The easiest stories to write are crossovers because once you ask the question, "What would happen if the characters from X met the characters from Y," the story practically writes itself. I'm just the secretary. And come to think of it, if Darth Vader and Lord Voldemort got into a fight, who WOULD win?

I discovered fan fiction by accident. One day I was google-searching for a review of the "Series of Unfortunate Events" movie and found fan fiction and have enjoyed it ever since. I have always made up stories about my favorite characters for my own amusement, but I never wrote them down, and I never dreamed anybody else did this, either.

The biggest challenge for me is finding the time to write. Just like everybody else, the plot bunnies and ideas are there, but they need to be fleshed out into something coherent and readable. There are some amazing authors out there, whose muses work overtime, and they just crank out chapter after chapter. My muse, on the other hand, loves frequent breaks and naps, and sometimes hides from me.

So then, I just enjoy other people's stories.
