Bayley's P.O.V.
It's my birthday, my mom's birthday and Rawlings's would've been due date today! I'm seventeen. Mom is now 34 years old. We have a lot to celebrate. I was laying in my bed, fast asleep when I felt a kiss on my cheek. My eyes opened to see Taylor putting a tray on my bed, filled with an amazing breakfast.
"Hi." I smile. Taylor smiles at me before leaning in and gives me a passionate kiss.
"Happy birthday, baby girl."
"Thank you!" I say with a big smile on my face. "Where's Rawlings?"
Taylor smiles. "She's asleep in her bassinet. I was very quiet this morning. I want today to be special."
I sit up in my bed. "Thank you, babe. It looks amazing." I say, taking a bite of the eggs.
Taylor smiles at me. "You're welcome.
After I ate my breakfast, I took a quick shower. After getting out, I dried myself off and blow dried my hair so my blonde and mix with brown was dried enough for me to change into my new outfit my mom had to insist I wear today.
Bitches, it's my birthday. It's also Mom's birthday. I can't say no, that's our rule in our house. You can't say no to the birthday girl\boy.
I changed into a black shirt, moron jean skirt with five gold buttons going down the middle and my black biker jacket. I had my engagement ring on of course, but I added some more rings my mom, dad, and grandmothers gotten me over the years.
My hair was now straightened and had a few waves at the bottom. After getting myself ready for the day, I put my black boots on, and then headed downstairs with Taylor holding Rawlings.
Rawlings was awake now, she was getting fussy. Time to breastfeed her again. When we got downstairs I saw my mom and dad sitting on the couch with balloons everywhere. One balloon was bubble letters 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' with 17 underneath, and that was in rose gold. The other one was just white with 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'.
My eyes widened. I feel so loved right now.
"Happy birthday to my baby!" Mom says, wrapping her arms around me. "Thank you. But-" I look at them. "Aren't you two supposed to be at work?" I say, taking my daughter and start feeding her. As soon as she starts eating, she stops crying.
Dad smiles. "We took the day off for you..."
I knew the tears were coming. I force them back. "I don't know what to say. You didn't have to-"
Mom shushed me. "We wanted to because you wouldn't be at school anyways. We wanted to spend them with you, Taylor and Raws." She says, looking at the baby in my arms.
"Awww, you are the best mom ever." I smile at her. "Happy birthday, Mom. I know I should say this more, but I really appreciate you and I hope Rawlings understands how much she should appreciate me when she's older."
Mom laughs, smiling at me. "Oh, she will, honey. Someday, she will."
I let Rawlings finish eating before she finishes, I burp her and change her outfit. I turn to my parents.
"We are celebrating my birthday, Mom's birthday and Rawlings would've been due date, right?"
Dad nods his head. "Yeah. Family and your friends should be coming over around 12PM. We wanted to just have a small get together."
Mom looks at me. "How is my baby seventeen already?" She fights back the tears, I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know. I'm now a mother as well, and like, I honestly have no idea how you did it. I'm so scared to be here with Rawlings for so long without help."
Mom smiles softly. "It took weeks to come up with a schedule. You have one, sweetie. You can do it."
"Are you sure?" I ask. She nods. "Yes. I'm so proud of you. You've been doing so well. Rawlings is so lucky to have a strong mom like you."
"Well, I've been strong my whole life. Rawlings just makes me stronger." I say.
Rawlings starts cooing with a little laugh. We turn to look at her, she had a huge smile on her face. I start laughing. Knowing what she did, Taylor groans.
"Oh, come on, Rawlings. You just had to do that..." He says, taking her from me and carrying her upstairs to get her cleaned up.
Mom, dad and I burst out into laughter, knowing she had a blowout in her diaper. I do feel bad for Taylor, but he can do it, he's a great dad.
After having a somewhat relaxing morning - because I have a baby, nothing is relaxing about it, my mom, grandmothers, Cara and Bailey, and Ayliana and I, along with Rawlings, of course met up at small coffee shop around the corner for the continuation of brunch with the women in my family. Ayliana was obviously invited because she'll be my mother in law in a few months. I couldn't leave her out.
And I was basically kicked out of the house by dad, who didn't get that I know what he's planning already.
My birthday party.
I already ate, so I just ordered an iced coffee with mini cupcakes because I can. As I was holding Rawlings, my grandmother, Cara, my dad's mom looked at me.
"How are you feeling, sweetheart?"
I let out a small laugh. "I'm always so exhausted. I'm not looking forward to having Taylor go back to school and work. Those last two weeks before I go back myself are going to be hell."
Ayliana looks at me with a frown on her face. "Do you really feel that way, honey?"
I let out a sigh, nodding my head. "Yeah."
Mom sighs. "Honey, you have so many people who want to help you."
"I know."
After two hours spending time with the ladies, we head home to seeing my family's cars and Val's car outside, so I got excited.
I walked into the house, with my mom, Ayliana, and two grandmothers behind me. Other family members, friends and Taylor, who was holding Rawlings.
"SURPRISE!" They all yell.
A big smile came to my face. The big balloons that says 17 with two crowns. There was cupcakes on the table with a 17 birthday cake which was chocolate with strawberries. There was mini apps on the counter. Presents were in the living room, waiting for me and my mom to open them.
I began thanking everyone for coming after walking into the house. After saying hello to everyone, my grandpa Cody was finished with making all of the food. While I was holding my little girl, my friends came over to me.
"Hi girl! Happy birthday!" Gina hugs me. I gave her a big smile. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, girl."
Val smiles. "Happy would've been due date, Rawlings."
Rawlings giggles and smiles, cooing. I smile at my baby girl.
After a nice dinner and dessert, singing happy birthday to me and my mom, and happy would've been due date to Rawlings, I opened gifts that were for me and my daughter. After thanking everyone for coming, Taylor and I layed Rawlings down for the night - or at least for the next 3 hours and before she woke up though, everyone had gone home.
I had a great birthday.
I'm finally seventeen years old with a baby.
AN: I had to have McDonald's. Lol. Photos are on my Instagram and Wattpad!
