AN: I'm back again. Here is chapter 26! Are Z and Merci welcoming a new baby? So sorry I haven't posted this story in a while...
Zayne looked at his girlfriend and baby mama in the face. She was holding the pregnancy test in her hand and she wasn't saying anything.
"What?"
Merci sighs deeply as she hands him the test. "Well, I'm fucked. I'm having anxiety about this one. I cried when I found out I was pregnant with Eva and Carter, but with this one, it's just overly anxious..."
Zayne wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry…"
Merci breathed deeply. "What the fuck are we doing to do? I- I just had fucking twins less than 3 months ago! Not even three fucking months!" She runs her fingers through her long dark blonde hair.
Zayne grabbed her shoulders. "Merci, you need to breathe."
Merci shook her head. "I'll breathe when I know this isn't real..."
Zayne just stared at her. "Merci..."
Merci glared at him. "Don't fucking listen to what is coming out of my mouth, okay? I'm just having an anxiety attack thinking about how fucking expensive this is gonna be…" She says, sighing with her eyes closed.
Zayne breathed deeply as he listened to the girl in front of him. The love of his life. He has been wanting a family with her, and now he does. His son and daughter, who he didn't know about until a few weeks ago are happy and healthy. Now he has to get used to the fact he'll probably be a dad again for the second time, unexpectedly.
Again. The first time was unexpected as well.
"Whatever happens, Mercs, we'll get through. I promise." He promised his girlfriend.
"I'll make a doctor's appointment…" Merci groans as she walks out of the bathroom and grabs her phone from her bed and calls her OB/YN.
After scheduling an appointment with her doctor for tomorrow, Merci tried to relax and think maybe she wasn't pregnant. Her sister, Maci is now 36 weeks pregnant with her niece and nephew. Bailey and Maya are 23 weeks pregnant.
After fighting with herself until the next day, Merci had her mother watch the twins while she and Zayne went to the doctor. Merci didn't want to tell anyone right away or why she was going to the doctor again, so she made up a reason why her mother was watching the twins.
She and Zayne waited in her exam room until her doctor walked inside, smiling at her. "Hi Merci. It seems that you took a pregnancy test yesterday and you want to know if it's true or not?" She asks, and Merci nods her head.
"Yes, I'm just wanting to know…" Merci says, playing with her fingers. Her doctor nods her head. "Alright. I'll take some blood from you and have you take another pregnancy test, is that okay with you?"
Merci nods. "That's fine." After running the tests, her doctor comes back and sighs.
"Merci, you are pregnant…"
Merci's eyes widened. "Fuck." She mumbled under her breath.
After the appointment, Merci got into Zayne's car and buried her head into her hands and let all of the tears that she was fighting in the doctor's office fall.
Zayne tried to calm her down, but she shook her head. "Z, please. No. I don't want you to touch me right now. I need to progress this by myself…" She tells him, looking out the window.
