Alright this will be my second longest chapter I have ever written. I hope you guys enjoy the 2nd to last part of the maze!
Calvinhobbesliker: Thank you the interactions were fun to write so stay tuned for more of them and yeah the Five Overs were pretty tuff but not strong enough for them. Oil man has ties way back to Accelerator so i suggest you don't let him slip through your head.

Inside the cave a blonde haired boy was currently digging looking for clues or any type of passageway to get out of this horrid maze he grabbed a small shred of rock and started to smash it on top of the ground repeatedly.
''Ugh this is gonna take forever we are running out of time we gotta get back to the others.'' The blonde haired boy turned around to see another spiky haired boy staring at the wind. ''Eh? Sogita-san what are you doing?''
The spiky haired boy spoke with a concerning look on his face. ''Earlier when I used my Guts to bust down all of the walls and we made it to this cave I felt an explosion coming from ahead. It looks like others have already reached the end.''
''Really?''
''It appears so I suggest we get moving too.'' Sogita replied.
Hamazura dropped the rock in his left hand and started walking with Soigta. ''I wonder how Takitsubo is doing. I hope she has enough money. I'm sure I left my wallet there and I extracted some money so that should hold her over for a while.''
Just then the ground started to shake and large boulders started to roll headed in the boy's direction.
Hamazura immediately shouted. ''What the!?''
Sogita crossed his arms and did not move an inch. ''Stay behind me.''
Hamazura nodded and followed suit.
The boulders were closing in until they finally clashed with Sogita's body sparks flying throughout the air. The boulders were trying to crush Sogita but the boy's body was harder than maybe even steel.
''HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'' Sogita screamed and that caused the boulders to shatter.
Hamazura's jaw dropped he didn't think Sogita could be so strong even though he is ranked at the bottom even Mugino has to use her meltdowner in order to blow up rocks Sogitta just had to scream.
''T-Thanks for that your really strong just for the 7th.''
''Eh its nothing I don't really care for ranks if people have the courage and the guts to stand up and fight that's all that matters to me.'' the boy replied.
Hamazura stared at his hands while it was true he was a level 0 the lowest of the low he had been in situations no normal espers could withstand he even defeated Mugino and was able to survive fighting the #1.
A loud crack formed in the ground and Hamazura was pulled in ''Agh!'' the boy almost fell down until Sogita grabbed his left arm with his right.
''Hold onto me.''
Sogita did not even fall when the ground was split, he simply stood still no he was standing on thin air.
''What the hell is this even possible? How many scientific laws are you gonna break?!''
''With Guts anything is possible including this!'' Sogita jumped off of the thin air and dashed through the cave at very fast speeds. Hamazura was holding on for dear life; it felt like if he let go his body would be destroyed from the impact.
Along the way they passed a few dead bodies previously spotted by Kamijou Touma but Hamazura was moving so fast he didn't see anything but Sogita saw it clearly and thus a vein popped from his forehead he was angry.
They finally stopped at a nearby elevator; it seemed to have been used since their switch had been forced down.
Hamazura could finally breathe again when he turned over to Sogita he saw a concerned yet furious look on his face. ''What's wrong?''
''Damn them they are using humans for their experiments they have no Guts at all they think they can use people for their own purposes without reasoning I will show them what true Guts are!''
Hamazura was furious at that statement as well. This was not a game, it was life or death. Once they got all the information they needed they would dispose of him and he was not about to let that happen.
They both said in unison. ''We are going to end this!''
In the corner part of the maze on the surface a tall girl with soft tea-colored hair was walking blowing up walls. ''Agh this is annoying, these damn researchers are starting to piss me off with all of these walls!''
Coming up behind her a girl with starry-eyed girl with honey yellow hair was walking. ''Ugh you and the rest of them are too forceful absolute meatheads.''
Mugino gave Misaki a disgusted look. ''Oh please I don't want to hear this from the entitled middle school girl.''
''This coming from someone that has all the good body features yet is hiding away from the public. Looks like I took your spotlight before you even had the chance.''
''Ugh to think I would care about something like that.''
The two exchanged an intense glare. They clearly disliked each other but compared to Misaka, Misaki did not hold that much of a dislike compared to Mugino.
Mugino sighed and continued to walk while Misaki followed behind her.
''My power is not suited for battle. I would try and bend her to my control but I can tell her guard is up she would kill me before I had the chance.''
Mugino continued to walk until she stepped on what looked like an entrance into somewhere from below. ''Well it looks like those ''meatheads'' made me an entrance how kind of them''
''I'm sure they weren't thinking of someone as careless as you…'' Misaki replied.
Mugino ignored the girl and stepped down the broken rocks slowly surprisingly she did not even need to climb down she just walked.
Misaki tripped on a rock and fell directly on her face non elegantly. ''OW!'' Mugino gave her a disgusted look again but she decided to ignore her and move along the path. Eventually they reached the midpoint section of the Cave and instead of going straight ahead like everyone else Mugino did something abnormal.
She created a beam of light in her palms and shot it on the right wall beside her creating a new path.
'' Wah? What are you doing you can't just punch a hole and make a new path it will just extend how long we are down here.'' Misaki stated.
''That's exactly what I did. I'm tired of walking in a straight line. I will make a shortcut instead.''
''She's so stubborn this is so annoying.'' the honey yellow haired girl thought to herself. While she was not particularly pleased going another route she knew no one else was around so she decided to follow suit and walk with her.
As soon as Mugino stepped in she created a small ball of light she could use it to see since it was so dark and damp. She wasn't particularly pleased she wasn't paired with Hamazura but Mugino also knew she could handle a ''brat'' like Misaki. She continued to move around some rocks with her meltdowner and clear more pathways. Everything was going fine until she stepped on what seemed like a liquid. ''Ugh what is this?''.
She shined her light ball on the ground and could see a trail of blood. It was fresh too since the smell wasn't as rotten yet.
Misaki's eyes widened. ''W-Wha... ''
Mugino's tone became more cold and sinister. ''It looks like someone or something died down here.''
''Will you quit stating the obvious, what are we supposed to do now!?'' Misaki was in severe distress as she could not believe what she had seen.
''Shut up brat I need to clear this out.''
''Clear this out, are you crazy?''
Mugino ignored her and created two light beams in her hand and placed them on the ground, dispersing the blood around her and causing it to splatter on the outside wall instead of the inside wall they were currently standing in.
She continued to walk further and further while Misaki was debating trusting Mugino; she had her instincts that told her she wouldn't survive if she was alone.
She gulped ''This is crazy but I have to keep going. I can't stop here.'' She was reminiscent of Kamijou Touma, the boy who saved her. She was determined to live, she had made her decision and now she was going to action.
Meanwhile in the Researchers lab that was in the upper level compared to the lower level that the Maze was created in.
''So what do you think we should do now? They found out about our previous experiments and they are most likely trying to find us even faster.'' someone spat out.
''He's got a point, they are level 5's after all and Imagine Breaker's holder can affect our entire plan drastically.''
These two researchers looked directly at a surprisingly tall man sitting in a high top chair. He wore a black leather suit with a white tie and laced tennis shoes. He had black hair and a scar on his left eye. ''Not to worry the plan is going accordingly after all this is to gain information to surpass Academy City right? If anything happens we will use that. Of course this is our last option and I want to stay weary of that magician who warned us about it.''
The other two researchers turned back to their monitors to watch all of the participants and the tall man gave a smile. ''Show me your resolve.''
Back in the cave near what seemed like the end of the entrance.
A white haired boy along with a slightly brown haired and handsome boy were walking and they stumbled upon a trail of blood.
''Ugh.'' Accelerator had a disgusted look on his face.
Kakine, also known as Beetle 05, gave a glance with the same disgusted look on his face. ''It would seem we are not the first test subjects of these researchers.''
''The more I walk in this maze the more pissed off I become.'' Accelerator spat out.
''Well well well to think I'd be the first to face off against the number one and i just finished slaughtering some extra's.'' someone said in the cave in front of them.
Accelerator and Kakine gave a glance at the same time.
A woman was walking towards them. She had what looked like a winged jet pack along with a toy looking lightsaber in her left hand. She had brown eyes and blonde hair. She was surprisingly beautiful as well.
''And who are you exactly?'' Kakine asked.
''Call me Elania or Category 505 is what they assigned me or you can call me by my killer name *Nightmare*''
Normally anyone who hears the word nightmare would be intimated but the number 1 and the number 2 just stared at her with unamusement.
''Think of this as a test run if you beat me you can pass if not you will die but since your level 5's i have no intention of holding back.''
Accelerator gave a smirk while cracking his neck to the side. ''I'm running out of patience today but if you think you can lay a finger on me then go ahead and try don't blame me if you lose an arm from it.''
''Oh-ho? If that's what you really think then I will show you my power.'' Nightmare replied.
''Zadkeil! Boost 5000!''
Her winged jetpack started to glow and she dashed at surprisingly fast speeds she was going about mach 2.
She was headed in Accelerator's direction; he did not move either; he stood there glaring at her waiting for her to strike. But then she made an odd action she closed the gap between her and the boy and immediately increased her speed beyond what she orignallly had and came from behind Kakine.
''Tch'' Kakine immediately ducked and held out his left palm.
''HA!'' She raised her left hand and her sword began to glow yellow. It was so hot it would burn the skin of any living thing it touched. She swinged it at Kakine's neck
The clash caused a gust of wind to blow most of the rocks out of the cave.
She struck him. He should be dead right?
''Was that all you could do?'' Kakine replied.
The sword was caught by his left hand but wait no his left hand wasn't a normal hand anymore he infused it with Dark matter to withstand the attack.
He then crushed the sword with his bare hand.
Nightmare leaped back. ''Shit that Dark Matter of yours is trouble.'' Nightmare grabbed her sword and this time she pointed it towards Kakine directly and muttered. ''Zadkiel Blast 5000!''
Her sword bursted with red looking energy aimed in Kakine's direction.
''Don't underestimate a level 5'' he replied and he created 6 pale white wings from behind his back and the wings deflected the blast to the left wall causing a quarter to form.
Nightmare was getting furious. ''Okay now I'm mad!'' She was beginning to reform her sword and attack but then someone whispered behind her.
''Dumbass you let your guard down.''
''Agh!?''
Nightmare was kicked into the back wall in the cave her winged shaped jetpack was heavily damaged from the cause of impact.
''Who kicked me?''
''Yo''
The monster stood straight in front of her, bending his back a bit to glare directly in her eyes.
Nightmare's furory began to subside and it slowly but surely turned into fear as the top ranked esper was staring at her with an absurd but a very scary look on his face.
Accelerator signed and pointed his finger at her forehead. ''I'm in a bad mood but I will give you one last chance to get your life right. You either leave here or I will turn you into a popsicle''.
Sweat came dripping down Nightmares face she felt like if she would move her soul would be sucked out of her body.
''You have 10 seconds.''

''Shit shit shit what do I do? It was idotic of me to even think of facing the top two espers of Academy City. I can't do anything to them, they are way too strong!''

At this point Nightmare's eyes were slowly turning red to over 300% stress. The heat of her body was abnormal and she could not move a limb; it was like she was paralized but 10 times worse.

''!''
*BOOM* a loud explosion erupted.
Accelerator and Kakine shifted their gaze for 2.3 seconds.
''NOW'S MY CHANCE!'' Nightmare immediately pulled a locked trigger on her jetpack causing it to roar and it immediately blasted upwards causing Nightmare to literally hit her head on the top of the wall while digging upwards and shooting to what looked like back to the top of the maze.
''Tch'' Accelerator clicked his tongue.
Nightmare stuck out her tongue at the level 5's while saying. ''See ya losers!''
''NOT SO FAST!'' someone said from the shadows of the explosion that just occured.
Someone shot up faster than the speed of sound headed straight for nightmares.
''WHAT?!'' she shouted.
The boy finally approached her and he raised his fist ''Running away like that you have no Guts at all I will pump some into you!''
Sogita Gunha clenched his fist and shouted. ''AMAZING PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!'
Sogita's fist was slammed into Nightmares chest and she was sent flying downwards and crashed into the floor of the cave. The rocks caused the cave to be closed off.
Nightmare lost consciousness as soon as she hit the ground.
Sogita landed crouching his feet causing a small quake due to his landing. ''Agh I feel much better now.''
''What the hell did you have to bring all that loud ruckus with you?'' Accelerator spat out.
''While it was indeed loud at least it dealt with the problem at hand.'' Kakine added.
''Ah sorry when I let my Guts out I kinda forgot to pull my punches a bit.''.
Accelerator signed in annoyance then asked. ''Where's your groupmate?''
Sogita didn't even turn around; he simply pointed his thumb to the back of him. When the dust cleared Hamazura was slowly walking out. He coughed a bit but was lucky to be alive at the same time. ''I thought I was gonna die…''
Accelerator clicked his tongue. ''Tch well well if it isn't the shitbag.''
Hamazura defended himself. ''Oi I have a name ya know its Hamazura and don't forget it!''
Accelerator gave a smirk and turned the other way. ''Whatever, if your business is done can you just go already?''
''Ugh'' Hamazura replied.
''Actually while i was blasting my Guts around we ran around the entire cave except this part so I think it's our only exit''
Accelerator was annoyed already as it is and now he had to join up with those two the day could simply not get any worse for him.
The four walked off into the final section of the cave hoping to find the exit.
Meanwhile above the Cave and back on the main floor.
A spiky haired boy was reading a message on his phone that said ''Meet me at the back entrance.''. The boy sighed and stood up and decided to walk his way there. Earlier he and Misaka Mikoto split up to cover more ground although he did not particularly like the idea the girl said it would be fine as they can still contact each other.
Kamijou placed his hands on one of the walls. ''They are so thin, no wonder it was so easy to break.''
''Ara Ara don't worry, for the next test everything will be 10 times sturdier'' a voice rang out from behind him.
The figure was a woman. She was one of the researchers sitting in the office. She had blonde hair and purple eyes and was wearing a leather jacket with tight jeans. She seemed to have something in her hand. It was like a red marble.
Touma immediately turned her attention to her. ''You're one of the researchers right?''
The woman nodded her head. ''So what if I am?''
''I'm going to stop you that's what.''
''Ha that confidence won't benefit you at all my name is Melissa by the way it's a pleasure to meet the wielder of Imagine Breaker''
''Can't say it's likewise.'' the boy replied
Melissa gave a carefree smile. ''Well then how about we get this started shall we!?'' Melissa threw the red marble that was in her hand straight at Kamijou.
''Geh?'' Kamijou immediately dogged it in just the nick of time; he has been more weary of attacks lately if he were to mistakenly try to use his right hand but the attack was a natural force he would be killed.
The marble shined a bright red color then exploded.
''My ability allows me to make anything I touch explode. These marbles help me regulate it so when I touch something It doesn't immediately explode''.
Melissa threw another marble at Kamijou and it exploded right in front of his face but before it could reach it he blocked it with both arms. ''Gah!''
Melissa grabbed 5 balls and threw them all simultaneously and fast at that. Kamijiou ducked to dodge the first two and twisted his body to the right to dodge the 3rd but the 4th and 5th nailed him in the stomach.
Kamijou got back up again with bruises all over his body. While it wasn't pleasant, he was still standing and he was not flinching.
''You still want more? Fine then try this!'' Melissa shouted. She threw another marble at the boy but this time he made an odd action.
''Eh?''
Kamijou clenched his right fist and grabbed the ball in his hand then he planted his feet on the ground and aimed for Melissa's chest. ''Oh Shi-''
He threw it directly at her chest and it exploded right in front of her. She crashed against a wall and due to the impact her back almost broke.
''Gah-''
''Come on that's just the first hit don't tell me your gonna go out like that!''
''Shut up, don't underestimate me boy!'' Melissa put her right and left palm on the ground ''EXPLOSIVE QUAKE!'' she shouted.
The ground itself exploded and all of the floor literally started popping and what followed was an explosive quake destroying everything in its path.
''If I destroy the ground then you won't have anything to stand on and you will be squished like a pancake you're finished!'' she had claimed her victory.
''...Eh?''
Or so she thought.
While she was blabbering Kamijou jumped as high as he could and luckily the explosion only grazed the tip of his back foot. He clenched his fist in midair and shouted. ''Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!''
His fish slammed into Melissa's face and she fell down. But before she fell down completely ''Agh fine then plan B!'' She placed one of her marbles on her left heel. ''Hope this works.'' the marble exploded propelling Melissa back up and she shot straight towards Kamijou's direction.
''What's with that quick reaction timing!?'' Kamijou shouted.
Melissa clenched her fist and aimed for Kamijou's face. ''Grh'' Kamijou dogged it luckily but the punch was only a distraction. Simultaneously Melissa grabbed another marble from her pocket and applied an extreme amount of force to Kamijou's stomach causing the explosion to be even more powerful. ''GAH!'' Kamijou was shot straight down and crashed on the ground.
Melissa caught a grip and landed down safely. ''Wow you are tuff for just a level 0 even if you wielded Imagine Breaker I didn't think your moves could be so swift like that.'' But when the smoke cleared there was no boy on the ground. ''EH!?"'
Kamijou sneaked up from behind her. He had a couple bruises but he was still standing. ''I don't know what happened to you to create these awful experiments but this is your only chance to make your life right Melissa!''
Melissa clenched her teeth in response. ''You don't understand we are making history here. A few minor insignificant test subjects won't matter in the long run once our job is done we will reach a new revolution!''
''A new revolution? No one cares about that if you want to change something you don't do it by using other people's lives. That's not how you change the world for the better, that's how you make it worse!''
''In order to gain power you must sacrifice. That is the truth of the matter, but nothing in this life comes for free. When we achieve our goal we will bend the entire city to our will and change this society that has been corrupted. All we need is enough power to overthrow everything and everyone!''
Kamijou grunted. ''You have got it all wrong if you think you can reach the top of the food chain with that pathetic method by sacrificing innocent people you're not living your life correctly!''
''Close your foul mouth boy!'' Melissa replied. She grabbed two red marbles from her back pocket once again and aimed for Kamijou's foot.
''That's enough!'' Kamijou shouted while raising his left foot and kicking Melissa's jaw. ''GA-'' Melissa fell down on her back.
Melissa's stamina finally ran dry and she couldn't stand up. Kamijou walked slowly to her with a cocenerd but still furious look on her face. ''Tch'' she clicked her tongue ''Just finish me already…''
There was silence for a couple of seconds.
''No''
''Are you an idiot, why are you not finishing off your opponent who just lost? Are you missing brain cells or something?'' Melissa spat out.
''Even if you were rotten to the core I have no obligation to kill you. Besides, you can rethink your life and start from scratch. You can start by not hurting innocent people anymore.'' The boy replied.
Melissa's face started to shrivel then she gave him a grin. ''And if I don't change my way's?''
The boy turned around and started to walk off in the opposite direction. ''Then I'll stop you again and again and again.'' The boy had not turned his head nor his body; he was walking forward into a new future.
Back in the lower section of the cave.
''So what do you think your doing now?'' Misaki Shokhou, the 5th ranked level 5 asked Mugino Shizuri.
''The hell are you talking about brat?'' Mugino spat back at her.
''The darkside was destroyed by Accelerator so what's left of your life now surly still hiding in the shadow's can't be your endgame?''
Mugino gave her a disgusted look and replied. ''That's none of your damn business but I will have you know that I am expanding my reach even beyond this horrid city i will atone for my sins and before I die I will go back to the grave of a dear friend of mine but before that I'm going to do some major things to improve this toxic wasteland of a world.''
''Major things huh?''. Thinking about it clearly Misaki did not have an ulterior motive like Misaka,Kamijou,Hamazura and Accelerator Mugino included. She just wanted to live her life the best way possible. She had her clique in Tokiwadai and she wasn't interested in getting stronger or something along those lines. She just wanted a peaceful life where she would do whatever she pleases but if there was one goal to come to mind.
''Kamijou-san….'' The boy who saved her life and sacrificed his own memory for her wellbeing. ''I will spend time with him as much as I can in this life…''
While walking forward Mugino and Misaki came across what looked like a dead end. ''Ugh so we went all this way for nothing.'' Misaki was not athletic so she was already breathing very heavily.
''Well I guess I will just cut another wall ope-''
''WAIT- NO WE ARE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN!'' Misaki shouted.
But before Mugino could reply a green light bursted out of thin air and destroyed the wall behind them.
Mugino kicked Misaki to the side so she wouldn't get hit. ''Gah- did you have to be so ruff?''
''Oh please your deadweight when not fighting a human being so this is the best alternative for you.''
''Eh what do you mean not human?''
''Look over there'' Mugino pointed.
Misaki turned around to see big machine's no they were not just regular machines they were Five Over specifically the #4th ranked version of the Five Over's that's why they were able to replicate Mugino's blast power.
''It looks like it can replicate my ability.''
''That's because it's a Five Over's. It's a series of experiments and technologies formed by Academy City to replicate and exceed, hence the name, the powers of the 7 Level 5s. Even I had one.''
''Ah so this is what's left from the scraps alright then let's see how these punny machines stand up to the original!''
A moment later, a brilliant beam of light surged outward and tore through one of the Five Over's structures thus it created a hole in the center and a moment afterwards it exploded.
More Five Over's came over and they had large cannon's on the back of their shoulder pads and they fired the same type of energy mugino does over 50 beams were shot at the same time.
''Tch'' Mugino created 10 large green particles and waved them all around in a circle and it created a big gigantic beam. ''Take this!'' She shot the beam straight at the Five Over's and the beams clashed creating a big gust of wind.
''Eeep!?'' Misaki yelped and stood even farther back to get out of the range.
Mugino was actually for once struggling her power as a level 5 was great but against hundreds of Five Over's that used the same power? It was even too much for her but she did not falter; she refused to accept defeat. ''Agh dammit.'' Mugino ducked to the side avoiding the blast.
Simultaneously she created 3 beam orbs and put two of them on her feet and shot them causing her body to be propelled at high speeds directly towards the Five Over's direction.
''What is she doing if her blast can be overpowered, why would she be going at point blank range?'' But then Misaki realized she had answered her own question.
Mugino landed directly in the middle of the Five Over's and then raised her arms ''If I can't use long distance attacks I will use maxim force at point blank range!'' ''HA!'' a green light formed around her then it exploded causing a massive quarter everything in the radius was turned into dust.
Dust was all that was left and when it cleared Misaki could see Mugino walking back to her with a smirk on her face. ''Even if Academy City can replicate my power it will never beat the original.''
''Wow I'm surprised you actually won.''
''Never underestimate a level 5 brat anyways it's time to get out of here I'm getting impatient.''
''Yeah I can tell..'' Misaki thought to herself.
But then something was ringing in Misaki's ears. Something came out from the corners of the dust. ''She missed one…'' Misaki turned around and immediately shouted. ''Get down!''.
But it was too late the damaged Five Over commanded one last blast directly at Mugino and was only 10 inches off of her skin.
But
An orange light blasted and countered the Five Over's blast causing it to be redirected right back at it.
Mugino turned around. ''What the?''
Misaki was confused as well. ''Was that… a Railgun?''
When they both turned to the direction of the blast a brown chestnut hair girl came out and she was holding a coin in her left hand. ''Hello are you guys okay?'' It was Misaka Mikoto the 3rd ranked level 5 also known as Railgun.
When she walked through the dust she could see both of the girls at the same time and then gave them a disgusted look. ''Oh it's you two….''
''Great another brat my day can't get any worse.''
''Is this really how you should be treating the person who just saved your life after you left your guard down?''Misaka spat out.
''Oh please I could have dodged it easily so don't get overconfident Railgun.'' Mugino replied
''Sureeee you could have.''
Misaki stood up. ''For once I'm actually glad to see you here Misaka san.''
''Nice to see you too Shokuhou…''
Mugino clicked her tongue. ''So what are you doing here anyway? If you don't mind we are currently trying to get out of this horrid maze.''
''I actually already escaped. I was actually looking for some leftover machines because I sensed some radio noise but I guess I found you two I can guide you out.''
Mugino hated the idea of traveling with Railgun but at this point she'd do anything to get out of this maze so she nodded and followed. Misaki grabbed her purse and walked with them but before leaving she tipped Misaka's shoulder. ''You didn't do anything to my prince did you Misaka san?''
A chill ran down Misaka's spine. ''W-Wha? I-I Di-Didn't do anything of the sort we were just fighting together that's it! And besides, what does it matter to you!?''
''Oh nothing just making sure I could give him a reward later Tehehe-''
A bolt of electricity crickled through Misaka's bangs ''As if I'd let you.''
The three girls who all hated each other walked forward with no regrets.
Meanwhile in the section approximately 500 meters ahead of the girls the four boys were currently walking.
Hamazura Saige was getting uncomfortable due to the lack of silence so he decided to ask a question. ''Agh Sogita-san?''
''What's up?''
''How does your power work? You're able to run really fast and make explosions with your fist it's like you're one of those comic book superheroes.''
''Ahahahaha thanks for the compliment I used to read those books when i was younger that's when i got the idea for a cape but it wasn't the fact that the heroes were doing just good deeds that inspired me it was the Guts they had to stand up to the villians that is what impressed me.''
Sogita then moved his left hand to his center cheek and continued. ''Regarding my power, I was just kinda born with it. I once punched a wall and it just turned into dust after that I started stopping gang wars and other things. I think of it this way: my power is tied to my Guts. If my Guts are really strong then my power will be really strong. It all depends on how high I want my Guts to go then my power goes to that same height.''
''Eh!?''
Hamazura walked up to Accelerator and asked. ''Do you understand any of this?''
''Tch don't put your questions on my shoulders he's just a dumbass who hypes himself up all the time.''
''Eh, have you met him before?''
Accelerator sighed and continued. ''He walked up to me in a corner street assuming i was a ''bad guy'' and picked a fight with me of course I won but he did break my barrier somehow with his weird bullshit.''
''He was actually able to break through his barrier? Is his power is that incredible?''
''And I'm expecting a rematch too!'' Sogita proclaimed.
''Not looking forward to it…'' Accelerator replied.
Hamazura noticed a familiar face. ''Oh hey Beetle right?''
Kakine turned around. ''Oh right your Fremea's caretaker''
''Agh speaking of that I just wanted to thank you for your help before you were a lot of help during that situation.''
''Ah no problem thanks to your girlfriend,was it? I was able to separate myself from Kakine's will and become who I am today. I have a life now thanks to you so I am in your debit.''
''Ah don't mention it..''
A phone rang out from somewhere Hamazura immediately looked around to see it was coming from Accelerator's pocket ''Wait you have service here how the hell!?''
Accelerator ignored him and pulled it out then put it up to his ear. ''Hell-''
''Greetings number #1 it is a pleasure to finally talk to you even though it might not necessarily be face to face.''
Accelerator could feel a violent aura around his cell phone though he wasn't threatened by it in the slightest. '''I assume your the big boss around here.''
That was indeed correct. The man talking to Accelerator now was the man who orchestrated the entire project of kidnapping the level 5's and more; he wore a black leather suit and a white tie, he had a scar on his left eye and was the orchestrator of everything. ''Ah I suppose you could say that I am merely the one who came up with the idea but putting that aside you can call me Michael.''
''Before I come up to that locked lab that you're observing us in, what the hell do you want with us anyway?''
Michael chuckled about before continuing. ''That is simple. I want to absorb your powers. I want to recreate Academy City- no that wouldn't be right I want to create the world into my own vision where people like yourselves with extraordinary abilities will be the dominant race.''
Accelerator did not respond as he was even more annoyed now.
''The growth charts we have examined while you all have been fighting some of our test subjects have been heightened. All of you level 5's are extremely powerful indeed; it's like feeding food to cattle you have all grown so much stronger.''
''Seal our powers, you said how do you possibly expect to do that when we have been drugged from head to toe?''
''While it is true Academy City has put in a formula into your bodies it doesn't mean you will automatically receive your ability after all the true thing I'm after is- ''
''Our Personal Reality's.'' Accelerator responded as if already knowing what Michael was going to say.
''Precisely once I have taken that you all will be stepping stones to my triumph.''
As soon as Accelerator was about to respond with a cold hearted tone.
''However.''
''?''
''It seems there is one specific Esper no that wouldn't be the right world disturbance that I have summoned that might be able to ruin my plans.''
Accelerator could only think of one person.
''It would seem you know him after all you did seem to when you fought and lost earlier. That's right I'm talking about no one other than Kamijou Touma.''
''Of course their after the fucking hero nothing surprises me anymore.''
''It would seem his Imagine Breaker not only destroys the AIM fields it completely blocks one's personal reality and even if I absorb all of your power it would be of no use if he could simply negate my will.''
Accelerator could feel his heart stop at Michael's next words.
''So I have come up with the next best idea. I will have all of you kill him instead''
Accelerator's phone turned on the speaker. He was not the one who did it. It would seem the person on the other line did it himself like hacking it.
Everyone immediately jumped for a second at the man's words.
Accelerator's body tensed up and his emotions turned into utter furry. ''I decided to stop wasting lives. I'm done with that life but for today and only today I will use these bloody hands and I will add you to the collection of my bloodbath Michael!'' And he immediately crushed the phone in his hands.
Hamazura Sogita and Kakine were standing behind Accelerator. They could hear bits and pieces of Michael's voice but they heard his last statement loud and clear.
Accelerator then turned around. ''I'm going to kill that bastard you can either escape or go to hell I don't give a damn but one thing is certain I'm going to slaughter this entire experiment into ashes.''
Sogita had seen the bodies left by the researchers as they were discarded as nothing but ''failed subjects.'' thrown away as trash that made him angry so angry he wanted to punch someone so hard their face would melt off.
Hamazura and Kakine had no obligation to follow Accelerator; they could do whatever they wanted with their lives.
But
''If it means ending this horrid experiment I will fight to see the conclusion!'' the three all said in unison.
Accelerator clicked his tongue and moved forward. But before leaving he had a slight smile on his face.
Back in the research lab.
Michael was currently just finishing off his tea. Then he heard a knock at the door and a woman walked in. She was beaten up but still alive. ''Ah Melissa how did it go?''
''I don't understand…. He is just a human it's true he has imagine breaker but he was nothing more than a human….''
Michael cracked a malicious smile while asking. ''And?''
''And it seemed like he stood on a different level than me entirely….''
While it was true Kamijou Touma was not that strong physically he made up for that with his determination and his words his passion and his sheer will surpassed every single opponent he has ever faced in his life simply no one but him could do the things he does no one could still be sane after the things he has caused and dealt with in that sense he was unrivaled.
''Good'' Michael replied.
''Huh?''
''I just told Accelerator my ''plan'' on eliminating Imagine Breaker even if it was a slight bluff I'm glad to see it worked, of course he will be included to reach her even sooner thus not only luring him here but also the Imagine Breaker.''
''Do you honestly think you can defeat him?''
''Thinking back on it now, probably not even if I am wiser, the boy simply has way more experience than me in a 1 on 1 I will totally lose.''
''However-''
''?''
''If I were to gather the level 5's here and have them witness the boy commit the biggest sinful act, what would they think of him then?''
Melissa felt a chill fall down her spine. ''Sir, what do you mean by the biggest sinful act?''
Then a malicious smile cracked through Michael's mouth. ''Simple really what would happen If
i were to bring people who the level 5's cherish most other than Kamijou.''
''Do you mean you would kill them in front of the level 5's? But sir I don't see how this affects Imagine Breaker besides making him more determined to ruin our plans?''
''Oh heavens no I have no need to taint my own hands with their blood.''
''Then what did you mean by-''
''I will have their blood on his hands''
Melissa was utterly paralyzed at that statement.
''W-what?''
''Exactly what I mean is that I will have Kamijou kill the people precious to them and their mentalities of him will shift and in return we can begin phase 1 of my revolution.''
''Ehh sir he seems to be too kind hearted for such a thi-''
''That is precisely why I will break him mentally….''
Melissa's eyes were covered in fear, utter fear of the man she was currently staring at; it would seem the aura he gave off was suffocating.
''I know from a certain someone how he fought a Magic God and she successfully succeeded in almost killing him however it would seem his confidence came back even though he realized he caused all of the sin in the world his determination to live to fight for those he loved would remain.''
Michael continued with a cold tone. ''But I have come up with an alternative: I will make him the true villain. I will create a monster that is feared by God. I will create something so dangerous its existence could shatter the fabric of the universe. Kamijou Touma will kill his loved ones with his own hands…...'' A silence followed in the research lab.
''And when he realizes his sin he will end his own life….''
A true monster was going to be born and it wasn't going to be Michael…..

Hello everyone I hope you enjoyed Chapter 6.
Yes I have finally introduced the main antagonist of the fic and what a dark being he is. When I was thinking of a main antagonist I couldn't just think of the researchers themselves but not a man so dreadful in aspiration that he would rule the world with one arm.
I plan on adding a backstory for Michael to give you more depth to why his intentions are as they are and his true character.
You're probably thinking I have made the opponents for the level 5's too easy as they have been getting defeated quickly but rest assured this is simply a step before disaster.
Regarding Accelerator. Accelerator has gone through so many trials through his life he finally realizes what he wants to do with it he will move forward to protect his loved ones no matter the cost even if he was going to Hell. I plan to make him have a big scene by the end of my fic so stay excited for that.
Regarding the heroine's and Hamazura. I feel like I haven't given them the attention they deserved so I started to change that with this chapter before the big final battle. I plan on having individual chapters for them so I can go in more depth with them. I don't just wanna put all the light on Kamijou and Accelerator. As for Hamazura, his goal as of course is to reach Taktitsubo and I will have him face a great trial as well.
Regarding Kamijou. Once again Kamijou is the big wild card but this time I intend to do a whole lot more than what I originally wrote for him. What will our fellow do now if he will be corrupted into darkness?
For now this is the draft so everything isn't 100% assured yet but for now I suggest you keep closely on our fellow protagonist.
