A few days later, Saturday, November 6, 2032
Leah and Rayeleigh are one week away from giving birth. They are 39 weeks pregnant, while Maya is 28 weeks pregnant.
The mission today is get everything ready for Mala's arrival. Rayeleigh moved in with Jake a few days ago, so they could raise the baby together. Even though they have no idea who is the father yet, Jake is 110% prepared to raise the baby girl as his own, if it turns out that she's his brother's child.
Rayeleigh is feeling every emotion possible. To overly sensitive to overly excited to meet her daughter. She's also tried not to think of Josh being Mala's father. She always pictured her children's father being Jake.
The morning of November 6th, Rayeleigh woke up feeling so uncomfortable. Her back was killing her, every muscle hurt like a bitch and every time she moved, it felt like she had to go to the bathroom. It was horrible.
She's due in three days. It literally isn't something she pictured. She couldn't walk much, so when she got up this morning, she heard Jake in the nursery. She headed over to the baby's nursery and her mood changed quickly.
"Hey." Rayeleigh says, rubbing her belly with one hand.
Jake looks up at her with a huge grin on his face. "Hey baby girl. How's our little angel?"
Rayeleigh smiles. "She's good. She's almost ready to come out and meet her parents and siblings. Are we almost done with her nursery so I can wash everything?"
Jake nods. "I just started putting her crib together. The dresser is finished. Everything else is done. Some of her clothing needs to be washed. You can do that since I'll be busy with this for a hot minute." He tells her.
She nods her head. "Okay, I'm going to go make some breakfast and then I'll get started on the laundry." She says, kissing him before heading downstairs to the kitchen.
After making herself breakfast and finishing eating it, Rayeleigh decided to start cleaning the whole downstairs - the best she could because she is pregnant and a week away from giving birth.
After cleaning what she could, the seventeen year old headed back upstairs to her daughter's nursery to see it all finished.
It's so fucking beautiful.
Her eyes widened in complete bliss and happiness. "T-this is- is so beautiful! Babe, you did such a beautiful job! I-" She stutters as she sobs in her hand.
Jake looks up at his very pregnant girlfriend, who was a crying mess. He chuckles and with a big smile on his face, he stood up slowly and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her belly. "Oh, baby. Do you like it?" He leans down and kisses her lips softly.
With a nod, Rayeleigh continues to cry her emotions out. She shakes her head as she buries her head into his shirt. "I-I- I'm sorry." She felt tears rolling down her face. "I'm just so fucking pregnant that my emotions are going so damn crazy. I can't thank you enough...I-" She was crying so much that she couldn't even continue. Jake just nods, kissing her head.
"I know, I know, baby." He ran his fingers through her hair. "You don't have to thank me, baby girl. I'm doing this because I want you to know that I love you, and I love Mala with everything I am. Whether she is mine or not, I want you know that she means the world to me. I was serious when you first told me you were pregnant." He rubs her back up and down while letting her cry.
"I love you." Rayeleigh sniffs, looking up at him with red puffy eyes.
"I love you more, babe." Jake says, kissing her head. "Now, let me help you with the laundry." He says, making Rayeleigh give him a look.
"Never in my whole life would I ever thought a guy would say that to me..." She laughs as she began going through Malaysiah's 0 to 3 month clothes.
He winks at her. "Believe it, baby." He leans over and kisses her passionately. "I can't wait to meet our baby girl."
AN: I'm almost done with this book. I can't believe an idea I came up with a year ago, is ending. The squeal will be coming out soon!
