IMPORTANT: On September 12th 2018, EU parlament will vote on Article 13, a new copyright law that could destroy Internet as we know it. If Article 13 passes, no person living in the European Union will be allowed to post a photograph or even a link without paying a license. Lots of social media platforms, such as Reddit, could be banned in the EU, because they are mostly consistent of links and images. Though Fanfiction.net likely won't be affected, being a non-profit site, lots of other sites will, and there is still a possibility that Fanfiction.net could be affected in some ways as well. Article 13 could even lead to people having to pay in order to be allowed to merely COMMENT on a video, article and photo that they don't own. We must stop this. Anyone reading this, please spread the news about this on social media, sign any online petition against Article 13 that you can find, and if you live in European Union, please call your local MEP and place a complaint. It still isn't too late. We decide, and we can-and must-stop this. Save the Internet!
