Most hated thing in fanfiction?

When you just add an oc but change literally nothing else about the fanfiction. Like seriously. I hate it. If you're going to make a pokemon story change more than just an oc. Add something to it. ANd for the love of god don't make the oc op unless said oc is the main focus of the story or you're planning on evening out the power level in someway. This is why I always avoid fanfiction that have ocs in it. Unless said ocs are the main focus or it's a self incert. Because those actually do something. Pokemon fanfiction is especially bad with this. Like at least change of Ash's team or something! Because otherwise your basically just making a carbon copy of the anime and I hate that. And it sucks that so many stories are like that when I see a new pokemon story with ocs I don't give it a chance because it might be like this. But the story might not actually be like that.

I do have one oc story that isn't self insert on my faves and it's an avatar one. They actually change up more than just adding an oc. I recommend that one.
