2021 Update:

It's been a long time since I've been able to write and post.

First came the pandemic and shut-downs. Turns out I have an essential job. Yay! As 2020 progressed the inevitable happened: someone at the office got the virus (we work with the public). This person was not only my coworker, but also my best friend. Sadly, she confused the symptoms with a pre-existing condition. By the time she was confirmed covid positive, it was too late. We'd all been exposed. In the end a total of four of us got covid. I thankfully didn't have respiratory issues and just felt shitty for weeks while quarantining at home (no one in my home got it, thankfully). Sadly, my friend/coworker passed away after a 3 month battle. A total of three people lost their lives in that family from the virus. It was definitely difficult to try and return to normalcy after such a loss. To this day I still look at her desk hoping to see her sitting there.

Then just as I thought things were starting to return to normalcy in early 2021, life had a funny way of saying 'nope!'. I was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago. So yeah, it's been quite a crazy ride. Thank you 31!

I've been able to write here and there and hope to start updating the Plum stories in progress as my energy permits.
