the best, but I was pretty decent." I walked out of the entrance after watching for a bit.

"Hey, where are you going?" Momo-Senpai asked.

"Ponta. And training resumes in 5 minutes. You can stay here and watch your girlfriend play. I'm gonna head out and I don't want to miss practice." I stuck my left-hand in my pocket as I fidgeted with a tennis ball.

My head was spinning. Wobbly hips and clumsy did not not equal a decent tennis player at all. And yet her returns were strong and accurate. Maybe two years was enough for someone to suddenly get good at tennis.

"Still no way she can beat me though." I smirked and tossed my now empty can of grape ponta into the recycling. I took out the tennis ball in my pocket and smirked as I read the now blurry black lines encrusted on its fuzzy surface. 'Nationals No.1' it read. "She still owes me a 'No.1 Tennis player' one I thought to myself. "Receiving that would feel so go- WAIT what was I saying?" I stopped in my tracks. "No way was I thinking about Ryuzaki again." And then something finally clicked. Those guys earlier or yesterday were talking about some girls. They were talking about Ryuzaki and her friends. They were selecting them to coach. That means that today, Ryuzaki and the bob haircut girl were playing against their coaches. I felt a pang in my chest "She never wanted to play against me…" I thought. I had no clue why that thought made my chest feel so heavy and my stomach so tight.

"Eh, it must be breakfast. Western food just doesn't sit well in there." I grumbled.

"What's that about breakfast? Your chest and stomach hurting Echizen?" I heard a sadistic voice say from behind me.

"Nanimonai" I replied, tilting my cap down. I took a glance at Fuji-senpai and he just had a wide grin on his face and I swear each second you looked at him, it kept getting wider and wider. I walked faster towards the tennis courts as I heard him say his signature "saaa". Creepy I thought. "I thought he was onto me."

I got to the courts and grabbed my racquet and took a look around. No Momo-senpai or Kikamarui-Senpai. That meant they were still ogling over the girls. My girl.

"Ohoho… Hold on MY GIRL?!" What was I thinking?

"Che, it's because I didn't get a good enough sleep." I mumbled. "Momo-Senpai snores like an army of elephants going into war."

"Still thinking of Sakuno-chan, are you Ryoma?" Fuji-senpai popped out of nowhere.

"Urusai senpai, and why do you keep popping out of nowhere?" I scoffed back at the smiling man. Oh how I wanted to twist serve that face into space.

"Sa… someone is in love…" Fuji-Senpai said.

"ECHIZEN? IN LOVE?!" Momo-Senpai yelled literally falling from the sky from god knows where.

"NANI! WITH CUTE SAKUNO-CHAN?!" Kikumaru-Senpai asked or yelled as he excitedly bounced around.

"URUSAI SENPAI! YADDA! YADDA!" I replied to them in frustration. The whole court went quiet and I pulled down my cap to hide my warm cheeks.

"Koichi Koichi, Ochibi is -" and before Kikumaru-senpai could finish his sentence a small indistinctive yellow object smashed into his face.

"Oh… My hand slipped. Whoops" I shrugged as I fidgeted with my strings.

"Nyah! Ochibi That was on purpose!" Kikumaru-senpai said as he sprung up from the ground and pointed at me accusingly.

"Whoopsies." I shrugged once more. Then a loud voice called out on the speakers and practice resumed. It was just small easy drills here and there until Inui-Senpai showed up with the coach and a large black barrel on wheels followed them. That was not good news.

"Um coach? What's with the black barrel?" Kawamura-Senpai timidly asked, fingers shaking as he pointed towards the ominous object.

"Oh you mean the clear barrel? Well thanks to this fine young man. We have your motivational drinks covered for practice!" the coach replied happily.

"CLEAR?!" Everyone yelled while looking at the black liquid residing in the container. I shivered at the thought of that slush moving down my throat already made me sick to my stomach. As if conditioned, my stomach churned and I was forced to hold in my gag reflex before breakfast erupted out of me.

"It seriously can't be that bad though, right? I mean, it's probably just black food dye." I overheard a clueless soul and scoffed at their innocence. The coach then announced matches in which the loser would have to drink Inui-Senpai's concoction. The matches finished up pretty quickly for me so I headed out to buy some Ponta. I watched as countless guys ran from the courts to the washroom at a speed that none of the coaches could ever encourage them to run at. Green faces and white eyes. It wouldn't be long until the whole place looked like a graveyard full of young men reping the after effects of a drink. Who knew edible food could make something so dangerous? But I guess edible in Inui-Senpai's book is different from a normal human's definition.

I grabbed my ponta and began to head over to a grass field where I was positive I could take a small nap before dinner. Upon reaching it I ran into a tall girl with a single braid that fell over her right shoulder. She was sweating and frantically yelling into the kitchen some orders. Her brown light brown eyes flared in frustration as she continued to yell over the ruckus of the kitchen. I instinctively knew where the colour combo was from. Ryuzaki. I then somehow ended up following her to confirm if it was her. Her phone rang and she casually picked it up.

"Yo!" she said and I was shocked. No way in the name of God did Ryuzaki just answer her phone like Momo-Senpai.

"Shouldn't you be practicing Kazuya?" she teased the caller on the other line. "Kazuya? Who in the world?" I questioned. She wasn't even stuttering! I then decided to leave when she hung up and headed back into the opposite direction. She spotted me and just gave me a smile.

"What the heck? Ryuzaki?" My head hurt. I desperately needed a nap. "Did she forget about me?" I rambled in my mind. "Was that her coach? Did she have a relationship with her coach?! Absolutely not. I was her coach before him! I should be first to date he-WHAT! AM I SAYING?!" I scratched my head and closed my eyes. This was all Momo-Senpai's fault. If I had gotten a good rest my head wouldn't be like this. I walked towards the exit and ended up being greeted with lush light green grass swaying with the breeze. I then saw one of the maids talking to a player. Brown hair flowing in the wind and dark blue hair swaying alongside. It was practically a romantic scene straight out of a film. I grimaced as the girl laughed, a very familiar sound to my ears.

"Sweet! Arigato Sakuno-Chan! I'll send you some new grip tape." The guy yelled as he ran away from her. "Eh? Ryuzaki? Didn't she head back into the kitchen?" At this point my head really hurt and God, tonight I will kick Momo-Senpai out of the room. I watched as Ryuzaki was left flabbergasted by the man and she laid down onto the grass. I stood there, out of her sight as I watched her lay in between the strands of grass as each of them embraced her presence.

"Heh, I could embrace her better than that." I smirked. I then walked up to her and saw that the maid outfits was ridiculously similar to those found in Oyaji's magazines, they just covered a bit more. Her hair was sprayed out across the grass, interlocking with the background and a small smile was placed on her face. Chocolate orbs hidden under the velvet blankets of her eyelids and a serene aura erupting from her.

I then opened my mouth and said "Ne. Ryuzaki, you'll get a cold laying there." Wide chocolate orbs met with amber orbs as the wind continued to dance around them.
