Sesshoumaru landed in an explosion that rocked the earth, blowing the trees outward in its force.
His true form magnificent in its size and stature lay on the ground in a heap of limbs.
The awful keening howls were heard for miles as Sesshoumaru cried his pain and betrayal for all the world to hear.
He lay that way for days. Unable to move as his broken heart became hardened to the world. He vowed he would never again allow someone the power to make him feel such pain.
And on the sixth day he rose again, different than he had been before.
