It's another update on the bio! Finally! Rejoice! Or not. Eh. Whatever. So, yeah, now you can read all the new and not-so-new stuff I put in! :D

Well, my name is Samantha, and I'm in high school. I honestly feel like I've been there forever. Oy. When's summer coming? ;.;
And, I'm short. I hate being short. Oh, oh! And I play trumpet in band-- WHOO, go trumpets! ^.^ And I'm getting bored writing about myself! So there!

Ahem. Moving on, I write a varied selection of fanfics, most dealing with Harry Potter, Inuyasha, Lord of the Flies, and Final Fantasy games, as you can probably tell. I also have quite a few works in progress for many of those fandoms, too. Of course, if the urge to write another type of fan-fic strikes, I'll surely post one up. ^-^

Moving on to fan fic preferences. I'll stick with my favorite [and least favorite] pairings in order. For the likes, my favorite ship comes first and then so on, and for the dislikes, my least favorite ship comes first and so on.

Harry Potter - Eagle likes: Ron/Hermione, Tom/Ginny, Harry/Draco, Ginny/Harry.
Harry Potter - Eagle can't stand: Draco/Hermione, Hermione/Snape, Draco/Ginny.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 - Eagle likes: Rikku/Baralai, Auron/Rikku, Baralai/Yuna, Tidus/Lulu, Shuyin/Yuna.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 - Eagle can't stand: Tidus/Wakka, Baralai/Nooj.

Inuyasha - Eagle likes: Miroku/Kagome, Inuyasha/Kagome, Sesshomaru/[older] Rin.
Inuyasha - Eagle can't stand: Inuyasha/Kikyo, Miroku/Sango [don't EAT me. PLEASE. X.X; I just don't.. ..really like it. At all.]

Fruits Basket - Eagle likes: Shigure/Tohru, Hatsuharu/Tohru, Yuki/Tohru, Kagura/Kyo.
Fruits Basket - Eagle can't stand: Gasp! None on my hatelist yet! XD

A note on these, even though I didn't include others, that doesn't mean I won't read a Tidus/Yuna, or a Harry/Hermione occasionally. I just listed the ones I'm most likely to read, and the ones I generally won't bother reading unless they're said to be good.

Works in Progress

Definitely Going to Happen/Under Way:

The Reason - Inuyasha; Miroku/Kagome songfic. Miroku really screws things up this time, just when Kagome thought her heart was set on him. But can the womanizing monk to put aside his lust for other women, and change for her?

The Words I Feel (?) - Harry Potter; Either going to be a Tom/Ginny songfic with that title, or a non-songfic Tom/Ginny fic. Difficult pairing to write; may take a while. XD

Undertone - Harry Potter; that Harry/Draco fic I was supposed to write for Christmas. MUST get it done sometime.

Nameless for the moment - Spirited Away; set a few years after the movie. Sen was never able to return to the real world, and remains working at the Bath House.

Considering/Probably Going to Write:

Group Therapy Sessions II - Harry Potter; Hah! Self-explanitory; a sequel to GTS. :D

Carry On My Wayward Son - FFX; Seymour songfic, titled after the song it features, from the viewpoints of either Seymour's mother or father.

And That Meant Tidus - FFX; A Tidus/Lulu fic, where Lulu struggles to get her feelings right about Tidus.

Dare You To Move: For the person who asked, the song is call 'Dare You To Move,' and is by Switchfoot. And for others a bit miffed about the ending, this was a one-shot, plot-bunny inspired, thingy. I doubt I will write a sequel, I just had to get it out of the recesses of my brain and into a short story. XD
Moved a lot of things around in planning and underway lists up there. Nothing too big.

Because I'm in a romantic-y mood at the moment, I feel like making a small section for a pairing from a fandom that I'd like to promote. ^-^ Hopefully, I'll get around to changing this every once in a while. This time, the pairing is Tom/Ginny from Harry Potter!
Why you should go read a Tom/Ginny fic: Now, everyone knows, in every fandom, that there are good fics and there are bad fics. It's unavoidable. No matter which fandom you run loose in, no matter which ship you sail, they're out there. But in some areas, these bad fics are a little less common. I think I've found this while looking around for Tom/Ginny fics. I'm currently a bit obsessed with the pairing, so I've been scouting around for fanfics, of course. And I realized that this is a really difficult pairing to write. You have two characters that are more minor than anything. Sure, we see a lot more of Ginny than we do of Tom, but it's not a whole lot to be able to really know Ginny, like you would know Harry. Whether AU, during CoS, after CoS, whenever it's written, Tom/Ginny is a very difficult pairing to write. The two personalities are very separate. Tom is scary, and well, Ginny is not. Quite the opposite. Tom is manipulative, and Ginny is far from that. Making a successful romance fic out of this ship is difficult. Their relationship is bound to be intense. I can't really explain it, but I have so much respect for T/G authors. There are such great Tom/Ginny fics out there. I can't really convey what I mean here, but when you read a good T/G fic, you'll understand what I mean. This pairing is so awesome, now go read a fic! The Eagle commands you! O.o;;;
