Bayley's P.O.V.
It's my bridal shower! My mom is throwing me a bridal shower just two weeks before my wedding. I can't believe I'll be getting married in two weeks. Reagan is now thirteen weeks pregnant. She's four months along. She'll be fifteen weeks pregnant when I get married. I have special requests for her regarding her dress so it fits her perfectly. My mom, Ayliana, my aunt Jocelyn, and my aunt Audrey grandmothers, Tori, my friends and sister and cousin are having the shower at my parent's house today before my friends, Brooke and Jordyn and I head to NYC for two days.
My mom has my dad, brothers and younger sisters out of the house with my grandpa Cody, Taylor and Rich so we could have the whole house to ourselves. I slept over at my parent's place last night. I took Rawlings with me so that the boys aren't stuck with two babies. That would've been something to watch if we stuck them with two babies.
When I woke up this morning, I took a nice long shower before I get out, and blew dried my hair and curled it before changing into my outfit for the night.
After changing into my white flowy dress, I curled my hair and did my makeup and as I was doing that, I heard yelling from the hallway. I knew who it was. I started chuckling a bit. It was my four friends. Jordyn, my aunt Jocelyn, aunt Audrey, Ayliana and Tori are already here. I heard the bedroom door open and not a second later, I felt arms around me.
"I'm so excited for this weekend! It's gonna be so lit!" Gina giggles as she hugs me. I laugh at her being super excited. "I see you're so excited, girl." I say, finishing my makeup.
After I finished getting ready, I put my shoes on before my friends and I head downstairs to see everything my mom did for me. I wasn't allowed to come downstairs this morning, so I'm starving. My mom has gone all out for me. There was lots of snacks, food and drinks and of course desserts out on the kitchen island and tables. There was a banner with the word 'Bride To Be' and lots of gifts for me to open. I blush a little, knowing I have to open them around my grandmothers.
Great. Just fucking great.
My mom looked up from traying breakfast out for everyone. "Good morning, sweetie. How did you sleep?" She asks me. I smile at her. "I slept good. I'm now starving. Is breakfast almost done?" I ask my mom, who nods her head. "Two more minutes and then we can all eat." She tells me.
Thank God. I'm starving.
I greet my grandmothers, cousin, aunts, soon to be mother in law and soon to be sister in law as mom continues to get everything ready. Trying to distract myself from my hunger, I start talking to my grandmothers, Bailey and Claire.
"I can't believe my baby's baby is getting married in two weeks." My grandmother, Bailey says to me, hugging me. 'I know right? She's a grown woman now." My grandmother, Claire says. I smile at them both. "Well, I can't believe it either." I say with a little laugh.
Mom looks at them. "Oh, you two, stop it. You'll make her cry." She says, finishing up breakfast.
I let out a small laugh, nodding my head, agreeing with my mother. "Thank you, Mom."
"You're welcome, honey." Mom says, chuckling. "When are you ladies leaving?" She looks me, my friends, sister and cousin. "Later tonight." Jordyn answers.
After having breakfast, my mom had me open some gifts she, Ayliana, and my grandmother's got me for my wedding. It was sweet they wanted to get me something. I hope my grandmothers, mom and Ayliana understand I won't be opening the gifts my friends got me in front of them.
Saving myself from embarrassment.
It was all great things I got for our apartment and I loved them all, along with my grandmother's necklace she wore at her wedding. I already had something new and something blue, I needed something old.
After making sure I had everything I wanted packed, which included four pairs of yoga pants, a nice dress for our girl's night out, sweaters and my phone charger and of course, body wash, shampoo and conditioner and some other items. After saying goodbye to mom, Ayliana and my grandmothers, Jordyn, my friends, Brooke and I headed towards New York City.

We finally arrived in New York City, we're at our hotel and refreshing up so we could go exploring before calling it a girl's night in, with lots of sweets, drinks, pizza and movies, and maybe some more pictures together. We are only staying two nights and leaving early Monday morning. We headed out until 7:00PM before deciding to head back to the hotel, where a surprise was waiting for me. The girls had me call Taylor outside, while they set everything up before we left.
I was confused, but didn't ask any questions, knowing I'd get nowhere and get no answers until we came back. I'm standing in front of our hotel room, shaking so bad I'm so fucking nervous. "Ready?" Val asks me, and I nod my head. "Yeah."
And when Brooke opened the hotel room door, my eyes widened in complete shock and feeling all of the love for my cousin, sister and friends, who put so much effort into this girl's only trip.
After I walked around the room to see the banners 'Miss to Mrs.', 'Girl's Night In', and 'Bride To Be' was in balloon letters with the 'Miss To Mrs.', and we had a few snacks, cake, and cake pops and drinks with a few rings they can write on for me.
I loved it. I got so lucky with these ladies.
I knew I had tears in my eyes. I start sniffling a little, trying not to burst into tears, and messing up my makeup. "Oh my God, guys! I-I-I don't-I don't know what to say. This is so amazing." I start breathing heavily, sniffling loudly, and I start laughing a bit. "Oh God, I'm so sorry, I'm crying." I tell them.
Val chuckles a little. "All we need to know is, do you like it?" She asks me. I nod my head quickly, "Yes! I fucking love this! Thank you for doing this for me. I don't deserve you guys." I say, wiping my eyes.
Brooke hugs me. "Well, you are always stuck with me. I'm your sister." She laughs, making me smile. "Thank you, B for making me smile."
"You're welcome." Brooke says, pulling away from me so Eva could put the sash on me.
After a while, we start enjoying the food and I love not being a mom for a weekend, but I do miss my baby girl. I know she's fine. She's with her father, my soon to be husband. We have almost all of the food and cake pops before we stay up as late as we could. I fell asleep at one in the morning. I think I slept like a baby for the first time in months.
Our girl's weekend quickly came and gone, and now it's Monday morning and we are heading home.
I felt so loved this weekend.
I can't wait to going from being Miss. Bayley Kingston to Mrs. Bayley Rayes in two weeks.
