"Hey. What…?" Inuyasha hesitated, unsure he should focus too closely on the scents filling the den. More softly, he asked, "What did you do?"
Sesshoumaru's eyebrows lifted. "You do not know about such things…?"
"Keh." His cheeks began to burn. "I know enough."
"Which part eludes you?"
"The why… I guess." Inuyasha glanced at Kagome. "Why you?"
His brother took his time answering. "Perhaps it was the wish."
"Nah. Can't be."
Sesshoumaru blinked.
"Kagome isn't so easily influenced. You either." Maybe that was part of it. "Guess she sees something in you she didn't find in the rest."
"The… rest?"
