Harry Potter
As the end of the day loomed nearer and nearer, Harry and the rest of the group knew they would have to leave. The very fact that Primordia would be attacked the next day, and by people who were likely their enemies, meant that they had to deal with the problem themselves. There was no time to waste.
And thus, this how they ended up in Elyssae-Lydian's quarters, explaining why they had to go.
She seemed understanding, at best, and only gave a resolute nod. "I would do anything to protect my people. If you are willing to fight in advocacy of us, I wish you only well."
With that, they left the quarters and stepped out of the palace.
Aristotle seemed forlorn to see them go so soon, but he also wished them best of luck. "I hope you return safely," he said, and his eyes were full of honesty and trust. Harry nodded, gave Aristotle a smile, and began to walk towards the outer wall of the kingdom.
The final goodbye they made was to Raine, Jacques, and Ezereal. Raine gave each of them a hug, and Ezereal promised they'd be waiting. Jacques nodded in agreement, hope shining in each of their faces.
With that, they had reached the edge of the city. The tall, astrological walls rose up on either side as they stepped through the North Gate, which going north would lead to the break in the mountains as shown on the map. Once they got through that break, they'd be in the Iobystine Wasteland, where the Vanquished would be likely preparing.
The hills rose up, grassy and heathered, with dips where Harry assumed rivers were running.
It was rather picturesque, with the sun setting on the endless fields and rich green mountains rising up to the west.
They'd be traveling through the night, although Elyssae-Lydian said that they'd likely reach the break just after dawn, if they'd stop to rest. And so, with the dying light of the sun and a map to guide them, the journey began once more.
