So I may have hilariously jinxed myself by overstating my comeback potential. Believe me when I say I would really love to be writing right now, it's just that my body is currently trying to do its best speedrun of every single health problem it can think of. Also, shoulders are far too complicated. We really need to speak with management and ask about streamlining these things. This is even more tiresome to live than to deal with waiting for fanfic, I totally promise you. What I'm writing is definitely not going to be the quality that I want it to be. It's frustrating and maddening to deal with. I can promise that most of these fics, particularly Masquerade, are not abandoned - but I just want to write them when I can write them well, instead of merely okay. If I seem to be bouncing from idea to idea, it's because that's really the only thing my pain is letting me do right now. It sucks to deal with on my end, and I'm sure it sucks as a reader to deal with as well. Anyway, be nice to your shoulders, don't tear any bits of your rotator cuff, and for God's sake go get your chickenpox vaccine so you never have to deal with shingles. So, while I try to do my best dribbling out things piecemeal, please remember your pal PlaidButterfly, who desperately wants to finish writing all of these things but hasn't got the brain for it right now, especially when it comes to her baby Masquerade. Pour out a drink for me. Vodka and fresh orange juice preferred but cloyingly sweet plum wine is also fine. Or just some straight CBD oil. Because that stuff is expensive, and being disabled is not really a well-paying gig... PLEASE NOTE: ANYONE WHO COMES INTO MY PM INBOX THINKING I WILL WRITE WHATEVER THEY LIKE AND BE A PERFECT FANFICTION MACHINE WILL RECEIVE MY FOOT UP THEIR ASS, AND THEIR HEADS IMPALED ON THE SHARPENED END OF A CLUE-BY-FOUR. This notice will do sweet bippy about it because, of course, if any of these morons had an inkling of self-awareness, they would have rubbed their two whole brain cells together to maybe notice context clues like "i'm not even writing what i wanna write right now fam". However, the caps and bold have been a great therapeutic exercise. Because it just keeps happening. For the love of God, do not come be a spoiled toddler throwing a tantrum in my inbox.
