I do not own Re:Zero or its characters.

A/N: I apologize for the delay, but this chapter is far longer that I thought it would be, so I decided to split it into two parts.

"Ahhh. Nothing like a Nightly breeze to cool you down, eh Ella?" Subaru ask, basking in the cool night air as he and his lover stood atop the restaurant's balcony.

"Yes, it's quite refreshing, my Beloved." Satella answered, relaxing herself after a long dinner and perfect night.

Today was a special day for Subaru and Satella. Today was their Anniversary, the day they started their relationship 3 years ago.

Right now, the couple had just finished eating from the best restaurant Lugunica had to offer, and being the Great Sage, Subaru had the entire top floor to himself and Satella.

Subaru wanted to properly celebrate their 3 year anniversary, and took Satella to the best restaurant he could find. The waiters were very nice, even to Satella despite her being a Half-Elf. Although, Subaru could see some of the Female waiters giving him rather odds looks, and Satella didn't like that other women were eyeing her Beloved, especially on their anniversary. Subaru however, paid them no mind and only gave his full attention to Satella.

Subaru was in a Tuxedo that Reid and Minerva helped him prepare, while Satella was in a Black, sleeveless dress with purple Minya crystals she created.

The day had been perfect so far, and Subaru wanted to keep it that way. He turned to look at his lover, who might as well have been a Goddess for her beauty alone, and she was all his.

"To think it's been over 3 years since I came here." Subaru shook his head at the absurdity, that he was suddenly pulled into another world, full of Magic, Divine Protections, Authorities and so much more. Not only that, but he was dating the most beautiful Woman in the world, and they loved each other unconditionally.

"Indeed, You have done so much in such a short time. You became the Warlock of Envy, the Great Sage, you made a home for the Witches, and you became the hero you wanted to be." Satella couldn't help but be in awe of the accomplishments her beloved had done in only 3 years.

"True, but out of all my accomplishments, I think freeing you was my greatest one." Subaru said with a reminiscent smile. The day he came to this world and met Satella.

Satella's face turned red as he said that. He never failed to make her blush.

"It feels like yesterday that it happened. The day my life changed forever..." Subaru said as he was reminded of that day. The day where everything changed...

3 Years and 2 months ago.

"Ah, so this is where they suck you in..." Subaru said, reading a generic Isekai manga. They have been getting a little bland lately. A few of them had unique gimmicks and twists to them, the others Subaru had read have been kinda... meh...

He put the Manga back, and went to pay for his groceries. He wanted to get back home before it was too late, he didn't want to worry his Mom and Dad.

Subaru went to check out, and once he did, he headed out of the Mini-market and was ready to go home.

That was, until Subaru started feeling a little dizzy. He vision started to get cloudy. He knew he shouldn't have stayed up late playing video games.

Subaru, getting a little irritated, rubbed both his eyes, and once he opened them...

... It was daytime?

Subaru's eyes widened as he realized it was not nighttime anymore, and instead of the town he lived in, he was in a grassy Field.

"What the hell?..." Subaru looked around. In every direction, there was no buildings in sight, no man-made structure of any kind.

"W-where am I?! How did I get here?!" Subaru panicked, unable to process the situation. Did something happen to him? Was he dreaming? Oh, Kenichi said not to stay up too late, but did Subaru listen? Nope.

"Wait, if I'm in a field all of a sudden... and there's nothing else around..." Subaru came to a conclusion that was the only logical explanation...

"AM I DEAD?!?!" Subaru shouted at the top of his lungs, panicking at his assumed Deceased status.

"Oh God! What am I gonna do?! Mom and Dad are gonna find out that their Boy got hit by a Car! Oh God, It's gonna destroy them once they find out I'm dead!" Subaru screamed and shouted, as he couldn't help himself at the moment. After all, in Subaru's mind, he had just died! He had nothing anymore, except his clothes and the groceries he just bought!

... Wait a minute...

Subaru stopped panicking for a moment, as he realized that not only did he still have his clothes and Tracksuit, but he still had the Groceries he bought as well.

But... you don't take groceries with you when you die... do you?

"Wait, if I still have the groceries I bought... then why would it come with me to the afterlife?..." Subaru couldn't help but wonder, as he started to calm down from his outburst.

'Could... could it be? Am I still alive?' Subaru thought to himself, And decided to test his theory.

If Subaru truly was dead, then he shouldn't feel any pain. Subaru raised his right hand to him mouth, and bit it.

"OWW!!!" Subaru shouted as the pain entered his system.

"Alright... I think I'm still alive." Subaru concluded that he wasn't dead. Well, if he wasn't dead, then how did he get from the city during nighttime, to a sunny field in the middle of nowhere?...

... No... it couldn't be... but it was the only other explanation...

"Did I... could I have been..." Subaru couldn't believe what he was about to say, but it was the only thing he could think of...

"HAVE I BEEN SUMMONED TO ANOTHER WORLD!?!?" Subaru shouted once again, but this time in pure shock, rather than horror or pain.

No. This can't be real. Had Subaru really been Isekai'd to another world? And out of all of everything, why Him?

"Alright Subaru, deep breaths. Deep breaths..." Subaru tried to compose himself, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

Ok, if he's been summoned to another world, then Magic must be here. 'Cause summoning usually requires magic, but why summon him to the middle of nowhere? Why not a castle or something with a Goddess or cute Girl here to tell he was here for a grand purpose?

"Alright, first things first, I need to meet the locals, that way I get some information and maybe find the cute Girl that summoned me!" Subaru decided on his first course of action.

"Now, which way should I go? I mean, it's not like I have many options..." Subaru looked around once again, hoping to see anything that might be a good place to start looking.

"Hmm?" Subaru hummed as he saw something in the distance. It looked like some trees. Maybe there will be a forest Village there!

"Alrighty then Forest village, here comes Natsuki Subaru!" The shut-in NEET proclaimed as he started making his way to the forest in the distance.

15 minutes later.

"Wow, this Forest looks a lot bigger than I thought it would be." Subaru commented as he almost made it to the edge of the forest.

"Alright, hopefully I can find a village here to help me get some directions, or I just came over here for nothing..." Although he didn't show it, Subaru was rather nervous. He didn't know if there would be a village here, and if there was one, he didn't know if there were friendly or not. One wrong move and... well, it could get really ugly for him...

"C'mon Subaru, you've got a second chance to start over here, no way in hell your gonna waste it!" Subaru reaffirmed his decision. He must keep moving forward.

"Alright, Here we-" was all Subaru got out before a voice came from behind him.

"Umm, Excuse me?" A soft, feminine voice came from behind Subaru and startled him.

"AHH!" The shut-in yelped in surprise as he thought alone.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you!" The woman behind Subaru apologized for suddenly speaking up and scaring him.

"Oh no, it's ok miss. I just thought I was a... lone..." Subaru turned around to assure the lady he was ok, but what he was met with stopped him dead in his tracks.

The woman looked about his age, if a bit older. She had long silver hair reaching down to her waist, and Her eyes were a beautiful amethyst and blue. Subaru noticed that he ears were pointed, indicating that she was an Elf. she wore a black and purple dress that only brought out her beauty even more. She was holding a basket full of different types of flowers.

In Subaru's mind, he had just met a angel.

"Um... Sir? Are you ok?" The Elf asked, a bit concerned that Subaru went silent after seeing her.

Hearing the question, Subaru quickly shook his head and snapped out of his trance.

"Right! Sorry about that, I just wasn't expecting to meet such a beautiful Angel today." Subaru commented with a smile, which actually caused the Elf to blush at his compliment.

"I... umm... thank you..." The Elf replied, still blushing from being called a beautiful angel.

Subaru honestly didn't think he had the balls to shamelessly compliment this angel on her beauty, but he still did it. That also made him realize something.

"Oh right, where are my manners? I'm Natsuki Subaru, not only am I lost, but I'm clueless and broke beyond compare, Nice to meet you!" Subaru greeted with a smile and striking a pose his dad would do sometimes.

Subaru's goofy introduction caused the Elf to giggle, something that Subaru found even more entrancing.

"For you to say that so boldly, you must really be clueless." The Elf commented before she also introduction herself.

"My name is Satella. Just Satella, I don't have a last name." The Elf now named Satella introduced herself.

Satella. Subaru couldn't help but think over that name. Not only was it a beautiful name, but it was also very similar to Stella, the Latin word for Star. Subaru had possessed a fascination for Stars when his Parents told him he was named after a constellation.

Subaru already knew that this... Goddess was so far out of his league, but he'd be damned if he didn't try.

"Satella huh? That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Sounds right to me." Subaru complimented Satella once again, causing her to blush even harder than before.

"I... um... thank you for your kind words..." Satella thanked Subaru rather nervously, which made Subaru think that Satella was not used to being praised like this.

"Anyways Satella, I was hoping if you could tell me where I am?" Subaru asked, which caused Satella to snap out of her blushing state.

"Oh right, you did say you were lost. Well, your right outside Elior Forest. It's where my home village is." Satella answered.

"Elior Forest, eh..." That was the name of the forest, but he didn't know anything about continents, countries, or nations.

"So, Subaru what brings you here?" Satella asked, curious of why he was here.

"Well, if I'm being completely honest, I'm not from around here. I was buying some groceries and was about to head home, but the next thing I know, I'm out in the middle of that field." Subaru answered, being honest while keeping the knowledge of him possibly being from another world to himself. He didn't know if Satella would believe him if he did say it, so he would keep it to himself until the time was right.

"Huh? You just appeared in the field like that?" Satella asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"Yeah, I have no idea how I got here, so I'm kinda looking for directions." Subaru said, scratching his head.

Satella put her hand on her chin, as if she was think over something.

"Well, my Aunt Fortuna might be able to help you." Satella suggested.

"Sure. That will be great." Subaru was happy to agree, hoping to spend some time with his new friend.

And maybe he can get the balls to ask her out.

"Just follow me. I'll take you to Aunt Fortuna and hopefully we can find you a place to stay." Satella passed by Subaru and began to walk into the forest, with Subaru following close behind.

This looked to be the start of a great friendship, and maybe something much more.
