Bayley's P.O.V.
Today is the day my life will change. I won't be Bayley Kingston after today. I'll be Mrs. Bayley Rayes. I woke up with a big smile on my face. I got out of bed, walked into the bathroom, took the ponytail band out of my hair and undressed after turning on the shower. When the water was the perfect temperature, I step inside and shut the door. I wash my face, put shampoo and conditioner into my hair and then wash my body before stepping out of the shower. I grab the towel and dry myself off. I put on my blue bra and underwear that mom left for me with a note.
When I step out of the shower, my friends were eating breakfast so I join them after putting my bride robe on. After breakfast, my friends and I take pictures in our robes before we get our makeup and hair done.
After I'm done with my makeup which was light but you could still see it, I change into my wedding dress. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever had on me. I never pictured myself in a wedding dress.
I went with a french braid on top of my head from one side to the other, curled and a flower clip holding the braid together. My dress was lace at the top, flower sleeves with lace as well, belt on my waist and the bottom was plain, with an open back. I'm completely in love the dress.
My flower bouquet had purple and white flowers. After I was finished getting ready, I stepped out of my room to reveal myself to my friends, cousins, sisters, mother, mother in law and grandmothers.
When they saw me for the first time, all of their eyes go wide in surprise how beautiful I look. Mom's eyes are filling with tears. I shake my head. "Mom, please don't crying because I will and I'm not messing up my makeup." I chuckle.
Mom nods her head as she holds her tears back from falling. "Okay, I won't cry here. I'll cry when we get out there then." She says. I nod my head. "I'll be okay with that."
Ayliana smiles at me. "Oh, honey. You look so beautiful! I have a feeling Taylor will start crying when he sees you." She tells me. I laugh a little. "Well, if he doesn't start crying, I'll be turning my ass around until he does start crying."
Everyone starts laughing at my statement and then we hear a knock on the door, Jordyn goes over to the door and opens it to see my dad standing in his suit.
"I'm here, ladies. Is Bay ready?" He asks, and I come into view for him. "I'm the only one in white. Hi." I let out a little laugh.
Dad's eyes go wide when he sees me for the first time. His eyes tear up when he walks closer to me. "Oh, sweetheart, you are beautiful." He says, wiping a tear from his eye. The ladies leave the hotel room and head to the barn where Taylor and I are getting married. It's a short car ride there from the hotel.
When everyone left the room, dad turns to me, taking my hands into his. "Oh, my sweet Bayley. I can't believe you are getting married. It feels like it was just yesterday when you were born. You changed my life for the better and I can't imagine my life without Rawlings. She is my life. Of course, I didn't expect you to follow in your mother and I's footsteps, but you did what was the best for you and I'm so proud of you." Dad tells me, and now, I feel tears coming, I force them away.
I don't want to be a crying mess as I'm walking down the aisle with my dad. My father and I head to the limo that's waiting for us outside. Dad carefully helps me inside the limo. I take the biggest breath of my life.
My heart is beating a million beats a minute. I'm so anxious to see Taylor. I can't wait to see him.
I bet he can't wait to see me. This will be our first time seeing each other today.
I wonder what my parent's wedding was like. I know my brother and I were there. My mom was seven months pregnant with Brooke.
After what seems like forever, we finally arrive at the barn and my dad helps me out of the limo. We head into the barn, where the reception will be held after our wedding.
Here we go. Here's my moment that will change my life forever.
The music start playing and my dad and I link arms as we head out the barn doors.
We start walking down the aisle, Taylor looks up at me. A big smile is forming on his face, along with a few tears. I knew he'd be so emotional seeing me for the first time today. Our wedding day. When my dad and I reach the end of the aisle, my dad places my hand into Taylor's.
We are smiling at each other with so much love in our eyes. I still can't believe someone actually loves me so much that they want to marry me. We both link hands. Dad smiles, looking at the priest who smiles at dad.
"Who gives this woman to this man in marriage?" He asks, and my dad smiles. "Her mother and I do, happily." Dad says before sitting next to mom, who is holding Brittaniah and Ayliana is holding Rawlings on her lap.
The priest starts talking and we listen to his speech. He looks at Taylor. "Taylor, do you take Bayley to be your wife, loving her, cherishing her, protect her and take care of her in sickness and in health until you part ways in death?"
Taylor nods his head, smiling at me. "I do." The priest turns to me and asks me the same thing, and I nod my head, happily. "I do." The priest smiles at the crowd. "Both Taylor and Bayley have their vows they wrote for each other, so I'll let them do so before I have them put their rings on."
He turns to Taylor. "Taylor, you may go first, if you like."
Taylor nods his head as he takes the microphone from the priest before taking out a piece of paper out of his pocket. My eyes are now starting to tear up again
Oh for fuck sakes Taylor.
Taylor clears his throat before looking me in the eyes. I see the love in his eyes. "Bayley Kingston, I can't believe we are standing here today. I couldn't imagine my life without you or our baby. When I first met you, I couldn't have guessed that we would be married a year and six months after falling in love. I can't wait to go on this beautiful adventure with you and our baby girl. I also can't wait to see what our future has in store for us. I love you so much, Bay. I will be there for you when you are in need of comfort, struggling, happy, and or just need a day off mom duty. You have been such a great, amazing mother to our daughter. I know for sure you'll be the best wife you can be. I love you so much, Bay." By the time, he's finished, I know for a fact I have tears in my eyes.
I let out a small laugh. "I hope I can top that. I doubt it." I say, making our family and friends laugh. I take a deep breath before starting my vows for the love of my life. I hope he knows how much I fucking love him.
"Taylor, I hope you know much I love you. When I was younger, I didn't think this day would happen. I thought I would end up alone for the rest of life because every guy I met would go running because of my disability. But, one day my prince charming came into my life and changed my life for the better. You gave me the best gift anyone has ever gotten, our baby girl, Rawlings. I can't wait to see what our future holds for us and grow old with you." I say with tears beaming in my eyes.
After our rings are on our fingers, we turn to the priest once again. "I now pronounce you husband and wife." He turned to Taylor. "Taylor, you may kiss your bride."
With a grin on his face, Taylor looks at me. "You don't have to tell me twice." He says, taking my cheeks into his hands before leaning down and presses our lips together in a passionate kiss and then he takes me by surprise when he dips me, still kissing me. After what seems like a long kiss, we break apart to our family and friends clapping, the priest smiles.
"I now pronounce to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and Bayley Rayes."
Everyone cheered and clapped as we walked down the aisle together with big smiles on our faces.
I'm now a married woman. I'm married to my best friend. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Taylor as my husband. When we reached the end of the aisle, we headed off to take our wedding pictures. The other pictures we're take with family and friends at the reception.
I'm so happy.
I can't wait to grow our family someday. We have our little girl.
I couldn't picture my life going the way it did.
I can't wait to celebrate us.
