Team CRML, consisting of Qrow and Summer's son, Liam Branwen, Salem's adopted child who turned runaway, Marek, Willow Schnee's illegitimate son, Chrome Belladonna, and a Faunus, Nicole Redwood, look to save Remnant from Salem. However, Marek's twin sister and older brother help Salem in order to rule beside her.

One week left until the second semester and students across remnant arrive for the festival, when a Blackout has occurred in Beacon and a chain of events have started which has changed the course of the world as knows it and a young prodigy experiences a permanent change in her life. Can this prodigy still hope to be a hero? Contains vampires and liberties with canon, Ladybug.

Dying due to some random entity's mistake wasn't how I wanted to finish my Monday. Receiving a new life in return along with the Gamer system might have placated me a bit. At least until I was dropped into the world of RWBY as a Grimm. Yep, I was screwed... Gamer Grimm OC.

At the end of his first term at Beacon, Jaune goes back to Mistral to meet the family and meet up with Pyrrha.Qrow and Glynda follow up lead to try and thwart Salem's plans. However, wider events eventually result in an outbreak of Grimm and rising tensions between humans and Faunus in Ansel. Follows on from Learning to Lead, Learning to Follow.
