![]() Author has written 29 stories for Log Horizon/ログ・ホライズン, Pokémon, Naruto, RWBY, Magic: The Gathering, Accel World/アクセル・ワールド, Harry Potter, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, One Piece, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Elder Scroll series. It has legitimately been years since I last updated my profile, so this has been a long time coming. However, I am very busy with real-life (ie. school) at the moment so don't expect anything spectacular. Once I've dragged my ass out of the metaphorical fire, I'll get to updating the 'My Stories' section of my profile. A Little Bit About Me: As of mid-late January, 2018, I will be twenty years old. I'm the least dude-like dude you'll ever meet, in the sense that I've got the casual dude-body and the surfer-dude hair, but the personality of a particularly frightened tortoise. Meaning I live almost exclusively in my room. I've got the most Italian name you'll ever hear, but I won't tell you what it is so good luck trying to figure it out! I'm a little on the tall end of the spectrum, at 5'11, but I've got the wonkiest body proportions. I'm like J. R. R. Tolkien's wet dream: I've got the feet of a hobbit, the legs of a dwarf, the torso of an elf, and the head of a man. Like, if Frodo, Gimli and Legolas had a child and then you slapped the head of Aragorn's uglier twin brother on top, you'd have me. Hey-hey, good segue! Maybe you've noticed, maybe you haven't: I've become a little more self-depricating as time goes on. Fun stuff, I assure you. In all seriousness, I think it makes me a bit of a better writer because, in the end, I'm more critical about the way I write. My characters have become a little more human, a little more relatable, and my plot ideas have become more complex. So there's that. I write not only because I enjoy writing, but because writing is my end-goal. I think that made more sense in my head. Whatever. What I'm saying is: I want to be an author. I want to be published. I want to write the next big hit, the next big fantasy world that brings people together from all over the world. That's my goal, has been since I was twelve years old, and all this time I've kept working towards it. Is it crazy? Yeah, probably. Could I make life easier for myself by doing something else? Absolutely. Do I care? Not an ounce. To quote Yoda: There is no try. I'm going to do it. It's going to happen. If there is one thing I've learned in my life, from books, from movies, tv shows and anime; it's that conviction is everything. Now... I just need to start applying that philosophy. Okay. I think that's good enough for now. I need to get back to my homework. I've got an eight-page paper due tonight, and I haven't done nearly enough work on it. Until next time! - The Chthonic Professor My Stories: F.A.M.E: Update (May 21st, 2014): I'm so sorry, oh faithful readers! It has been far too long since my last update, but I'm not quite done with Chapter 4 yet! I should have it up by early June, but if not, then I'm sorry, life (read: final exams) got in the way. Update (May 22nd, 2014): I just realized that I forgot to clarify something. I only have 2 chapters (actual chapters, that is) up at the moment, so stating that I'm almost done with Chapter 4 didn't make sense. But I meant what I said. Chapter 3 is done, Chapter 4 is almost done; I simply plan on having a double update. This is just to clarify for any who were confused. Basic Summary: This is an AU Pokémon story, in which I have created the World-famous International School of F.A.M.E, the greatest school for children aspiring to make a living in any area that deals with Pokémon. It is an OC submission story, where my readers (ie. You) send me specifics explaining a character they have created, and I see if I can fit them into the story-line I have devised. David, Violet and Sora are all first-years in FAME's Battle Program, and all three are enthusiastic and anticipating their first day of class. They meet cool new teachers, make more friends, and begin to learn things about themselves they'd never known before. Life is great for the trio, and all of their new friends; until they find it's mandatory for them to join a club at the school. So what are they going to do when there are no clubs that catch their eye? Why, make one of their own, of course! Update (June 7, 2014) This is the Introduction to FAME, which I had to remove from the actual story because it's 'Not an actual chapter'. So, if you wish to submit an OC to my story, send 'em my way through a PM, because, apparently, I'm not allowed to have them submitted through review either. F.A.M.E. By King Full Summary: Welcome, student, to FAME, the Frontier Academy for the Gifted. We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as one of the prestigious few to join our world-renown teaching facility, and we hope to see you here, settled in and ready to learn at the beginning of the next Fall Semester! Good luck in your studies, and may FAME's reputation follow you wherever you go! Introduction – The Cast Welcome, reader, to FAME. This story that I am writing was inspired by one that I myself read not long ago, and in turn, I wish to challenge myself with this unique story concept. For this story to work, I am going to ask you to submit a character of your own creation by sending me a PM, to join the student body of FAME, and make a name for themselves in the Pokémon Universe. The campus of FAME is situated on what was previously just a hunk of rock sitting a few miles south of Pacifidlog Town in the Hoenn region. Sometimes, when the sky is clear early in the morning, students can see the Sky Tower off in the north-eastern horizon. When arriving at FAME, the first thing that the new students take in is the multitude of buildings and facilities scattered around Noland Campus. Without a doubt, the first structure to attract their attention is the Fame Coliseum standing tall, at the very center of the perfectly circular campus. Many have made the remark while flying overhead that the Coliseum's position in the center of the campus creates a breathtaking effect. Noland Campus resembles a Pokéball, something that the Academy's creator and headmaster, Frontier Brain Noland, fully intended it to be. The Campus is split in half, with a Northside and Southside, by Ray Boulevard heading away from the Coliseum on the West side and Oxy Boulevard heading away from the Coliseum on the East side. On the most southern end of the campus is Fortree Airport, where all of the new students arrive to begin their time at the Academy. From there, the entire southern hemisphere is comprised of a multitude of buildings. On the West side, the main school houses and the laboratories can be found, making up Block A of the campus. Block B, the East side of the southern hemisphere, is filled with facilities, the most-frequented being the Aquarium, where breeders, coordinators and trainers alike can give their water-type Pokémon a home outside of their Pokéballs. Block C, the West side of the northern hemisphere of the campus, is an open area of training fields, forest and a beach lining the outside of the Block. Block D, also known by its inhabitants as 'Little Hills', is where the students live in rows upon rows of small one-floor houses on the East side of the northern hemisphere. Though FAME's standard acceptance age is 15, they have been known to occasionally accept younger students with exceptional talent, the youngest having been only thirteen years old when they were accepted into the prestigious school. Once accepted, the students will go through a varying amount of years in schooling, depending on the program that they have decided to take. FAME offers five main programs for its students, as well as a multitude of minor ones for students who did not make the cut, but still wished to pursue an education at FAME. The main five programs include: Military Program – For those who want to uphold law and order, they will endure an intensive, fast-paced four year program similar military camp, where they will be molded into fine young soldiers, ready to serve as officers in the ICUP (International Corporation of United Police) after five years of harsh training and studies. Those who join the Military Program are only allowed to bring two Pokémon with them as partners for the duration of their education. Breeding Program – Where students will learn how to properly take care of the many different kinds of Pokémon, not by species, but by their egg group. They will also learn how to differentiate Pokémon by their egg group, how to teach young Pokémon moves learned only through breeding, how to cook foods of all kinds to satisfy the different tastes Pokémon enjoy, and how to take care of multiple Pokémon all at once. Those taking the Breeding Program will receive their single Pokémon partner only in their third of seven years of schooling. Battle Program – This program is the most difficult to enter of all of FAME's programs, and is said to be the most intensive. Here, the students are taught how to become Leaders and Champions, not simple trainers. Battle tactics, type match-ups, weaknesses, double, triple, rotation and sky battling, terrain advantage, counter-shields, all of this is only the tip of the iceberg when concerning the kind of intensive schooling those in the Battle Program endure. The Battle Program lasts five years. The most notable of the Battle Programs graduates is the Sinnoh Pokémon League Champion, Cynthia. Students in the Battle Program are encouraged to bring a full team of Pokémon. Performance Program – In this program, students learn all about the importance of fashion and style when combined with the attributes of a Pokémon. Here, students learn the complex art of Coordinating, where they are taught how to combine attacks, how to move properly across a stage, how to impress an audience, and learn to develop their own unique style of coordinating. This program is the shortest of them all, lasting only four years before the students are eligible to graduate. Those in the Performance Program are allowed two partners at FAME. Research Program – Contradictory to what you may think, this program is the one with the single most field work of them all. Here, students learn how to discover a Pokémon's mannerisms, general body shape, size, weight, and even egg group, simply by the tracks it leaves in the ground. These are the people who become world-renowned researchers and Pokémon professors, their most notable graduates being Professor Juniper and Professor Sycamore. The research program is the longest of them, spanning eight years of hard studies. Students in the Research Program are given explicit instruction not to bring a Pokémon with them to the campus. FAME's minor programs include: Media – 3 years Marketing – 3 years Visual Arts – 2 years Music – 2 years Literature – 3 years Linguistics – 4 years Ancient Runes and Markings – 5 years Ancient History – 4 years History on the Warring Period – 3 years Ancient Architecture – 5 years Archeology: Fossilized (Study of fossils) – 4 years Ornithology: Soaring Wings (Study of birds/bird Pokémon) – 3 years Arvenology: Might of the Dragons (Study of Dragons) – 5 years Mythology: Legend or Myth? (Study of Legendary Pokémon) – 5 years *This is an example of an OC submission form* Layout (you can copy-paste this into the review box) Name: Age: Gender: Preferred Gender: Program: Year: Appearance: Personality: Backstory: Hometown/Nationality: Pokémon: My Example OC Name: A 'Nickname' Example Age: 15 Gender: Male Preferred Gender: Either Program: Military Year: First Appearance: Buzz-cut brown hair, brown eyes, beefy muscular build, likes to wear black-tinted aviators, wears a white sleeveless muscle shirt, black cargo short and brown combat boots, has a specialized Pokémon belt around his waist. Has a bad smoking habit, and likes to puff smoke in people's faces. Has a heavy Celadonian accent (meaning he kinda talks like meowth a little, like 'ey you, wha's yer problem, huh?') Backstory: Part of a street gang in Celadon. Got into a fight with the wrong people and was saved by police. He wants to be like them. Only got accepted into FAME because of his stature. Please indicate your character's 'main' Pokémon first; this is the one that will be seen most often in the story. Thank you, reader, for choosing to join Frontier Academy for the Gifted. Kings of the North: Update (May 21st, 2014): This story is on a temporary Hiatus as I attempt to revamp the first couple of chapters (even the one's I haven't posted yet), so that the beginning of the story is less cluttered and makes more sense. This may not receive any updates for a while, however, as my focus has turned to FAME. Basic Summary: Enzo, a Canadian boy of Italian descent, is sent to a private school in Japan by his parents when he turns eleven, due to his aptitude for technology of almost genius levels. Separated from his friends, the only way to keep in contact with them is through a video game called Elder Tale that they used to play together. For his sixteenth birthday, his friends surprise him by pooling some money together and coming over to where he lives to play on the Japanese server with him! It's the greatest birthday ever!... until the lot of them get sucked into the video game, and are stuck as their characters! What are they gonna do now? They're going to take this world by storm, that's what! Minimum Pokémon: Update (May 21st, 2014): When I first began writing this, I was absolutely enamored with the idea. It was unique, and something I could enjoy writing. There was only one problem: I wrote the beginning without planning anything afterwards. So, whilst I plan the rest of this story's plot, it will be put on a temporary Hiatus. Basic Summary: An AU Pokémon/Naruto crossover, where the Naruto characters are part of the Pokémon World. The world has changed in such a way that Pokémon are no longer the only ones with supernatural powers: Humans can use attacks just like Pokémon can due to a new mutation in some of their genes. This new gene, sometimes called little miracles, sometimes called the Minimum, is what has changed the world to what it is today. Those with the Minimum are the only ones to train a Pokémon nowadays, and they each only train with a single partner. Battles are the two of them fighting against another Trainer/Pokémon duo until the both of them are removed from the battle. Sasuke, the second male child of the Uchiha Clan Head, Sakura, his fiancée by both marriage contract and love, and their best friend, a ninja orphan named Naruto, set off with their partners to carve their own legacies into the throes of time. Honorary Member of The Book of Log. If you worship the holyness that is the Log, copy and paste this section onto your profile. Possible Book of Log Positons: Log Worshipper: Beginning position. No requirements Log Priest: You have created at least 1 Naruto related fanfic that frequently (every 2-4 chapers) praises the Almighty Log and actually fits into the story Log Pope (there can be more than 1 pope... its safer that way): you have created 3 naruto related fanfics that frequently praise the Almighty Log OR the Fanfic that already occasionally praises the Log has at least 400 reviews OR you create a (decently made) Naruto fanfic focused on praising the Log... Log forbid. Excerpt of the log number 124: When using the Log to escape a fire jutsu, it is Konoha custom to write an apology letter to the Log, and depending on rank of jutsu escaped from depicts how many words are needed. C-rank, two thousand, B-rank, one thousand five hundred, A-rank, one thousand. Only S-rank and higher or excused from the writing of the letter. Even then, it is still reccommended. Log excerpt number 231: If Konoha Shinobi celebrate the holiday of Christmas, then it is required that they put gifts under the Christmas Log. Use of a full tree is an insult to the Log and if found out that shinobi is uneligible from using the Log for a period of two months. Log excerpt number 437: Use of the Log in a situation that clearly could be avoided using a variety of other methods or techniques is looked down upon. In order to repent for such actions, the following steps should be taken: For every dent caused by your replacement you shall plant one sapling. For every stab wound caused by your replacement you shall plant five saplings. For every hole in the log caused by your replacement you shall plant ten saplings. For every detached piece of the Log caused by your replacement you shall plant one sapling per square inch of detached Log. For a destroyed and unusable Log caused by your replacement you shall plant twenty-five saplings. If your Log is defective you may call 1-800-BAD-LOGS to file a complaint. If your case is proven correctly your next replacement will be half off. '...and the Willow sayeth unto the Ninja: Wherefore dost I weep? 'Tis tears of joy, as thy kin and mine together fell thine foes, who would bring the axe and torch to the wood. The Log ist thine ally, and mine kin. Calling upon the Log, is to call upon me. To aid thee in battle, I weep my tear of joy. And the ninja spoke: Yea, thee and thine kin shall forever be blessed among me and mine kin. For thine bravery will never be forgotten.' -Book of the Log, Song of the Willow, verses 1-4 'As the log takes your place, you become the Log. The Log becomes you. For a moment, you are an extension of the Log's blessing unto ninja.' -Book of the Log, Chronicle of the Replacement, verse 3 'You are fools! Your Log is but a mockery of the power of ninja!' The ninja from the desert declared, and the people shook their heads. You have been denied the log for a long time, Sandwalker. We cannot force you to see the glory of the Log, but know this. When the time comes, and you have no other allies to call upon, the Log will hear your prayers, and aid you.' -Book of the Log, Redwood Journals, verses 15-16 'And as the smoke cleared, his foe stared in awe at the Log. Blackened and charred, the Log crumbled. The ninja, filled with righteous wrath, fell upon his foe and slew him. He made his way to the Log, and wept. His companion, the Log that had accompanied him through so many battles, was no more. He spoke thus to his fallen companion: 'Though now you have fallen in battle, you rest where the Logs forever grow. The forest of life called for you, and you answered its call, as you did mine. I thank you my friend.' -Book of the Log, Honour of the Forest Canticle I, verses 78-82 'He despaired, for in this place of stone and earth, there was no Logs to be found. Reaching out with all his might, he begged for a Log in the forsaken wasteland, and he was answered, and saved by the log, in a place where there were none. -Book of the Log, Wanderers Saga, verses 7-9 'The Log took his place and fell, forever into the abyss. The people, hearing of this, rallied against him, in such numbers he swore to never endanger another Log again. For many years, he fought without the Log, growing more and more weary with each passing day. Finally, he came across a foe that was too strong for him. As his life was about to end, he felt a familiar pull, and found himself out of harm's way, seeing a Log in his place. His stunned foe was felled in his stupor, and he approached the Log, he knew it, for it was the same that fell so long ago. He asked of the Log: 'Why do you endanger yourself for me again? Have you not done enough for me?' And the Log spoke: 'It is my duty, and our bond. We exist to save the ninja, and they exist to save the trees. We both play a part, for which I am content.' -Book of the Log, Honour of the Forest Canticle II, verses 59-70 Let it be known that it is absolutely forbidden to willingly perform the technique known as "1000 years of death" on a Log. It is also equally frowned upon for one to replace oneself with a Holy Log for the purpose of avoiding said technique. The punishment for such actions is at least 6 months of banishment from the use of the Holy Log. ONE THING I WANT OUT OF : I need someone to make an absolute bomb of a Kiznaiver x Naruto crossover. Kiznaiver doesn't even have a category on the site yet, but I desperately need this to happen. If you haven't watched Kiznaiver yet, go watch it. It's heart-wrenching in all aspects. |
