Hello everyone. BookPrincess32 here. I am sorry this is not a new chapter.
Usually, I refrain from writing Author's Notes chapters. I wanted to write this message to explain my situation, as to why it took so long for me to release the latest updates of my stories. Also, I need some opinions from the readers.
There were a couple of reasons as to why I am taking so long to get the chapters. For starters, I am technically having four jobs, and coping with them has been stressful. It has been a big source of discomfort for my mental state, which hasn't helped me get into writing.
So I am doing the stories little by little and hopefully I can get them by September.
On another note, I have a few questions that will decide the plotline of Prince of Shinobi and what I would do next.
That's right, I have an idea on how the crossover can work better and a plotline that will be include the Pokémon characters in more prominent roles. But, I think I will leave some elements up to you.
1. In Prince of Shinobi, should the PAL Elite lineup start with Pakura, Phillip, Akeno and Jude? Or do you want to see a different starting lineup, Shiki, Pakura, Phillip and Jude, with Shiki as Elite Leader and Ash's beginning righthand man? Maybe…we could even have Pakura, Shiki, Phillip and Jude, with Pakura as Leader.
A) I want the original lineup, please. You said Pakura will be Ash's righthand woman, and it should remain like this from the start.
B) I want to see the different lineup. It'll be interesting to see how it can change things and how Pakura eventually becomes the righthand woman.
C) I want to see the different lineup. However, Pakura should be Ash's righthand woman from the start. It'll be interesting to see how she got that position.
2. As suggested by a reader, I have considered a darker backstory for Ash himself (pertaining to his childhood). What I can say is, Ash has a connection to a powerful antagonist.
Possibly, Ash may even have a hypothetical older brother he may or may not have a good relationship with. An older brother he had not seen since he was four years old without any letter, note or visit.
Do you want me to implement it?
A) Yes, please! I would love to see how Ash will turn out as a character with this dark past. It would be interesting to see how Ash moves on from his broken family issues and develop on his strained relationship with this hypothetical older brother.
B) Yes please! However, I would prefer that Ash has a good relationship with his older brother or at least recently connected with him again. Someone has to be his support.
C) Yes please! However, I think Ash should not have an older brother.
D) No thanks. I think a normal backstory in canon would do.
3. Do you want a One-Shot Collection/Short Stories on things that could have been for all the stories? You can even send prompts and requests based on it. Just let me known which story it belongs to.
A) Yes, please! I would love to see spin-offs/things that could be for all the Pokémon/Pokémon related stories. Even the crossovers.
B) No thanks. I would just want to see updates on the other stories.
