Hailey and Jay's partnership is nothing short of beautiful. Their bond is strong from early on and there may be more to it than meets the eye. What happens after Upstead kiss in the bar in 8x03... that's it, that's the plot... most awesome synopsis I've ever had the pleasure of writing!

How does one move on? It's an age old question. Especially after a devastating blow. Hurt dissipates with time, but it's always somewhere just under the surface. Can Jay be pulled through his when the one person who used to help him no longer can? Hailey had been his bright hope once... is it even still possible now? (Vague synopsis due to spoilers.)

Hailey has one heck of a proposition for Jay, something that may change everything, but might be just what they need. Afterall, partners and friends help each other with everything, right?

Sometimes your paths keep crossing with the people you're destined to end up. Jay and Hailey would be great partners in any life, there's no doubt about that, but what if there was something underlying to it before they became them? An incredibly weird and crazy arrest on Valentine's Day allows Jay and Hailey to have some interesting topics to discuss once it's over. Just a lighthearted one-shot in typical Upstead fare.

What would happen if Hailey heard out Voight's advice in 7x12, but not in the exact way that it was intended? What would she do when she finds herself outside of Jay's door late at night? Maybe this was the catalyst they needed.

This takes place right after 7x11, shortly after Jay returns to desk duty after being shot. There's a lot of words left unspoken between Hailey and Jay since he left the hospital. Maybe surprising news from Kim will spark a discussion of the past that marks a talk for their future. Upstead-based as usual.

What happens to Jay immediately after the events of 7x09's "Absolution?" Will he survive? Will he find his way back to Hailey? And how would it happen? We could all use a little believing...

What happens if Jay ended up spending the night at Hailey's way back when they first started "their thing" in 5x18? What would transpire from it? Would they end up admitting their feelings sooner, or will they continue to dance around each other for another year? It definitely would be interesting.

Jay is perfectly content spending Christmas alone after the tumultuous year and few months he's had. Did he honestly think Hailey would let him though? Would the tension between them become even more palpable if he spent the holidays with the Uptons? Maybe it's just the push they need…

Jay gets injured during an undercover case that's gone horribly wrong. Hailey and him are no longer on the best of terms, but can they put their differences aside to get through this together? Or will they get what they deserve for how things turned out?

What happens if Hailey goes back to see Jay after Adam called that time at the bar & he pushed her to go? What happens if Jay confronts Hailey after the time she told him she'd follow him blind? Tensions are palpable for sure! A little "What-If" Upstead story taking place during the middle of Season 6.

It's been a month since everything fell apart and the Unit got disbanded. Just when Hailey & Jay think things are normalizing again and they're finally ready to admit they'd like to take the next step in their relationship, the rug gets pulled from under them. The aftermath of a sniper case leaves Hailey analyzing her complicated feelings for both Jay and Adam. And leaves Jay evaluating the situation that they're all in together, whether they like it or not. Will a conclusion finally arise? Slow-burn Upstead

Jay and Hailey get sent undercover at a ritzy nightclub. When Jay makes a decision to avoid being recognized, it'll affect and change his and Hailey's relationship drastically. Are either of them ready for it? Another little ficlet about Upstead, of course!

A close informant from Jay's past resurfaces as a suspect and really throws Jay's emotions into a loop. Hailey tries to be there for him like she always is, but he's not having it this time. When they both realize why, it'll change the whole course of their relationship. #Upstead orientated, of course.

Jay and Hailey get stuck en route to meeting a CI... will this dire situation tear them apart, or will it finally give them the push they need to get closer together?.. Another fully Upstead story, with a couple of cameos thrown in.

Jay asks Hailey to come with him to Will & Natalie's wedding, as friends... or are they? Just a little more Upstead to help get you through.

Jay and Hailey get sent on an undercover mission to a lake house a few days before Christmas. Will they make it back in time to see their families for the holidays? Will they even want to? An ode to Hallmark Christmas movies...

Something tragic happens to Hailey and Jay is distraught over it. Will these two finally wake up and realize their feelings run deeper than a simple partnership? Totally Upstead!

There are little to no Upstead stories that exist, so I thought it was time to rectify that, especially now. This story is about what happens when Jay finds out that Hailey and Adam have been sleeping together. Tensions are extremely high.
