Disclaimer: If you are looking for canon portrayals of characters, or expect the characters to behave exactly as Ms. Rowling wrote them, please go elsewhere. Canon's been written, been done to death, and is over with. I usually don't do canon pairings for the same reason, because then everyone knows how it ends. Boring!

Another Disclaimer: My earlier stories (written before February 2015) take place in an Alternate Universe where Sirius actually got a trial and was found innocent so that's how he is raising Harry with the help of Remus or some OCs.

On the same vein, Neville's parents are sane because either another minor canon couple/character was tortured into insanity, they went into hiding like the Potters and stayed there until all the Death Eaters are caught or they fought against the Death Eaters or they were saved by free! Sirius and his Auror partner/alive! Lily.

Yet another disclaimer: If I don't outwardly state that a certain character is alive after they died in canon they stayed dead. For example, it's after the Department of Mysteries and Sirius makes no appearances of any sort he's dead.

If you read one of my stories and did not like it, don't bother reading the others - you won't like them either. There is no need to tell me about it, as I don't care, especially if you complain about things which are already evident from the summary. I only write for myself and those who like my stories.

An important note about my writing style: You are more than welcome to criticize my writing; however, if I wrote a story a certain way, it's because that's the way that made sense to me at the time. If I don't adequately explain something you aren't fond of, feel free to assume there was an off-screen reason as to why things happened that way. While I like the canon characterizations of many of J.K.'s creations, allowing canon to confine my ideas seems partially against the point of writing fanfiction in the first place. So, if I don't say otherwise, it's probably safe to assume a non-canon universe.
