Hi, I'm Scorpion22 and I live in Pueblo Colorado. I started this account as a high school freshman and now I have graduated college, and am in the midst of applying to grad school, so that should tell you how far I've come. I have a multitude of interests such as reading, watching TV, but mainly I enjoy writing. It, as all my stories should tell you, is my main activity. Let me tell you a little about me.

Favorite Authors

Margaret Mitchell: For those of you who don't know she wrote Gone with the Wind. The book was always one of my favorites, but then I happened to watch a documentary on her life. Her story really inspired me because I have always wanted to be a writer, but my family always told me it wasn't a realistic idea. So, I tried doing other things, but then I learned about her life. I saw how everyone told her that she shouldn't try to publish her book because she couldn't do it. Because it would never happen, but she did it anyway. And now her book is one of the most beloved books ever written. Her story really inspired me.

F Scott Fitzgerald:

I have always loved his writing because of how he wrote everything. He wrote about the time in which he lived. He wrote about a generation that is lost now, but that we can picture because he wrote about it. That could be why his stories have survived.

Henry James

From the moment I had to read Daisy Miller in college I have fallen in love with his work. He write with such fluidity and there a personal touch in every word. I love it.

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley

In my mind, no female writer accomplished as much as her in such a short time. She may have only written very little, but unlike some writers, she hasn't disappeared from existence. She remains always relevant and I find that amazing especially considering all the time that's passed since she walked among us.

Favorite Movies

Christine: Based on the Stephen King novel. It is a great wickedly awesome flick that I like because it is for me one of the few movies that no matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old. Plus that car is so cool I wish I owned it minus the demonic part that is.

Jaws: First of all, yes, I know, you can tell the shark is fake, but still I love this movie. It is yet another that never gets old.

Dracula: I love horror movies and this just because of the character alone could very well be considered the first horror movie. Though I prefer Gary Oldman to Bela Lugosi, I think Dracula played by anyone is awesome.
