As time passed by, and Percy's powers have grown beyond normal mortal comprehension. They found out he could run really fast, he had massive strength, freezing breath. His x-ray vision, and super hearing were now better, as in he no longer flipped out over it. He could fly. According to Poseidon, these were just his kryptonian powers.

His powers he got from Poseidon, however, were another matter entirely. Thanks to Poseidon calling in a favor from Hephaestus, Sally and Percy had a giant arena built underneath their house, which housed armor, modern and ancient, it held weapons, and it was god proof as well as power proof, which means no gods can flash in, nor can they sense it, and it was self repairing. Thanks to all of this, Percy can practice and strengthen his powers, without the gods getting suspicious.

His earthquake powers were powerful enough that he could cause a seven magnitude on the Richter scale. He could create a small hurricane, with wind, water, and lightning. He was able to manipulate volcanoes, not able to control fire, but he could cause or stop an eruption. Percy, was able to communicate with all equine and aquatic life. He could create and control tsunamis and monsoons, as well as manipulate snow and ice.

The young Kryptonian demigod was slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, and his parents couldn't be prouder.

Percy point of view

I watched the bus pull up to the museum, we were on a field trip to see some ancient religious relics. I noticed Ms. Dodds was glaring at me with utter loathing on her face, now me being me, I sent her a smirk and a wink, her hands twitched, as if she wanted to strangle me where I stood. With very great effort, she turned back to the front of the bus and walked out, standing by Mr. Brunner, while the students all filed out in single file. We walked into the museum, staring around at all of the Nordic, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and other religious relics. Statues of divines, stands of armors, racks of weapons, truly it would have been an impressive site, if one were a history nut, or fascinated by the ancient civilizations, it wasn't me though.

For some reason however, I found myself drawn to the statues of Poseidon and Neptune, I don't know why, but it was almost as if I was being called, somehow.

"Percy, Percy, are you alright?" I heard Mr. Brunner call, I noticed my friend Grover shaking me.

"sorry, what was that? I didn't hear you." I told Mr. Brunner, who raised an eyebrow at me, before looking at the statue that held me captivated. Had I not been paying attention to him, I would have missed the look of suspicion and worry in his eyes, before it disappeared, it was gone after a brief moment, but I saw it. My eyes narrowed, I got the feeling Mr. Brunner knew something about me, or was hiding something from me, and I was determined to find out what It was.

Mr. Brunner then pointed at the carvings he was talking about and asked me, "Mr. Jackson, perhaps you could tell us what these two carvings represent?"

I looked at them and smiled at the first, but then frowned upon the second one, "the first one is lady Rhea, the mother of the elder six Olympians, she is holding baby Hestia, and the second one is Kronos, the king of the titans, devouring his children, the gods, due to a prophecy about them overthrowing him, however, his wife, lady Rhea, tricked Kronos into eating a rock instead of their last and youngest child, Zeus, who after growing up fed Kronos a mixture of herbs, which caused him, Kronos, to vomit up the siblings of Zeus, due to them being immortals, they grew up undigested in their father's stomach, once they were all free, they waged a war with the titans, and the gods won."

Mr. Brunner looked at me, and said "very good. Now how is this relevant to real and modern life?" I thought about my answer for a moment.

I decided to answer with, "well it helps to not commit the same mistakes I guess? Kronos devoured most of his children because of something that may or may not have come to pass. His devouring of the gods, is what led to him being overthrown in this way? While fate may have intended for him to be overthrown, if he hadn't ate his children, perhaps they would have let him live, and instead the gods would have just ruled while letting the titans roam around? Instead of the imprisonment that they were subjected to? I don't really know what else to answer here, fate is set in stone after all, according to the Greeks, the three sisters of fate, are absolute, so there is no changing or falsifying destiny, that in which is predetermined cannot be altered." (1)

Mr. Brunner, after thinking on it for a moment, "full credit Mr. Jackson. On that happy note, Ms. Dodds, will you please escort the children outside? It is time for our lunch break."

I was sitting outside, a bit away from the others, beside my best friends, Grover Underwood, and Annabeth Chase (2). Grover was a short, curly haired teen, with horrible acne, and walked with crutches. Despite his 'so called disability' when it was enchilada day in the cafeteria? Watch out or you would get trampled.

Annabeth, was a pretty blonde haired girl, she had gray eyes, a California tan complexion, somehow despite living in New York. She was decently tall, and was often serious and had trouble with emotions and jokes. I got weird feelings around Annabeth as well, like there was more to her than I was seeing.

Nancy, the school bully, was stealing things from people as well as throwing stones and sticks at pigeons. As usual, Ms. Dodds wasn't seeing a thing, well if she was, she sure wasn't doing anything about it. I guess the enjoyment of it ended soon, because Nancy came over and dumped her half eaten lunch onto Grover's lap. I was already in a pissed off mood, my eyes and ears were hurting, my eyes were burning and watering, my ears were popping. I was hearing everything, it was as if all the sound in the immediate vicinity amplified by a thousand fold. My chest began to hurt, I struggled to get my breathe under control, I counted to ten, thinking about my mother, about the ocean, about my friends, finally I started to calm down, the feeling began to disperse. I hadn't noticed the water in the fountain near us, reaching up with a hand made from the water grabbing Nancy, and yanking her into it.

All around us kids started to whisper in excitement, "did you see the water? Like it grabbed her?"

"did you hear the thunder boom?"

"forget that, what about the lightning and the earthquake? How about that freak burst of wind?"

Mr. Brunner, from where he was stationed under his umbrella motorized wheelchair, and Grover exchanged a dark look, and Ms. Dodds looked rather triumphant, almost as if I had done something that she had been anticipating. The evil glare in her eyes was now bigger, and I could feel Grover next to me, shaking, with his skin now becoming sickly pale, his nose twitched. I could hear his heart rate skyrocket. His blood pumped furiously, almost as if it was trying to burst through his veins. He was terrified.

"Perseus Jackson come with me. Now." Dodds then stalked off into the, now, empty museum. With a bad feeling blooming into my stomach, I followed her into the back of the building, past all of the ancient history relics, all the while hearing her growl at every statue of a demigod we passed.

I stepped into the room, and noticed Ms. Dodds was now at the far end, I was puzzled as to how she got there so quick, as I was right behind her. Adults often told me my brain spaced out, and I lost track of time, well I won't deny the losing track of time, but spacing out? Nope, not an option.

"Perseus Jackson, for your crimes against the gods, you are hereby sentenced to death. Confess your sins, tell me where the bolt and helm are, and my lord might show mercy." the weirdest thing happened, it was like feeling reality itself shifting, as if the world had flipped upside down, and the earth became the sky and the sky became the earth.

Where Ms. Dodds was standing, now appeared some overgrown bat thing. A leathery shriveled up hag, with wings, holding a whip of fire. I knew what this was, a fury, one of Hades torturers. Surely this couldn't be real? Monsters don't exist, right? Not like I have any room to talk, I have alien godlike powers, so why can't monsters exist? The fury flew at me, determined to slice me to ribbons, I don't know what it was, but suddenly it felt as if the world was moving in slow motion, the fury was moving at a snail's pace.

My eyes burned even harsher than before, before I knew what was happening, heat was emanating from my eyes, a bright red beam shot out from each eye ball, coming into contact with the fury, burning her, but not killing her.

"what sorcery is this" she hissed. I couldn't stop it the beams continued to burn her, she snarled and flicked the whip at me, I dodged, and closed my eyes. I opened them, and thankfully the heat vision was gone, she flew at me, and brought her talons towards me, and about clawed my face to shreds.

I felt something drop itself in my pocket, reaching in I pulled out a bronze colored pen. I heard a voice call out to me, 'pull the cap off, and destroy your enemy.' having nothing to lose, I pulled the cap off and imagine to my surprise, a sword sprung.

The sword was glowing a bright gold color, with sea green writing on the side, in ancient Greek, Anaklusmos. Touching the side of the blade, it was as if I had been reunited with an old friend. Anaklusmos, or riptide, was a double edged blade, about three and half foot long, with a leather grip, and a trident pommel as well as a trident engraved on the blade. (3)

I heard a spitting sound, and seeing the shadow of the fury moving, I did the natural thing, I swung the sword, and once it connected with her neck, the fury busted apart in a violent cloud of dust.

I was alone, with a sword, a wrecked office, and some golden dust.

(1) – yes Percy is going to be somewhat smarter here, because honestly with a mother like sally, I don't think Percy would be as, dumb as he was in cannon, which imo he only acted dumb.

(2) yes Annabeth lives in new York, actually she lives with Percy and sally, which I will show later, lol

(3) I know riptide looks different here, but guess what? Its fanfiction.
