OK, a profile update. I really want to apologize to everyone who's been waiting for a Kim Possible sequel from me. I've been having a hard time finding the inspiration or inclination to write lately. I still come out with one-shots now and then, when I feel particularly inspired by something, but the thought of doing a lengthy, multi-chapter fic is simply daunting. My life is currently in transition, which causes some stress and a loss of free time.

That being said, I love to write. I began as a fanfic author with Harry Potter stuff on Fiction Alley, mainly Astronomy Tower. I've really gotten into the Danny Phantom and Avatar cartoons, though, so I joined this site. I like the new Ben 10: Alien Force, too. A new obsession is Doctor Who, and I've dabbled in some other fandoms.

Other interests are music and theatre. I try to do one stage production a year, but lately I've been doing more than that. Last spring, I was on the crew for South Pacific, I filled in for someone on the closing weekend of a locally written and produced play called Tip$ (about people who work jobs where much of their income is from tips), and I'm currently crewing a show called Catch Me if You Can.

Ships supported: Danny/Sam, Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, Kataang, Sokka/Yue, Sukka or George, Soko, Maiko. Basically, I might write almost any ship in Avatar that doesn't conflict with Kataang. I have recently been getting into Kim Possible fanfiction, where I write Kim/Ron and Drakken/Shego. A little Bonnie/Junior on the side, too.

I am unabashedly a canon shipper, and I wanted to say that I really don't understand people who don't like the Kataang ship. It's so epic that it feels like the equivalent of not wanting Han Solo and Princess Leia to be together. I was actually around during the interval between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and though I was young, I do remember a lot of speculation for the final installment of that trilogy. However, I don't remember anyone going around hoping that Han would not get out of the carbonite so that Leia could run off with Boba Fett or Lando Calrissian or something. I suppose I understand, as a writer, wanting to play around with things like Zutara or Draco/Hermione to see if you can get it to work, but do you really have to hate Kataang or Ron/Hermione in the process?

Despite their popularity, I have removed my analyses of Avatar: The Last Airbender ships. The series ended almost 4 years ago, and I think it's time to sort of move on. I might still write the occasional oneshot, but I'm not really planning any longer works in that fandom.

Maybe I'll update if something strikes me. Incidentally, Megamind was a truly amazing film, and I can't believe it wasn't nominated by the Academy. I've written two oneshots for it, and there are many other fics based on the movie that are well worth reading!
