Hey everyone!

Just started a new story too--yay for longer update times on my current stories! :P Sorry but I couldn't help it! :)

So I'm branching out from Teen Titans with a crossover with Rise of the Guardians in Faith and Doubt. I know how I want the story to go and it shouldn't be to complicated to update. Or be too long. (Hah! I always say that and end up with hugely long stories. Whatever, this is how I lie to myself.)

For those of you who are reading When You Wish Upon A Star, I so far have 4 votes for KF, 3 for Speedy and 1 for Aqualad. Go forth my minions and vote! (Okay now I'm being weird but if you really care about the pairing, let me know!)

Anyway, I'm thinking of finishing Odds and Ends soon now that I've gotten over the block of how to get X and Raven together...Then again, whenever I read it, I'm not too happy with it and I'm trying to figure out why...I think I'll push ahead with it but I may go back and edit some things...meh, we'll see

I'm in love with Exquisite (can't decide if it's weird to be in love with your own story)...I have a pretty good idea where this is going and quite a lot of dialogue lined up, however, I want it to be PERFECT. I think the story deserves that. So I'm seeking out a beta for this story especially. Also because I'd like to talk with someone about introducing the main villain. This person has been decided on, however, I want the moment to have an impact. I'm a bit stumped as to how to do this. When I get over this issue, updates should be more regular.

Finally, I think I'll also be updating 10 Things I Hate About You and The Raven Princess soon. Both will be beta'ed by SmilesXGiggles, who has really really helped me figure out what I want to happen in The Raven Princess. She's pretty much the reason this story is alive. Broken will also (hopefully) see a new chapter soon when SmilesXGiggles can take time to look at it (not sure how long that will be since we're both in the thick of exam season but the skeleton of a chapter has been written and is just being shelved).

S is for Stalker is on HIATUS until I find a beta to discuss what I want to have happen with it. I just wrote it on a whim and now actually need to plan some plot points out so that it makes sense.

Tumbling Down is always difficult to pinpoint since I have a hard time thinking up things for themes that aren't mine. You'd think it'd offer direction, however, it's also stifling a bit. Next theme, Riddles.

Sorry I've been away for so long and I hope I'll be back to updating in no time! :)

About Me: I live in the United Kingdom studying Chinese studies and History. I'm absolutely in love with my degree even though it does a good job of keeping me busy. I'm still a romantic (as evidenced by the fact that almost all of my stories have some kind of pairing going on). I'm still as ADD as ever, often starting new books or stories when I already have plenty on my plate and I still have a big problem finishing things I've started--what can I say? I get bored easily. But I'm trying my best to keep to (at least of FFN) the stories I already have, directing my restless energies between the plethora of unfinished stories I have.

I'm in love with music, even more so now that my boyfriend's flatmate has something playing in the background at all times. I now feel incomplete when there isn't some type of music in the background. As for TV shows and movies, well, I don't watch too many of either. TV shows are hard time-consuming and I'm a poor college student so I only go to see movies that, I feel, I'll die without seeing. Like The Hobbit (which I loved--screw everyone who thought it was too long and dull).

I still love drawing and, after a billion years, have still managed to be incapable of drawing anything remotely life-like. Actually, my drawing skills have almost slipped away completely thanks to uni. Though I recently took a brief introductory photography class and, though I'm not close to being an expert, I'm still happy to have some medium of artistic expression that I'm capable of.

Don't really know what else to say about myself...that seems to be what sticks out about me when I reflect on myself...but if you have any questions you're dying to know, you can always PM me--I love getting messages _

Favourite Books

I'm still love with many of the 'classics' like Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Wuthering Heights. I still love Sci-Fi too--with Tolkien, Rowling, and Martin ranking among my favourite authors. Thrillers like all of Dan Brown's books are good to pass the time (especially at the airport--perhaps all the action compensates for an especially boring time?). I've also recently discovered Terry Pratchett who is just hilarious (though his is a very dry sense of humour).

I'm not sure what else to add under favourite books seeing as I love almost any book I can get my hands on and that is well-written (even if it's something traditionally considered 'dull' like Orientalism by Edward Said. I've actually fallen in love with the literary critic Edward Said this year after having read him for a course).

Favourite Movies

Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Coraline, The Nightmare before Christmas and most of Tim Burton's movies. I also like all the harry potter movies, all the x-men movies, the proposal, Minority Report, Pan's Labrinth, The Island, Chocolat, and Meet Joe Black. I also like John Hughes' movies (they're classics). I also like Perfume:Story of a murderer, Office Space, and The Dark Knight.

I also LOVE Hayao Miyazaki's movies like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Howl's Moving Castle. He's so talented. I also still love the classic disney films (it's my childhood, leave me be) like mulan, beauty and the beast, etc.

I've also recently become obsessed with Alan Rickman; he's a fantastic actor (and plays my favourite HP character). His films, like Something the Lord Made are truly amazing. He's just a stunning actor.

500 days of Summer, Zombieland, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Pride and Prejudice were also awesome. The Other Guys and Black Dynamite are pretty much my go-to movies for a great laugh.

Favourite T.V. Shows and Anime

House, Avatar the Last Airbender (and Legend of Korra--not so much for the plot as for the new characters--hope season 2 is more developed), Teen Titans, X-Men Evolution, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, Inuyasha, Kekkaishi, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, DNAngel, Deathnote, Skip-Beat, Danny Phantom are my all-time favourites. Recently discovered the Venture Bros. which is insanely hilarious (and a bit strange).

Arrested Development and The Big Bang Theory are probably my favourite non-cartoon shows.

Favourite Bands

I like listening to a lot of music. I really like Evanescence, the Fallen, Billy Talent, Smashing Pumpkins, Aerosmith, The All-American Rejects, Aqua, Blink-182, Bowling for Soup, Bon Jovi, the Black Eyed Peas, Heart, Boys Like Girls, Breaking Benjamin, Coldplay, Cobra Starship, Death Cab for Cutie, Sum 41, 44, Eminem, Five for Fighting, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Good Charlotte, Guns n' Roses, Poison, Hinder, Jason Mraz, Jewel, Linkin Park, Kanye West (only really like Homecoming and Can't Tell Me Nothing but seeing as he's from Chicago I'm a bit obligated to leave him on the list), the Killers, 3 Doors Down, Owl City, Pink, Queen, Rob Thomas, Simple Plan, the Shinedown, Snow Patrol, Seether, U2, Vanessa Carlton, Train, Wheatus, Matchbox 20, Angels and Airwaves, and Yellowcard. I also like K-pop, especially Shinee and Super Junior, 2NE1, Big Bang, B Block (Nilili Mambo is kind of epic), psy (I'm sorry, but Gangnam style is catchy shit) and Trax J-Pop, like Home Made Kazoku, Nightmare, and Yui (mostly songs from my anime shows). I also love Farewell to Slavianka(and the dubstep rendition), prekrasnoe dalenko, and gruppa krovi (all russian songs). I should also add Adele (her voice is just lovely), the Flobots (the song Handlebars got me into them--check out the video for the song, it's sad but well done), Flight of the Conchords (funny songs), and the Script. Skillet, Three Days Grace, Metallica, and 30 Seconds to Mars are new(er) additions to my music collection.

Favourite Videogames

Yes, I love playing videogames, mostly RPGs (Role Playing Games). I cant stand FPS (first person shooter) because I'm terrible at it. Really, really terrible. I also like Sandbox games, though I tend to get lost and spend an inordinate time wandering. My favorite games are Dragon Age Origins, Mirror's edge, Final Fantasy VII (the best one), Kingdom Hearts, Dead or Alive 3, Soul Caliber II, III, and IV, Assassin's Creed 2, Oblivion, Skyrim, Diablo 2, Marvel Heroes, Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Guitar Hero, WoW, and Infamous.

About me: I live near Chicago though I often visit family in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am a freshman in college. I've lived in several states and been to many different high schools. I hate sports, both playing them and watching them. I have no coordination at all. I read a ton and one of my favorite authors is Jane Austen. I haven't read all of her novels (I've only read Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Persuasion) but I've loved them all, so I guess that makes me a romantic (maybe?). I actually like reading almost anything and I'm often in the middle of multiple books. I also LOVE almost anything Asian, I've been fascinated with Asian culture since I can remember (particularly that of Japan and China) and I really, really, really want to study abroad there! I actually really like anything foreign, I'm obsessed with British accents. I would love to live in England for a few years.

I also draw and read manga. I can't draw anything life-like for the life of me, though. I tend to be over-critical of nearly everything I do, but I've just accepted it. Learning to embrace the flaws of my work isn't going to happen. I know, I'm all over the place with my interests, but that's how I am as a person: random. I'm disorganized and scatter-brained, but I've also accepted that shortcoming.
