I know, I know... I am even worst than a turtle, right? Sorry for that! But I managed to kick my own ass and write something. Cannot believe I started this story in 2015 and finally gonna finish it in 2021, what a speed writing, girl! Terrible...terrible...
Well, for those of you who are still feeling like reading this , here you go, another bland new chapter. Hope you'll like it.
With all the respect to both Lana and Jen's private lives and relationships, this is pure fiction, a fraction of my crazy imagination during those 6 years.
P.S. 1 I changed the ending in the previous chapter, nothing mager, just deleted the last sentence with the "mysterious interruption".
P.S. 2 My English still didn't get any better, so apologies for any grammer/tense mistakes. (feel free to hit me with those in the comments, always ready for some editing)
Enjoy reading!
…..
Lana was hungrily breathing Jen in. With one last suck on the blonde's tongue, the Latina started running her own against Jen's bottom lip, firstly grazing it with her teeth, biting on it lightly, then more forcefully, eliciting the sexiest sound she'd ever heard, a moan escaping her own lips at the discovery. Jen's arms curl up around the back of the brunette's neck, holding her in place and Lana's hands encircled the blonde woman's waist as she worked to pull Jen even closer, kissing her deeply again, their tongues colliding.
A beeping sound broke through the room, a message was just delivered to one of the women's phones. Without giving it a second thought Lana carried on with her ministrations, already addicted to the taste of the woman in her arms.
On the other end tho the ringing belle had already interrupted the bubble Jen's mind was in. The feeling of Lana everywhere was amazing, she couldn't deny that and yet there was a problem, one she re-discovered in the split of a second, or better to say, in a split of a beep, bringing her back from the phantasy world she was floating in.
The reality of the situation hit Jen like a tsunami. The reality in which Lana was not hers, the reality in which Lana was in a relationship with somebody else and Jen was the third person, the wrong person in every scenario. The thought itself made her sick to her stomach and the only reasonable action she could make at this point was to stop and pull away.
"Wait… wait, please…", Jen said pleadingly, tearing their eager lips apart, "We shouldn't do this."
"Jen…", whispered Lana distractedly, her mind experiencing difficulties to focus on the words coming out of the woman in front of her.
"No, don't do that…", began the blonde, pulling away. The minimal distance between them feeling already like miles away. "You cannot come here and be all…Be all like… Act like that!", she stuttered, trying to find the right words to express her distress from the situation. "I am tired of this game, Lana! I am tired of being the mouse to your cat, okay!?"
Lana was frozen in her place, her mind still trying to catch up, one second they were in pure bliss, next the blonde was pulling away as burned by fire. "Jen…,I, I don't unders…", the brunette tried to said, but was immediately interrupted by the blonde. Anger mixed with air filling her lungs. "For God's sake, Lana , you really don't get it, do you?"
Lana could feel herself starting to sag. "Jen… please…"
"Stop saying my name!", shouted the blonde, "Stop saying my name like that!"
"How am I saying it?", asked Lana, confusion screaming from her whole being.
"Like I matter…", whispered the blonde defeated, "Like I am the only thing that matters to you." She hid her face in her shoulder, blocking the Latina completely. She couldn't allow herself to sugar-coat the situation she was in anymore.
With all the bravery Lana could muster she took the blonde's face between her hands, forcing her to look directly into her eyes and made her confession. "You do matter, Jen. More than you could ever imagine."
The younger woman could read the sincerity into the brunette's brown orbs, her soul was speaking through them, which was making this whole situation even harder. "Stop torturing me, Lana. I…", before she was able to finish , she felt a warmth, a racing beat colliding with her palm.
"Do you feel that, Jennifer?", asked Lana urgently, as if waking up from a nightmare, pinning the blonde's hand over her heart even harder. Without waiting for a response, she declared once again her true feelings. "That's how I feel every time I am near you. My heart is a magnet pulled by yours."
All of Jen's senses were bombarded by the proximity of this beautiful woman sitting next to her. Isn't that what she wanted since the moment she has met the Latina. To be acknowledged by this goddess, to be able to kiss her plump lips, to feel her warm skin against her hands, to hear her laugh or moan, to hear that she matters, that she is not alone in this limbo of complicated emotions. To finally get the affirmation she dreamed of, that yes, she is what the other woman wants and desires.
She was comforted by the brunette's admission, though only a little. She still felt overwhelmed and exhilarated all at once, but then of course the fear was clutched to her shoulder as a reminder of the reality. Because how does that change anything, when Lana was still not hers… to cherish, to…love.
Lana was staring at Jen with pleading eyes, somehow slouching more and more , waiting impatiently for the blonde's response. After a moment, that felt like a decade for Lana, Jen said in defeat "You're engaged, Lana."
"I know!", the brunette emphasised, "But that doesn't change the way I feel about you, Jennifer…", spoke Lana sternly, getting up from the couch. She began to pace in the small trailer, her hands fidgeting in the air. It was now or never…
Taking a deep breath she began with her truth, "The first time we met I felt this immediate connection between us, a connection so strong that I was drawn to you in a way I've never experienced before. Some people might say this is what a soulmate feels like, I don't know, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. What I know is the moment we met something changed. Before you, I was content with my life, with my life routine, I felt peaceful, accomplished, loved. And then you came…You!...", exclaimed the brunette louder this time, "With your gorgeous sun dresses, big hats, sun creams, mesmerising blue-green eyes, goofy giggling, never ending ramblings, astonishing thoughts and adorable childish behaviour behind closed doors. You came like a snow in Mai, unexpected and yet refreshing. Stormed through my soul without permission and started opening hidden doors of emotions just by being you! And then I realised what changed.", she then looked at the blonde woman, whom was staring at her like a dear, not sure how she should interpreted all of this, but there was a glint of hope in her eyes, which gave Lana the strength she needed to continue, to let it all out, to explain all of her actions and decision. "That's when I started to keep my distance, to act differently towards you…colder and ignorant. For me that was the only way I was able to put a stop to my building forbidden feelings. And yet…you continued to treat me with the same good morning smile and lame jokes and I couldn't hold myself but to fall in love with you even deeper. God knows I've tried! I've tried to block you, I've tried to push you away, even when I knew my actions were going to cause you pain, I did it all. And yet at the end of the day it always felt like I was the one hurting the most. But I am done, Jen! I am done denying what I want, what I crave, what I dream about the moment I close my eyes."
Lana looked at the blonde to find her staring at her, she couldn't discern the woman's thoughts, but she hoped the truth behind her words was transparent. Next thing she knew Jen had extended both of her hands out towards her, motioning for her to take them. When Lana did, Jen found herself rubbing her thumbs gently over her skin in a slow, soothing pattern. Their eyes were connected in a way that made both of their heart beat a little faster.
"You brighten my life solely by existing.", continued Lana, voice sounding a little shaky, "Your laugh – a cure to a bad day. Kissing you – since today my new favourite activity and loving you – the mission of my heart." The last accord was already out, all of Lana's cards on the table. She felt somehow lighter. Jen hasn't spoken yet, but Lana felt like her heart was going to explode when she saw the softness behind the blonde's eyes, which gave her all the reassurance she needed.
The blonde finally broke their stare and looked down at their joined hands. She glanced at the space between them and pulled the Latina closer, guiding her to sit again on the couch next to her. Jen dragged Lana into a tight hug as she poured all of her emotions from the past half an hour into their embrace. Even though Jen couldn't see the brunette's face in this position, Lana wore a goofy smile as the reality of the situation kicked in. Lana released the blonde from her hold, still wearing the enormous smile on her face as she kissed Jen's cheek. The younger woman took a couple of moments to compose herself, but even if she needed an eternity, Lana was ready to give it to her.
Jen couldn't speak because she couldn't stop staring at Lana. The blonde was biting her lip so hard she wasn't able to articulate a proper sentence. This felt like a dream, a dream she didn't want to wake up from and yet what surprised her the most was that this time… this was the reality. "Life feels like a magnetic field in which we both exist and are effortlessly drawn by each other.", Jen declared, visibly relaxing, as if no more carrying the weigh of the world on her shoulders.
"Oh, now you've decided to steal my own romance, huh…", Lana commended with a reassuring smile, finally breaking the heavy hypnotizing atmosphere that had enveloped them.
They smiled at each other. Then Lana used her grip on Jen's hands to pull them closer to her mouth, giving both a feather light kiss, a sealing of a truce is a some sort of way.
The blonde reached out slowly, tucking a stray strand of Lana's hair behind her ear. Her
hand started sliding down to cup the other woman's jaw. The warmth of her palm lured Lana into the touch and her eyes had fluted closed. Lana took a few breaths and then opened her eyes. She and Jen started leaning forward in unison, their mouths connecting again as if for the first time. Their mouths were moving against each others, swapping placement but only separating with the immediate intention of reconnecting. Jen has gripped the back of Lana's neck, pulling them deeper into the kiss. The moment Lana parted her lips, they both wasted no time sliding their tongues together. Lana felt Jen's hand on her waist, touching her bare skin under her shirt, lightly tracing her fingertips across her side. Jen broke their kiss,
moving her lips down to brunette's jaw. She peppered the area with wet kisses and continued her path lower to her neck. As soon as she located her thrumming pulse point, she latched on, briefly scraping the skin between her teeth. The Latina let out the softest whimper in response, letting Jen feel the vibration against her mouth.
Then suddenly the younger woman broke their kiss completely. She didn't move away, though. She kept their foreheads connected. Her eyes dancing between Lana's gaze and Lana's mouth. "I am in love with you too, Lana…", Jen spoke softly, as if tasting the sentence for the first time.
Lana's mouth spread into a beamy smile. "Took you long enough to admit it, Morrison!"
The two women giggled at the same time. Both mesmerized by each other, tears filling their eyes, hearts on fire, feeling relieved and free.
"So…what are we gonna do now?", Jen questioned, hopefully and curiously, making Lana chuckle.
"Now you will finish your soup…", said the brunette reaching out to the table for the forgotten soup, putting it back into the blonde's hands, completely ignoring the adorable pout the blonde was giving her, "…and everything else we will deal with later. Together.", adding the last bit with a big smile.
"Together…", Jen confirmed dreamily, whilst pulling Lana in for one more blistering kiss, leaving her weak in the knees.
Well… They were finally happy and they were ready to continue chasing that feeling… Together.
…
I really tried to do those two some justice , I truly believe they deserve a happy ending and me as a huge Morrilla fan was so ready to give it to them. It took me 6 years , but oh well...who is counting, right? I plan to write an epiloge to this story as well.
Cannot believe, that might be my first finished story ever...
Would love to hear your comments! And of course thank you for spending your time reading this fanfiction! : )
