A/N: Hello dear readers. Fluffy wintertime chapter. Next chapter is number eighty which just is amazing to me that I have kept this going for so long.

The winter had been relatively mild with a few snow storms but mostly it rained. Something they had so desperately needed a few weeks prior now concerned them as it was to soon for rain.

With their supplies still well stocked and Sesshomaru able to make up for anything they lacked everyone lived comfortably. On a nicer day Kagome bundled up Sumiko, Kuro, and Moroha to go outside to play in the snow.

She had made small foot coverings for them made of leather along with long stockings and heavy kimonos covered with fur lined cloaks. Their hands she had fashioned rabbit skin mittens.

"Oh my god, you're all adorable." She gushed as her two eldest clamored to get outside. Screaming as soon as they did they ran into the snow covered fields immediately throwing themselves down to play.

With Moroha on her back she gave a small wave to Jinenji who opted for some much deserved quiet time alone in their hut. Kagome had made similar coverings to Towa and Setsuna as well. Placed in the old, until she ended up pregnant again she surmised, baby basket she went to Sesshomaru and Rins hut.

Walking between them she saw Rin by the butterfly bush staring up at the tree. It looked as if she were muttering something to herself. Concerned she knocked on the door being let in by Sesshomaru.

"Hey, is Rin alright?" Handing him the basket he cocked his head slightly to the side as if in question. "She's by the tree talking to herself."

"Rin is talking to our son, Toga." Sesshomaru said letting her in to the hut.

"Oh. That makes sense." Breathing a sigh of relief she smiled at Towa who came over to her all smiles herself.

"Gome." She said happily.

"Hello Towa." Removing Moroha she took her out placing her on the floor to play with her friend. Moroha clapped and scooted on her rear following Towa to where Setsuna was sitting playing with a wooden doll with yarn hair.

"What is this?" Sesshomaru asked taking out a small hand covering.

"I made hand and foot coverings for the girls in case they wanted to go outside to play in the snow. It's been so nice I know my kids have been dying to get outside." Kagome said.

"Thank you." Sesshomaru moved the basket to sit on top of the chest that served as a wardrobe.

"How is Rin doing with her pregnancy?"

"Well." He replied. "Some discomfort but nothing she can't alleviate herself."

"Good. I'm not going to lie, I am worried after she lost little Toga but she seems okay."

"As am I. Personally, I had wanted to wait but Rin assured me that she would be alright."

"Well, I'm going to go back outside to keep an eye on Sumiko and Kuro. Do you mind if I leave Moroha with you?" Standing Kagome straightened out her cloak and kimono.

"No." Sesshomaru watched her as she gave a grateful nod and slipped out the door before Moroha saw her leave.

Sumiko was next to Rin with her hands to her belly that had begun to grow while Kuro used his hands as a snow plow to shovel snow as he made a wall.

"What a nice day." She mused to herself taking in the blue sky and bright sun.
