Percy Jackson
It took a few minutes, but eventually, Valeigh was able to explain to us the tight situation. Apparently, the group "the Vanquished", which Aristotle had told them about yesterday, had delivered yet another threat. Except this time, there was no messages to decode, or vague threats of attack. This time, the meaning was clear.
The Vanquished had new information on the city, and was gathering their forces to attack the following day.
Valeigh also showed them the ashen scroll that the message had been delivered on, saying how the group somehow knew the nineteen of them had entered Primordia, and issued a message directly to them. Percy narrowed his eyes and read the stunted writing.

Percy exchanged worried glances with the rest of them. How in the Hades did this Vanquished group know about their worlds? They hadn't even told Elyssae-Lydian the full truth. The part he was most worried about, though, was the last line. Forces of their worlds, did that mean monsters? He looked back up to Valeigh, who had placed the streaked sheet back on the table with the map.
"Right now, we are taking the context and state of the writing, and using it to track down where the Vanquished will be coming from, and we think we've located the general area."
Valeigh stepped aside, revealing the full berth of the map.
Symbols were etched along the side, detailing the map in a chaotic sort of order.
Slanted writing labeled what he assumed were natural formations and other kingdoms.
Mountains bordered most of the map, opening up in the south to an expansive ocean and a much smaller opening in the northeast leading out to a barren wasteland. In the west, an area of ice stretched from around the northwestern part of the map to a little past midway, and in the middle of the south, a rich rainforest bloomed, thinning into a more deciduous forest as it expanded upward. In the far east, a plain crossed a majority of the area, and in the south, the plain was broken into by in influx of rivers emerging from the mountains. In the top of the northeastern plain, a couple of wind-like symbols criss-crossed the area, making it seem kind of like a plain, but one covered in fog.
Kingdoms dotted the area. In fact, the cities were quite amazing. There weren't a large amount, but judging from their size and position, you could tell a lot about them.
There was two in the mountains that ringed the area of the map, the one on the northwest mountains labeled "Threstrough" and another in the easternmost mountains, "Atiumis".
One was placed in tropical rainforest-like area was called "Junipitrois", while one in the more deciduous forest was "Stantine".
Meanwhile, up on the icy slightly-northwest plain, there stood "Nurotioesque".
In the deep south, bordering the ocean, lay "Lopitzuli".
Moving to the east, in the misty plains area stood "Flytsimynar", and in the area crossed by rivers, showed the slanted text "Primordia".
A small device was outlining a space on the map, which upon further investigation, was in the area outside the northeastern break in the mountains, an area labeled "Iobystine Wasteland".
Percy glanced up from the map.
It was complicated, but one thing was clear: this kingdom was going to be attacked the following day, by a group knowing of their secret, from an uncontrolled area.
