![]() Author has written 19 stories for Star Wars, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Cuphead, and Supernatural. Hello peoples! My name is Joanfenny Kenobi. I’m an Authoress, I’m a cartoonist, and I hope to be an animator someday. Joanfenny is not my real name but you are more than welcome to call me that. Or ”Joanie” is fine too. Also, before I continue, I am politely and calmly asking everyone to stop sending me PMs asking me to date them, sending my dating websites, etc. I am not interested in a relationship so stop asking! So, for the handful of faithful souls who have been wondering about my sudden absence, I think you deserve an explanation. Yes, I have been MIA for months. Quarantine is partly to blame, it’s been taking a toll on all of us, but it’s been other things too. I guess the best and simplest way to explain it is that for the first time in a long time things are... good. My mental health has improved, I’m at a much better school, I’m surrounded by good friends, and overall things are better. And yes, even with quarantine my life has improved dramatically. If I told my past self what was going to happen now, she would be ecstatic, pandemic and all. As a result, since my life improved, there was less of a need for me to escape to these fictional settings. I’ve started diving into interests that I’ve ignored because now I have IRL people to share them with. I was more involved in the ”Real World” because for the first time I had a place in it, a purpose. However some of the friends I’ve made are fanfic writers themselves, and us all sharing our ideas has got me thinking about this account. Some of the stories I’ve mentioned or written a few chapters about still play out in my mind, but I often don’t have enough time to write. However I’ve changed a lot since I’ve started some of these stories, and the attitude I had towards this account changed too. i don’t know if I’l be oberating full-time like I used to, but I feel updating my profile page is a good place to start. However I can never fully forget this account, even if one day I abandon it or delete it. This was the one place where I could let my imagination run wild, where I first started the name ”Joanfenny.” Going through the horrors of school, it was seeing your reviews between classes that really kept my spirits up. They were something to look forward to. So thank you for that. And finally, I know you’ve all been asking me about this for years now, and I need to give an honest answer rather than the shallow promise of ”I’ll finish it I promise.” As of now, ”What Was Promised” will not be updated. I know it’s tough for you to hear (but probably expected) especially since it was that story that helped me gain attention. The reason why has been a problem I’ve had since the very beginning— I‘m not good with Romance. It’s not that I don’t like it (although if you gave me a choice between a romantic comedy or a mystery thriller I’d choice the thriller in a heartbeat) but I’m very picky about it and I’m not good at writing it. However this being a fanfic website means that there are going to be thousands of romantic writers and readers everywhere. ”What Was Promised” was my attempt to write a romantic story my way... but I seemed to be the only one who didn’t see the connection between the characters. I was having more fun plotting the hidden lore and twists of the story than all the quality time our two characters would have. I was gushing over all the adventure and Grace’s character development while everyone else was like ”Now KISS!” The harder I tried, the more frustrating it got, and that was the last thing I needed at the time. I was also having a hard time figuring out how it would end. Would the heroes win? Would it be a tragedy? A coming-of-age story? I didn’t know. Maybe someday I’ll come back to it, I still have the plot written out chapter for chapter, but only time will tell. And if your new and I have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s not really worth looking into. Also, I will be deleting all stories that never got past one chapter and weren't one-shots. A bit of summer cleaning. You have been warned. Anywho, for those of you who are new, or your an irl friend who has stumbled upon this old account of chaos, welcome! My name is Joanfenny and I run this channel with my three fictional feline furballs, Orio, Prim, and Video. If you want to hear their story check out ”Fandom Frenzy,” the ultimate crossover story featuring gambling, cartoons, Jedi, and Swedish fish. To cover some of the basics: Name: I just told you!
