Who's got talent

Walking around the stage he built. Naruto checked off a few things on a notepad he had such as lights, microphones, rope, fire extinguishers, even a target bored for arrows or knives. " ok the steps are built, the ropes are secure and the chef-o-meter is hung up with power. The stage is set now all I need is the talent" naruto said till he heard a blowhorn go off getting him to sigh while the campers screamed bloody murder at Chris… "seems Chris got up early just to piss them off for his kind of drama" Naruto continued while walking to the mess hall after putting away his notepad plainer.

"Naruto there you are. That wasn't you with the blow horn, was it? I haven't finished the grub for the maggots yet." Chef Hatchet said only for him to see the shake of my head. "Damn that Chris now I'm going to have to deal with whiny maggots while I cook." complaint Chef…"If you want Chef I can help I'm done making the stage and setting everything up so I got some free time." Naruto offered.

"The help would be appreciated Naruto however this is your free time so you should write more on your book," Chef Hatchet said as he ground up pork, beef, and shrimp with mayonnaise for the campers with a grin to tell of major pain… For the campers, stomachs or Chris was anyone's guess "ok thanks Chef ill get to it but if you need anything just holler" Naruto said walking out the mess hall to his Airstream only to run into the campers making their way to the mess hall. "Hey don't bother right now Chef ain't ready for you all so find somewhere to sit and relax till it is done yea," Naruto said walking past them hearing them grumble bout the rude awakening and not even in time for breakfast.

Coming back to the mess hall naruto found the campers eating while Chris was off to the side with a smug grin as for Chef, well he was sharping his cleaver while occasionally looking at Chris with a glare…"Ok campers today we are going to have a kinda-easy day so once you all are done eating, meet me by the fire pit for today's challenge." Naruto called out wiping Chris's smug grin from his face and getting nods from the others.

Walking out of the mess hall again Naruto headed for the stage he built over the last three days thinking bout his next two projects one of which is halfway done the other, however…looking ahead Naruto saw the stage and hurried up so he could squeeze a few more lines in his book.

A few minutes later the campers showed up along with Chris who got on the stage to explain the challenge. Only for Naruto to get up and but in. " ok as Chris was saying this is a talent-based challenge but instead of three-four of each team can compete there is a supply of objects backstages such as target bored's batons ribbon twirlers available wood and other such things. Now what you all do is up to you all so talk and demonstrate or not it is up to you but so you know Chef is the judge you are trying to impress so good luck." Naruto said then walked away while Chris seethed and the campers paled.

With the bass team "ok so we're doing a talent show I guess I'm a given…" why are you a given sweet cheek?" Courtney started till Dunen butted in…" if you must Know Dunken I've been taking violin lessons since I was young.

"Could have started with that tight ass," Dunken said looking away with a huff only for Courtney to get pissed at him and start to argue while the rest of the bass watched on. Now let's look at the gophers while the bass watches the fireworks known as drama.

" ok so Trent's in, I am too of course," Heather said with an air of superiority about her…" this is stupid. I'm outa here."Gwen said walking away unaware that heather was watching her. "; let's see some more talents" heather said plaining to get Gwen's diary… the next to try out was Lindsay who started to walk around like on a cat-walk getting disappointed sighs from the team.

Seeing as how something looks to be steering with the fish let check naruto and see what he's up to… walking from the craft shed we find Naruto a wide bored and two cans of paint and brushes that is till he spots Gwen by a tree the way he's headed. So walking to the building off to the side of the cabins he built. He sets his stuff down and heads to her.

"Hey, Gwen what are you doing here? Not going to try out with one of your Pomes? They are pretty good you should do one."Naruto greeted only to think out loud the last part getting a smile from Gwen who looked to the side to hide it…" you read my diary! Naruto I would expect better than that from you. Gwen said with a hard stare after the smile.

eyes widening Naruto threw up his hands "no of course not. I hear you when you are in the shower by yourself." Naruto quickly explained while waving his hands back and forth… "you hear me when I'm in the shower what are you a pervert?!" Gwen said with some heat…" no, no, and differently not. My godfather was the perv I'm just making sure nothing is going on course one of the guys was headed toward it." Naruto pleaded his case.

"O-oh that makes sense, there might be cameras everywhere but not in the bathroom…thanks I guess for checking Naruto sorry for getting mad" Gwen said with a thankful look…"it's no problem, Gwen. but you should do a pome. As I said they're pretty good… "I doubt Chef would want to hear a pome Naruto." Gwen said with a sigh and a look at her diary… "you never know unless you try Gwen. Sides' talent is found in the most unexpected ways and places. I'll let you think about it I got work to do." Naruto said with a wave and walked back to his project… Looking at her diary Gwen was unsure what to do. They needed four talents. but a pome? She highly doubted any were good enough to impress Chef but. Maybe Naruto was right. 'if we don't have enough iI'lltry but that's a big if.' Gwen thought with a nod.

Back with the two teams, we are just in time for Justen to put out a fire started by Beth. with all the girls there ogling him… snapping out of her trance "ok so we have me, Trent, and Justen…but we need four people… like yeah who else will be doing it?" Heather stated only to be interrupted by Katie and Saide getting a glare from Heather… "well I'll let you all figure that out I'm going to get ready" Heather said as she walked away pulling Lindsay with her.

As for the bass…" we got me with my violin, Jeff with his skateboard, DJ and his ribbons and I can't believe I'm saying this but Dunken with wood carving." Courtney listed off with jeff raising his hand for a high five just for it to be left hanging. While Dunken smirked at Courtney… "let's all get our stuff and get some quick practice for the challenge."Courtney said as Bridget was telling the guys she could stand on her hands for 20 minutes. Getting the guys to deny such a clam and making bets while those taking part in the challenge left to get their stuff.

With everyone meeting back up later after practicing a bit for the show. We see Chef and Chris walk onto the stage first to start the thing but all eyes was on Naruto's paint-stained pants. Getting confused looks to form everyone aside from Chef… "ok campers let's get this thing started judging the contest is our resident VJ, DJ, and rap legend. Grandmaster Chef." Chirs called out as the contest started with DJ who gave a very soft but masculine dance with ribbons till his feet got tied up and fell ending his performance. Getting him a score of two while Chris commented on it.

Next up was Justen who did a few poses then ripped off his shirt while sitting on a chair and then got drenched in water, with his ending it with a pretty boy smile. Which got him a four on the Chef-o-meter and Chris said that it was a hot performance…going up next was Jeff who got on the stage with an ollie then did a kickflip only to land wrong snapping his bored inhale earning a score of one from Chef while Chris snickered. Next up was Trent who sang a love song while playing his guitar which snagged the gophers about four points out of twinty.

For the bass, it was Dunken's turn who held a piece of wood and started to whittle it into the shape of a skull which surprisingly got a from Chef while Chris complimented the skill getting a huff from the punk…" this is just sad" Gwen said with a shake of the head as Heather came out with a stool and a book that a few campers recognized which those that did look at its own then back to the stage.

"Ok I was going to do a ballet recital but I decided to in sted read you all something," Heather said opening the book getting a glare from Gwen and Naruto…" ok so there are two guys at this shitey camp one's nice and saves me seats or muffins while the other goes out of his way to help everyone even if its kinda his job. I've seen him on the phone a few times ordering things like tan lotions, sunglasses, visors, and even first aids and other such stuff. Everyone here knows he's a hard worker and is hoping he gets his job as the host of another season of the crummy show. They are both nice, I'm not usually fonded over but because of these two I'm feeling like I could date either one. Good thing will never be read." Heather went on telling Everyone what was on the page. Not just to the campers but the cameras on her. Needless to say, they were all shocked speechless.

Thankfully Chef didn't approve cus all HEather got was a one bringing gopher to a nine out of ten on the scoreboard… Naruto walked out on stage and snatched the book from her with a glare only for her to smirk. As he was headed for the stares Gwen came up them and Said shed go next, despite it being Courtney's turn, taking her book from Naruto with a thank you. she sat on the stool that Heather left and sighed out before starting.

"The days go by fast, yet Hearths such an ass. Read my Dairy all you like to be ready for a fight. This game we play will come to an end someday, I'll have those watching my back but all you'll have is a sack. Not of money, jewels or gold but of hate mail while you grow old and frail…thank you: Gwen said making up a pome on the spot and taking her book with her began to leave the stage only to hear the Chef-o-meter to ding and the others to gasp taking a look she was shocked. She had gotten the highest score with a flashing Nine on the bored she just smiled as she left.

"Damn now that's a hell of a burn right there," Chris said only for Naruto to laugh "No Chris that wasn't a burn that was ART. hahaha," Naruto says and starts to laugh more. Getting nods from all the aside from HEarther who was steeming…

As it stands the gophers have nineteen while the bass has nine thanks to Dunken's carving now it was up to Courtney to show her skill in the violin only to be shocked when a stage light fell and destroyed her violin hearing an oh crap from the side with Bridget and the guys coming over to see if she was ok… " well themes the breaks in show busy. Hehehe, edge gopher." Chris said with a chuckle as he walked away… the only ones left who could try for the bass were Taylor, Izzy, And Herald. So the bass accepting the loss let herald go only for all the to be shocked speechless as he beatboxed to victory with eleven points. Making the final score gophers at nineteen and the killer bass at twenty.

After they all left Naruto walked to the mess hall to wait on all the campers and to start filling out papers like one would for a job. But this wasn't for that in sted they would be pinned to the bulletin board outside… they were personal tasks any camper could do to earn a bit of token' he had ordered made and delivered with his own money for the newly built shop. He'd been getting all the stuff for it since three two days ago when he talked with Chef about a way to encourage the camper. He full-on agreed to say anything to whip those maggots into shape is a good idea.

He has seen that later in the season they were going to have a tuck shop for the winners of a challenge then it go to waste after so he built it ahead of time and got all the stuff and a currency that the campers could earn if they want… speaking of camper here they come now…"And I'm telling you there should have been no way herald could beatbox like that" Dunken said while Herald smiled proud of himself…" come on Dunken you have to admit the guys got skill… kinda" Jeff said while scratching his head under his hat.

"I'm more pissed at that Heather. Yall don't read a girl's diary on tv that is such bullshit. She should be kicked for the show for that stunt." LaShawna said with a growl… "yeah that was weak but you got to admit Gwen burned Heather something fierce with that pome. hahaha. I still remember Heather's's face it was priceless." DJ said then laughed at the end with the others beside Heather who glared at everyone.

After they all got their dinner from the chef who stared hard at Heather. They all sat ready to eat till they noticed Naruto who explained what the papers were for and held up one of the tokens which was a smooth piece of wood with a swirl design engraved on it. He also said that inside is a chip to authenticate it. Getting a grumble from Dunken while Naruto smiled.

Standing up with the paper Naruto walked to the bar. "Ok since you all know what the papers are for. I'm going to start posting them on every rest period, you don't have to do them but starting tomorrow the build you all saw name Kaze shop will be selling things that can make you stay better such as spray-on tans for Lindsay or soda, snakes, and even specialty items for each person or gender…if you don't know what I mean then don't ask, and no there are no rubbers or pills… now the tasks that can get you tokens are a wide variety some giving you multiple others giving you one or two. The basic tasks such as cleaning the mess hall will give you two while others such as cleaning the communal bathrooms with get you five. The papers say the task and how many tokens you can get… I'll have them posted first thing in the morning so early risers get the first pick to keep that in mind… there will also be personal tasks for each of you that will play to a weakness of yours like Owen and running or Bridget and the woods… So you all know I'm very observant so I can tell when you shy away from something. I'll see the gophers at the fire pit later for the fire ceremony till then enjoy yourselves and talk to each other." Naruto said with authority as he then left to get the fire pit ready for later.

After Naruto left the mess hall everyone got to gather from each team to talk about what kind of things were in the Kaze shop and how much it cost them. As well as what other kinds of tasks there were…

Later firepit ceremony

We find our gophers at the fire pit while Naruto is tending to the fire and putting the lass in it to make a wood tippy. While Chris stood at the podium with a tray of marshmallows… "ok campers the dreaded campfire ceremony you all cast your votes now those staying are….Gwen, Trent, Lindsay, Cody, Beth, Katie and Sadie, Owen, Lashawna… the final marshmallow goes to" Chris said holding off on the last name to build suspense…" just hurry up we all know who leaving" Heather said while looking at her nails…"Justen, I think this is wrong but the last mellow goes to Heather" Chris said getting shocked looks from the other campers while Heather smirk in pride…" let's go Justen, and before any of you think no Heather didn't rig the votes sorry to say this but she is playing fair." Naruto said standing up and grabbing Justen's bag with Justen following him to the boat while the others sighed walking away from the fire…
