Chapter 1
It was the first day of classes for Tori in Hollywood Arts, thanks to the fact that in the great presentation of said school she impersonated her sister, thus she became known about her new talent as a singer. It was strange that a student would enter in the middle of the second semester but since it was Hollywood Arts nobody paid attention to her. The brunette was nervous because it was her first day at a school where everything was different at first glance. But that didn't worry her much, she was already weird by nature.
—Calm Tor. —Trina said, looking for a way to calm her sister's nerves.
—It's normal, I'm new. —Said Tori.
—I know but even I can feel your nerves. —Said the older brunette.
Tori apologized to her sister because she knew that despite everything she told Trina she knew how she felt about her. She slowly entered the new performing arts school, she went to her locker depositing some of her things, and then went to find her classroom. In the course of her search, she had come across a ventriloquist who was beaten by his puppet and a laughing redhead, the two were friendly at least she had started well on her first day or so she thought. Upon entering the room due to her nerves she bumped into a cute boy spilling some coffee on him, she tried to apologize but she was only making it worse.
—Get away from MY boyfriend. —Yelled a black-haired woman who was entering the room, Tori was scared at the scream, her ears were very sensitive but she forgot that when she felt the aroma of coffee with wild berries that emanated from the goth girl's body.
—I'm sorry, it was an accident. —The embarrassed brunette apologized, the black-haired woman had made her more nervous than she already was and she was not liking that at all.
Between fights, the crazy teacher who loves coconuts came to the classroom putting a little order. He began with the class saying some things about improvised acting but the brunette could not concentrate on the scent of the black-haired woman reaching her nostrils, confusing her mind. She came out of her trance when she heard that the black-haired woman said her last name and to wait more she went up on stage to do whatever they were doing with her, she had not paid any attention.
She tensed when she felt how the goth girl took her arm and gently led her out of the room and then asked her to wait there until she called her. She obeyed what the goth had asked her, wait and wait until Jade arrived and told her that she could come in, she was surprised when she presented her as a dog to the class but what angered her was when she called her a flea and emptied a coffee on top her head, the fury in the brunette was evident seconds later, it seemed strange to everyone that Trina would arrive a little agitated.
—Tori. —Trina called in a demanding tone.
Trina had felt the changes in her sister's mood that it was possible to feel some changes by a blood bond, being sisters they would always be connected.
—I didn't do anything. —Tori replied quickly, Trina noticed the smell of coffee on her sister's body.
—Sikowitz allows Tori to come with me so that she can change, please. —Trina asked kindly why she dislodged everyone in the room. The older brunette never behaved so kindly but perhaps she behaved that way for her sister.
—Okay. —Replied the coconut lover in confusion, a coffee-soaked Tori, a Jade with an evil smirk on her face, and a kind Trina was a lot to him.
The Vega sisters left the room.
—What happened? —Trina asked seriously.
—I accidentally spilled a little coffee on a boy. Apparently, he is the boyfriend of the girl called Jade, she got angry with me. The teacher told us to do a performance, she introduced me as a dog in front of everyone, she called me a flea and spilled coffee on me. — Tori explained, irritated.
—Mmm I didn't expect less from the Wicked Witch of the West.
—Trina. —Said Tori, annoyed.
—Do not be angry, she is like that, try not to place importance on what she tells you so that you will avoid unnecessary anger and me from leaving class to avoid doing something stupid.
Tori nodded but sometimes her instincts and anger got the better of her so it was hard for her to calm down, after a few minutes the half-Latina returned to class, already with her clothes changed and as expected there was some tension in the air due to what happened. previously.
The classes were passing quietly while the brunette adapted to her new school. Although that was going to be difficult everything in that place was very, very different from her old school Sherwood. Soon it was time for lunch, the half-Latina went to the Asfalto Café, she took her lunch and started looking for a free table but she heard André calling her and inviting her to sit with them. There was Cat, Robbie, and André, the brunette accepted the offer since she did not know anyone else. A few minutes later Jade and Beck sat in front of the brunette, she seemed a little restless.
—Something is wrong Tori? —André asked.
—Mmm not nothing, why?
—You seem quite restless.
—I'm just a little overwhelmed because there is a lot of noise. —Complained the brunette with a weary face.
—It's normal, it's lunch. —Said Beck, smiling at the brunette, she just nodded at what the Canadian boy said.
Jade gave a withering look to the brunette who did not flinch as Trina had told her the less case she made her the more problems she would avoid herself and so she would. The day went quickly, everyone was heading towards her house.
…...
Two months after Tori's admission, the group had accepted her, although Jade didn't like the brunette at all, at least they could be sitting at the same table throughout lunch.
"That stupid Vega seems not to be afraid of me." Though Jade was lying on her bed, from the first day she had seen the brunette she had caught her attention, her brown eyes that perhaps in the light of the sun or the moon they would become honey-colored. Her cinnamon skin, for a moment she Jade chided herself for the simple fact of thinking about the brunette but she couldn't help it from the beginning. She was only thinking about the half-Latina and that was bothering her. She had chosen to call the half-Latina by her last name since everything but everyone called her Tori and she wanted to make the exception to that simple fact, she wanted to have a unique touch, to be different as she always was. During the classes they had together she had noticed that the brunette was observing her but not in a bad way, not with fear, much less with resentment for what she had done to her the first day, rather it was a curious and perhaps nervous look.
Jade got bored of thinking about the half-Latina, she wanted to clear her mind so she took out her camera, some pencils from 2H to 6B, some white pages, she put all that in her backpack, went down the stairs and as expected her father was not at home, she did not care to know where her father was because he did not care where she was, he left and without further ado got into her car, drove to the outskirts of the forest. She took out her backpack and began to walk, the moonlight was reflected in the darkness of the forest giving a quiet touch, the black-haired woman was not afraid of being alone in a place as lonely as that, on the contrary, she loved it made her feel in peace with herself, after spending all day fighting with people around her who made her mad, in that place she felt freer than ever, there she didn't have to pretend that she was fine, there she didn't have to pretend that she was strong. She didn't have to show her hateful face, there she was just herself. Nobody knew about the hobbies of the goth, not even her boyfriend for the simple fact that she did not want anyone to invade her space, for anyone to take away that moment where she stopped pretending.
She walked taking pictures of certain places which seemed the most gloomy for her taste, which would contrast with the black walls of her room. She walked until she reached a river, sitting on one of the huge rocks that adorned the place. She took out the blank sheets and pencils, without further ado she started to draw. The moon was reflected in the water, places like that inspired her not only to draw but also to write some of her horror scripts or suspense. She had been so focused on seeing the moonlight and the white paper that everything around her had ceased to exist.
She did not stop to look around her at any time but a certain noise made her come out of her trance. Jade looked everywhere but she sighed nothing, maybe some animal was nearby so she didn't care about it, she continued with her drawing until when she looked at the reflection of the water, her gaze took another direction, she got scared there was a bear near her. If she made any noise, it would probably attack it, so she looked for a way to get away a bit but then a branch made a noise and the bear was approaching it.
Jade thought that maybe that would be the end of her but she was more surprised to see a huge brown fur in front of her and it was not exactly the bear, rather it looked like a wolf. She was surprised to see that animal, it was rare to see them come out, but what took her out of her reverie the most was the large size of the wolf, apparently, it was not a common wolf "But who cares about the size, I'm about to die. If I had known I would bring me a video camera" thought Jade was a little amused just thinking of seeing herself recorded at the time of her death but she knew that it was not time to think about those things she had to leave the place quickly although she knew that she did not have high hopes. Now things had gotten worse according to her Jade, a bear and a wolf whatever she was she felt that that night was her last night.
She backed up a bit but fell backward, saw how the wolf growled at the bear, positioning itself in an attack mode, more and more it intimidated the bear with loud growls, barks, and signals that it was going to attack until the bear left the place. Jade sighed not because she was safe. The huge wolf turned around looking at Jade. She took out the scissors from her, she was not going to die without fighting before, but the wolf only lowered her head, and Jade stared at it surprised.
—Thank you. —Said the black-haired woman, not very sure, the wolf raised its head looking into her eyes. —I suppose you are one of the good ones. —She said later to proceed to put the scissors in her waist, the wolf approached the gothic slowly and carefully.
Already close to Jade, the wolf sat next to her sniffing her hand. The black-haired woman felt a little strange, well more than she already was, she never in her life thought that a wild wolf would save her from being eaten by a bear. Without fear she raised her hand to caress the beast that was close to her, on the part of it the huge brown stain lowered her head more to be caressed better, Jade smiled.
—Apparently, you like to be caressed. —Jade said more calmly, she only received a grunt from her new friend. Jade looked for a way to know the sex of her furry friend but she couldn't. That seemed strange to her. With everything there was, the black-haired woman decided it was time to go back but when she stood up she almost hit the ground again, not because of the wolf that stopped her.
—Thank you. —Jade repeated. —It seems to be the night of Jade's save. —She mocked herself, looked at her furry friend who with signs indicated that she got on its back. The goth doubted it a bit but after knowing that she was not going to get out of the forest without help she climbed on his back. —I hope I do not fall. —She commented, she only received another growl, apparently, the wolf had understood why she was going at a slow pace. The black-haired woman thought that perhaps she resonated better than a human because it listened to what she asked of her.
A few minutes Jade was already out of the forest, she wanted to go down but the wolf did not let her, Jade did not complain but the point was how she was going to get home if the animal did not know anything about her but the wolf was wrong in the middle of the night He took her home, the black-haired woman was surprised.
—This is weird. —Jade commented looking at her furry friend. —How do you know where I lived? —she asked later that the huge brown stain just lay on the ground covering her face with its paws. That action caused Jade to laugh sincerely after a long time. —Well thanks for saving me and bringing me home. —The black-haired woman said goodbye, she opened the door of her house completely forgetting where she had left her car, she turned around and saw that the wolf was still sitting there waiting for her to go in, she smiled to herself. A wolf she barely knew a little less than half an hour ago took more care of her than her family and her boyfriend.
Inside the house, she looked out the window watching the wolf leave her house, the goth was thinking about what the hell that had been. She recapped everything that had happened that night and hope to see her new friend again. She did not know why but she felt that she already knew the wolf from before. She went up to her room, she did not care if her father was there because she almost never did so she was used to being alone.
…..
Tori was arriving at the house she had gone for a walk after a long day of school.
—Where were you? —Asked Trina from the kitchen.
—Strolling.
—Mmm. —Trina pushed since she was taking the bread out of one of the cabinets. —Do you want something to eat? —She asked afterward.
—Sure. —Tori answered quickly, she went to the kitchen, there were a few times that Trina offered her something and when she did the younger brunette took advantage of it because on those occasions they could have conversations outside of school and stuff.
—Tori, you are friends with Cat. —Trina asked while she made some sandwiches.
—Yes, why?
—She's pretty. —Commented the older brunette, Tori looked at her sister with curiosity but there was the conversation.
—You like Lil Kitten. —Assured the younger brunette.
—She has caught my attention. —Trina let out, it was a long time since the redhead had caught her attention, she had caught her attention from the first day she entered H.A., but she had preferred to ignore it. Later on, she realized that she could not get that girl out of her head so she had decided to try something and see what happened, many people believed that she liked men but she did not. One because since she was little she always felt more attracted to women than to men and two because she had a male reproductive system, just like Tori, both had been born with a genetic complication.
—You want to talk to her. —Asked Tori.
—You think she will listen to me.
—Yes, why not?
—Well, I don't have a very good reputation at school, you know when they say Trina Vega, everyone runs away just like when they say Jade West.
—Just let her know what I know about you. —Began to say the younger half-Latina. —They all speak for what you show them just so that they can't hurt you but I know that Cat will not do it, just show yourself as you are and you will see that she is not going to ignore you. —Trina smiled at what her sister said. It was true that all that fame was so that no one could get past the wall that she had created herself so she did not get hurt. Previously, the Vega mayor had trusted someone and this person had hurt her too much to the point that she no longer trusted anyone but now that she heard her sister say that, she thought that maybe not all people were the same and maybe it was time to give a new chance, give Cat a chance if the redhead paid would see her and accepted her for who she was.
—I'll try. —Sighed Trina.
—Good luck. —Tori wished. —Talking to Cat is not difficult, you just have to be good to her as you are to me but remember the difference, I am your sister and she is the girl you like. —Added the younger brunette later.
—That I will not forget.
—Always keep it in mind and please don't make her cry.
—I won't. —Said Trina smiling.
—By the way, she likes candies. —Said the brunette going up the stairs, Trina smiled even though at school everyone thought they didn't get along with each other. Things were very different when they were at home.
—Tori be careful with Jade, she will not be your friend so easily, many people have played with her feelings. —The older brunette let out, Tori nodded at what her sister said. —And do not tell her that you are a wolf. —Trina added, she had felt the smell of Jade impregnated in her sister's body, she knew that nothing had happened beyond a small touch or perhaps a hug, although she doubts that the Wicked Witch of the West had hugged her sister, the hatred that supposedly came from her would not allow it. Jade had pride and did not allow her to show her true feelings but what the older brunette felt very sure about was that her sister and the goth girl had been together.
—I won't do it yet. —Tori said before continuing on her way to her room.
