Progress for Q4 2021: Akane no Guilty Crown: Chapter VII has been posted. This reboot of the 2011 anime will repurpose it with improving the show's flaws, repairing character personalities, and compressing a 22-episode anime into a 19-chapter OVA-style retelling. Drafts/Revisions for Chapters 6-10 are being finalized. Chapters 11-12 are in the planning/writing stages. Going forward for the rest of the year and into early-2022, this story will take the highest priority over Akane no Mai. The final, third part is planned for an early-2022 release. Here's the rundown for the other fics: Digimon Fusion Ascendancy, a Dragon Ball Super adaptation update: Now on hiatus following the end of Chapter 70. With Akane no Mai and my novel taking top priorities, this story came at a perfect point to 'end' while I work on other things. Moreover, it allows me to prep the future arcs adapting DBS: Broly, the Tournament of Power, and quite possibly original arcs & shorts. When this story gets renewed, it'll continue as legacy work after Shin-YYGDM, AnGC, and my first novel draft are done. The YuYuGiDigiMoon series' future has been confirmed in the latest Gaiden entry. Effective as of now, all future entries but Wrath of the Defiants have been canned. Furthermore, due to prioritizing my novel and the Akane no Mai project, Wrath of the Defiants won't see a release for a long while. Later. Current Updates/Statuses Akane no Guilty Crown. The 10-year anniversary fan project retelling the 2011 anime and features two OC protagonists alongside the familiar GC cast, namely Shu, Inori, Gai, Ayase, Tsugumi, and etc. The goal is to improve the show's most fatal flaws, including the characters and show's pacing. This is being established as a limited OVA-style story with less than 20 chapters. It is not only a retelling of the show but new, original content will be featured and other content from spin-off material (specifically manga) will be incorporated into the narrative. Overlooked characters, namely Ayase who is one of the main leads in this story, will get their time to shine. The two OC protagonists will not overshadow the leads and will have equal positions as Shu, Inori, and Ayase. Just like Akane no Mai, this story is being treated as if I practice writing a novelization. This will take higher priority over Akane no Mai for the foreseeable future and will be updated on a near-weekly basis, depending on my IRL schedule. Current chapter: Chapter VII: Behind the Masks Akane no Mai. The long-awaited consolidated remake for Persona Vein and Urban Legends. This three-part novelization features the casts of Persona 5 and Code Vein as they deal with the outside forces that brought them together. These outside forces are not Shadows, but creatures called Yokai and Lost. There'll be guest characters appearing from Kakegurui and Nioh. This story is being treated as if it were a novel while I'm in the process of writing the first draft of my first novel. This will also double my full-on transition from a fanfic writer into a professional novel writer. This story will be updated when I'm able. So, expect frequent and infrequent updates depending on my IRL schedule. Current chapter: Hello, Miura Beach Book II is officially titled, Vestiges of Vein. x Shin-YuYuGiDigiMoon. The reboot of the classic anime crossover has been announced. The four-part tetralogy of movie/OVA-length fics will be retold in the style of other retellings such as the Rebuild of Evangelion. The saga begins with the Wrath of Ghidorah, a condensed retelling combining the plot and elements from Wrath of Pharaohmon and Invasion of the Rajita. The saga ends with a condensed three-parter combining the plot & elements from Dawn of Chaos with the impending Wrath of the Defiants finale (for the original YYGDM). Current OVA Chapter: The Defiant Chaos, Part I Next OVA Chapter Final arc: The Defiant Chaos, Part II x Digimon Fusion Ascendancy. The sequel to Digimon Fusion Kai and a Dragon Ball Super adaptation. With the Fiction's Closure arc done, this story goes into a hiatus period. The Tournament of Power, Super Broly, and Moro adaptation arcs are being planned. New original mini-arcs, side stories, and slice-of-life entries are also being evaluated for this story's return. Planned for a 2022 return and shall continue as Chapter 71 going forward.
