Not much else to say at the moment. It's just that I write fan fiction to relieve myself of the hangover I get for indulging in the originals. It happens a lot, right?

February 1, 2018: I've been wading into RWBY recently though I hope not to get sucked in. I still have fics in other fandoms to finish and I really want to finish them. Here's hoping I'd be able to continue Horsemen of the Apocalypse and The Tonic Peddler.

February 18, 2020: Work is taking much of both my time and my brain power. Updates would be less and less with all the stuff I'm juggling right now.

Some friendly advice for college students and those who are working on some important paperwork involving heavy research (theses, dissertations, research papers, etc.): DO NOT CRAM ON THE DAY BEFORE. Expect migraines, body pain, and the feeling of being mugged by an angry mob.

You know what's more painful than paying taxes? It's going through all the paperwork yourself. You're basically cutting through layers of red tape with dull, rusty, tetanus-ridden scissors.

Pit Stop (RWBY - Fallout) - The Courier just wants a break from babysitting four teenaged girls who clearly do not belong in the Wasteland.

Her Majesty's Herald (Familiar of Zero - Fallout) - Henrietta takes part in the sacred rite that defines a mage. She asks the cosmos for a familiar to serve her in these trying times as she leads her kingdom. The cosmos responds...with a magically inept herald equipped with advanced musketry, blessed with superior martial prowess, and cursed with chronic alcoholism.

Dry County (RWBY) - The untamed West was a frontier of adventure, wealth, and danger. For these foreigners, however, it was a whole new world filled with hardship, carrying challenges that would test their bonds and shear off their facades to reveal the true person underneath.

French cattleman Jaune Arc, Greek showgirl Pyrrha Nikos, Chinese migrant Lie Ren, and Norwegian stowaway Nora Valkyrie would have to cast away their own shackles and work together to stay alive. Brought together in the small mining town of Beacon in Vale County, they would have to face a string of robberies by the notorious English gentleman thief Roman Torchwick; an uprising of abused laborers against the Schnee Trading Company; run-ins with outlaws, bounty hunters, and Pinkerton detectives; and an elaborate conspiracy threatening to trigger another deadly county war.

The West was its own world and anything could happen.

But barring politics, diplomacy, conspiracy, and a potential suitor, she was already here and she was going to do her job. She just wished people would stop calling her 'Your Majesty' every time she showed her face.

The Ones Who Are Bound (RWBY) - Jaune was one of the lucky ones. Spared by the Tartars for his usefulness, his goal was to survive for as long as he can until he could rid himself of their yoke. Heroes Need Not Question Their Actions (RWBY - Call Of Duty) - It is 1945 and war has destroyed much of the world they once knew. In the west, a once prominent family struggles to weather the storm of a vengeful army. In the east, two brothers-in-arms attempt to find newer purpose outside their Imperial destiny.

Sway (RWBY) - Hiding in an Atlas nightclub can get rather uncomfortable. One has to endure the revelry, the other teaches her to flow with it. A veteran cracks under the ice while his rival starts to melt. Others come to grips with their reality now that the world they knew has changed irrevocably.

Nihil Novi Sub Sole (RWBY - Fallout) - 'There is nothing new under the sun.' Remnant may be different to the wastelands they have walked but the same principles apply. The same struggles, the same methods, the same game, the same cards. Maybe this time, the strategy would be different.

Archangels (RWBY): Sequel to Archangel. The Great War has ended but the scars are still fresh. Indentured to the British Empire, Jaune Arc and Weiss Schnee must lead their team of Huntsmen and Huntresses to maintain order in a world that is still scratching at its wounds. From the freezing tundras of the fledgling Soviet Union to the turbulent streets of Weimar Germany, they must act fast to save as many as they can in the hopes of finding respite and maybe - just maybe - find a way back home to Remnant. [Interbellum AU]

In The History Books (RWBY): A series of anecdotes and interconnected scenarios of the RWBY cast in various historical settings.

The Multiverse Files (RWBY): After a cryptic dream, Ozpin finds a mysterious flash drive on his desk believed to contain some sort of files on this 'multiverse' phenomenon. (A personal take on this whole genre of fan fiction.)

Means To An End (RWBY): Teams RWBY and JNPR are thrown into the not-so-distant future where they encounter an embittered Major Jaune Arc of the remnants of Remnant's armies, his liaison and partner First Lieutenant "Red" Ruby Rose, and their bionic superior Brigadier General Winter Schnee. Remnant is overrun by evolved Grimm, leaving humans and faunus straining to survive. Can both teams mend the future or choose to return to the past to change it?

Acolytes (Fairy Tail - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim): Zeref makes a deal with Hermaeous Mora over forbidden knowledge, in the process inadvertently summoning the Last Dragonborn from the depths of Apocrypha.

For RWBY fanfic readers, I recommend RWBY AU - Inquisitions Officer by chbedok1. I think that a work like that needs more attention because it has an interesting AU plot and a nice protagonist with a cheeky narrative. You can find the story on DeviantArt.
