Fanfiction is a great way to try your hand at playing God to characters you have read about in your favourite books, to exercise your imagination and share with other like-minded readers or fellow writers the stories our muse has kindly graced us with. I love to read fanfiction, and when I manage to get my lazy self off my most confortable bed, I enjoy writing whatever's been floating in my head too.

IMHO, science has brought great advances in the civilisation of humans but taken the magic out of a heck lot of things. Kids are more often than not, mocked at for believing in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus. Let's try to forget about the scientific theories and reality for a bit while surfing on fanfiction's website, and try to relive that childhood time where we believed in the magic of our imagination, where we would wave a friendly hello to the wind fairies playing and rustling the leaves on the pavement, marvel at the stars in the sky, be mesmerised at the mysterious moon where some believed magical creatures lived in.

No matter how tough it gets going, never forget to believe and have faith in the simple things in life. Be it a epic length story or a short tale, find the joy in immersing yourself in the unlimited imagination of others. It is truly, a wondrous thing.
