AN: Rayeleigh's baby shower chapter! I decided to make the last chapter short, this chapter will be a bit long to make up for the super short chapter!
Sunday, October 31, 2032
Rayeleigh and Leah are now 38 weeks pregnant and Maya is 26 weeks pregnant.
Today is Rayeleigh's baby shower. Leah had hers yesterday. Brayden went to Leah's baby shower to support his friend as well, even though he and Leah have no idea if he or Josh is the father of the baby girl, who isn't named yet, but Leah has made choices.
However, Rayeleigh made a decision on her daughter's name. After getting ready for her baby shower, Rayeleigh headed downstairs and saw her friends and family, waiting for her.
"MALAYSIAH ROSE!" They yell, excited. Rayeleigh smiles at everyone as she walks downstairs to hug her family members and friends.
Carey smiled at her granddaughter. "Malaysiah is a beautiful name, honey. What does it mean? Do you know?" She asks.
Rayeleigh smiles as she nods her head. "It means thanks in greek. I just wanted something different, so I decided to name her after a place in Asia. It sounded beautiful to me." The young teen explains.
"I love it, sweetheart. It's beautiful."
"Thank you!" Rayeleigh hugs her grandmother.
After a small talk with her grandmother, Rayeleigh decided to take a look around the house to see the details and decorations that Jocelyn put together.
It was beautifully decorated. There was a few signs with baby girl, oh baby and cake and donuts with drinks that were preggatinis, along with other drinks. Outside, there was tables and two were for Rayeleigh, mommy to be, and Jake, daddy to be. Even with the fact that they won't know who the father of the baby will be until the birth, they just decided to say that for the other family members who wouldn't understand or would make Rayeleigh feel terrible on her special day.
Rayeleigh's friends, Leah, Savannah, Kelsey and Payton were all here as well.
Leah hugs her friend. "You look so beautiful, girl. How are you feeling?" She asked.
Rayeleigh chuckles. "Pregnant. Very fucking pregnant, as you know."
Leah laughs as she rubs her belly. "So fucking done. I feel you."
"What are you naming her, Leah?" Rayeleigh asks, rubbing her nine month pregnant belly.
Leah smiles. "Nevaeh Faith. I'm saying her last name until she's born. I want to know who her father is first."
Rayeleigh nods her head. "I completely understand that, Lee."
Leah nods. "I'm so glad you understand..."
"I think I'm the only one who understands, girl." Rayeleigh smiles.
After a while of thanking everyone for coming, they all had lunch and then desserts. An hour later, Rayeleigh and Jake began opening everything they were given today. It was a perfect day with friends and family.
"Thank you for everything, Joces." Jake tells Jocelyn, who smiles at him. "You're welcome, guys. Malaysiah deserves it all. She should be good for a good three months."
Rayeleigh laughs. "No joke. I think she has more clothes than me."
Jocelyn chuckles. "That's how I feel about Charley. She has a lot of baby clothes as well."
Jake leans down and kisses Rayeleigh's head before hearing Carter and Caliey run over to them.
"Daddy!" Caliey yells, running towards her father with her brother behind him. When they were close enough, Jake let them jump into his arms. "Hey baby girl. Are you having fun?" He asked his two kids, who nod their heads.
"Yes!" They both say, clapping their hands.
"Good." Jake smiles. "You both are napping when you get to my house, okay?"
Both Carter and Caliey nod their heads. "Okay." They say, tiredly.
Jocelyn chuckles. "I think they're ready for their nap time."
Rayeleigh nods her head. "We'll head home now."
After saying their goodbyes and thank you again, Jake and Rayeleigh headed back to Jake's house to lay the twins and Charley down for their naps.
When the kids were finally down, the young couple unloaded the car with everything they got from the baby shower and placed it into Malaysiah's nursery. Rayeleigh sighs after a while.
"I feel way too pregnant..." She complains as she sits on the couch. Jake looks over at her, sighing, he walks over to her and sits beside her. "I'm so sorry, baby. It will be so worth it in the end. I promise." He kisses her head.
"I hope you're right." Rayeleigh lays her head on his shoulder as she was yawning. "We better get Mala's nursery ready soon. I'm three weeks away from my due date, Jake..."
Jake sighs. "We'll get everything ready before we comes. I can promise you that before she comes, her room will be all ready for her." He promises his girlfriend.
