I guess I need to go and edit the format, but I'm kind of crunched for time, and well, I just really wanted to get it up somewhere for people to read.

For those who missed the previous note, I've pretty much spliced out the explicit scenes from He Returns to Him in Battle to comply with the new FF Regs, since I really didn't want it taken down.

So I see it's been ten years since I've updated my profile, and I have to admit, I never thought I'd be back writing on this site since my teenage Harry Potter years! I definitely read fanfic during that lapse, but I haven't written in a long time, as you can see by the dates. The Harry Potter stuff was 2002 and beforehand.

Fun stuff: I'm in my 20s, and about to finish grad school. I hadn't written fanfic in a decade, but Skyword Sword's potential with Ghirahim kept me up with plot bunnies, the first of which I finally exorcised.

Confession: There are two fictional characters that have turned me into a raging fangirl. The first was Severus Snape, even before Alan Rickman. That hit at the appropriate age of 14.

Then there was the Demon Lord Ghirahim... Sexy, sexy Ghirahim. And so here I am!

I got asked once by a reviewer how I could ship GhiraLink and GhiraFi at the same time, and I was a little surprised by the question, but once I thought about it, I realized I took a lot of my thoughts on the two ships for granted.

I see GhiraFi and GhiraLink as two completely different types of ships. My GhiraLink preferences feature stories that are darker, with the passion being based on obsession and lust, with some underlying BDSM themes. I don't see Ghirahim capable of being “in love” with Link, really, or them having any kind of traditionally healthy relationship.

In contrast, I see GhiraFi as having potential for something a bit more pure. I think Ghirahim could easily see Fi as the closest thing to an equal, an entity he can admire, both for her own attributes, as well as for the qualities in himself that she mirrors by virtue of being a sword spirit who inhabits a beautiful, powerful sword. I see a lot of his potential affection for her as an almost Narcissus-like type of fondness. I think he could be capable of approaching something like love with her.

Favorite Zelda Ships: GhiraFi, GhiraLink, Sheik/Malon, MaLink, and I love good Sheik and Scrapper stories (mutually exclusive Sheik and Scrapper stories).

Update stuff: Apr. 15

He Returned to him in Battle: COMPLETE. I originally uploaded the first chapter intending it as a one-shot... that clearly worked out well.

I'll probably be adding onto this beginning in a month or so. While the fic is complete as is, I'm probably going to write a small series of vignettes on Ghirahim and Link's time together in Demise's castle, and help flesh out their relationship a bit.

Sword Spirit's Sacrifice is in progress. It might take be a while to finish, my last sets of finals are coming up, but hopefully I'll be able to update regularly on this! It's a bit more difficult, because unliked the other SS fic, I haven't figured out the plotline yet. I'm thinking of adding in some more GhiraLink interaction, but I'm uncertain of whether I want to do this here, or just start a new story...we'll see.

12-22-02 STORY UPDATE: I have updated Plight of the Werewolf! Chapter 7 up. Once again, I apologize for the like of updating. I'm sixteen years old and a sophomore in high school. My interests are reading, dancing, and writing. In addition to fanfiction, I also write editorials and news stories for the school paper. My future career interests, are I suppose, publishing, law, business, and maybe even becoming an editor for a magazine or newspaper. My best subjects are English and History and my worst is Chemistry. (Although that may be due to the lack of a good teacher.) My favorite ships are SS/HG, RL/Sinistra, and DM/GW. Plight of the Werewolf: The gang's seventh year at Hogwarts. Voldemort has been defeated, but mobs of former Death Eaters still roam the Wizarding world. Two new mysterious students come to Hogwarts, and Remus Lupin and Sirius Black return to teach. However, when Remus' friends find out he is on the Death Eater's hitlist, how much of the truth willc ome out?
