Percy Jackson
The following morning, Percy was woken up by Annabeth. "Get up, Seaweed Brain," she insisted, and with much groaning, complaining, and dragging of feet, he was out of bed. "Chiron needs to see us."
Percy pulled on a Camp Half-Blood T-shirt and shouldered a sea-green sweatshirt. Then Annabeth lead the way out of the cabin.
Stepping outside, they was greeted by the wizards, who were also called. They waited for a minute for Frank, Hazel and Reyna to catch up, so that they could come with them.
Frank gave Percy a hug. "Frank," said Percy between breaths, "You're almost as bad as Tyson."
In the time away, Percy noted that Frank had gotten even taller, which he didn't think was even possible, and more muscular in turn, although his traditional bow was still swung over his back.
Hazel was next to him, and she hadn't changed much. She was a bit taller, but still looked like an elf next to Frank.
Reyna wasn't too much taller, still shorter than Frank, of course, but with her flowing purple cape and Imperial Gold plated armor, she was intimidating as always, if not more.
Hearing footsteps, Percy swiveled, and was pleasantly surprised to see Leo running towards them. "Whats up, guys? It's been a while Baby Man." Frank sighed. "Hi Leo. I'd thought you'd be dead by now."
Leo patted himself. "Nope, still here."
Reyna also sighed. "Incompetent as always, Valdez."
They looked around, and seeing no one eager to join them, the group traveled up to the Big House.
Upon entry, they saw that they were the last to go into the room. Tris, Four, Katniss, Peeta, Piper, Jason, and Nico had already gathered around the Ping-Pong table. The group of nineteen look to Chiron, who took a deep breath.
"The time has come for you to embark. This quest will be challenging and perilous, though I trust you can do it. If you work as a team, I'm sure you can conquer anything. In the meantime, the gods have told me that what you're destined to face is going to give you hardship around every corner. Never underestimate the power you're facing." He looked around the table, and was met by determined faces.
Nodding, he lead the way outside.
Percy looked around at camp, and couldn't stifle the feeling that he could be seeing this for the last time. Chiron stopped in front of the woods, and held out a hand for us to enter.
"Why enter this forest? You're always in camp," demanded Peeta. Katniss, Tris and Four nodded. The wizards also looked questioning.
Chiron looked at him. "These woods will bring you to where you need to be." Percy looked around at them, and entered the woods. Watching him do that, the others followed, although they were still skeptical.
As soon as they were all out of view of camp, however, there was a tremor. A few people stumbled. Another tremor, and they had fallen. The world tilted, and there was darkness.
