UPDATE (11/14/2021)

Okay. Once again I really should have posted something earlier but life has a way of just distracting me. Still, I like to mention that I am currently in the middle of this year's National Novel Writing Month. I tried at the start to write out an interesting Starcraft II idea I had, but it kind of fell through after the first couple of days. Not to mention, my plan of focusing on my Macross/BSG Crossovers also fell through when I couldn't find a place to watch the new Delta Movie to get me into the mood to write Macross. Therefore, I started on another SEED Idea that I had and as of this posting I have about a chapter and a half-written for this new idea. Basically, the idea is "what if Caridad Yamato, you know Kira's Mom, wasn't just a simple meek-looking stay-at-home mom instead is actually from a military family". The idea was originally for Caridad to become a member of the Orb blue-water Navy but I have since changed it to her becoming a member of the recently formed Orb Space Defense Force. It also called for a sort of alternative point-of-view type story that kind of followed the original story but you all know me and I cannot help change things in a Gundam SEED story, so I have started to add some elements from my other main Gundam SEED stories to the overall larger story. What you may ask? Well, why don't you wait till I start posting the story? Anyhow. I hope to get a few more chapters finished and ready before I start posting. UPDATE (4/1/2021)

Grumble. Hello! Sorry about the lengthy wait for any message from me. I was going to write something here for a few weeks but something always came up to distract me. Okay. Now I am here. I am sure you are aware it had been a crummy year last year soon after my last status message I posted. No worries I am still around and COVID did not do anything to me at all. Still was quite a year therefore bearly managed to write anything in that time. Mainly some shorts and a massive amount of story ideas that I did over the summer last year. So no new stories, nor did I try to get back into my other uncompleted stories. Sigh. My Muse is really a fickle thing I am sorry to say. I can swing from say being excited by some sort of story idea that I had for Star Wars to thinking about something for one of my other stories all in a matter of days. So I do apologize to you all for that. Still, I shall see about getting back into the groove of writing something soon. Since we are now in April's National Novel Writing Month Camp so hopefully I can write something at least for this month's event. That said. I do believe that is really all I really needed to write. Hopefully, I won't be quiet for over a year again but I make no promises. Thanks for reading.

UPDATE (2/18/2020)

Groan. I was going to post this weeks ago but I kept forgetting about it or something else came up to distract me. Anyways. As some of my readers already known I discovered a new tool included with the newly introduce National Novel Writing Month Website that allows you to create new writing projects during the off season for NaNoWriMo. This will allow me to keep myself on the writing saddle sort of speak thanks to having a sort of deadline to follow preventing me from being distracted. If that makes any sort of sense to you all. Don't know if I am able to keep it up over the months but I am surely to try. I did this during the last couple weeks of December to test it out and then took a month off in January. February would then be the first month I am going to be doing these new story projects. I have set a 45k word goal for the project and I am currently around thirty thousand therefore fully intend to go past that goal as the month starts to come to a close. That said, this project has a couple smaller projects underneath it with a couple of short Fallout pieces I have done and a couple of Gundam SEED pieces are currently being done. When I am done with these pieces I shall post them in their respective places, the Fallout ones under my Wasteland Gazette collection, and the Gundam SEED pieces under my Garden collection. My plans for the months ahead are once again to take a months off into March and then April is the first Camp NaNoWriMo project of the year where I am going to setting a goal of somewhere around eighty thousand to a hundred thousand depending on a few things. UPDATE (10/25/2019)

Just a short little update today. I decided to update my Profile itself today. So there are some minor changes done to the profile itself. I also wanted to mention that unlike the last couple of years worth of NaNoWriMo project where I waited till after the end of November to start posting I am going to change that. Since I kind of didn't post anything for those projects due to a few issues I figured I should go back to posting the chapters as I finish them. So expect a new story sometime in early November. UPDATE (10/22/2019)

Jeez!! I almost went two entire years without doing an update. I am quite sorry about that, but real life and a few other issues kind of got in my way. Sigh. Anyways. This update is mainly focused on my National Novel Writing Month 2019 project, which is right around the corner. Originally. I had several ideas all swirling in my head, but I have since decided to just go with an old favorite, a total rewrite of my Macross/Battlestar Galactica 2003 story Lucky Miracle. It will include a more through Macross Crossover then just having a single ship being crossed over into BSG. I am also in the process of going through my last few NaNoWriMo projects and seeing about posting the few completed chapters for a couple stories I have been working on. So expect some brand-new stories dropping from me in the coming months. With that said. I do believe that is about it. Till next time. Ciao!

UPDATE (12/31/2017)

Well Happy New Year everyone! I do apologize since I had meant to update this a few weeks ago, but you know Christmas and Family stuff pile up and you kind of lose track of stuff. Anyhow. Moving on, Crescendo is now officially finished with twelve chapters and many are most likely wondering if I plan on moving onto the sequel but I am sorry to say that is not the case for I am going to see about moving away from Gundam for now. Not to mention disappointment on how I never managed to get into the "grove" of writing the mentioned Divergence rewrite. Therefore, I like to mention that I am moving to another Bandai Property Code Geass! This comes about after I finally managed to sit down and watch the entire Akito the Exiled Series and the recent annoucement of a Third Season of the main series. Right now. Not too sure on what I am going to focus on for I do have a couple ideas. However, I shall see about announcing it before I post anything. Is that it? No. One last thing to mention if you notice I am trying to get back into the writing groove for I have been quite upset over only really writing during the two Camp NaNoWriMo and the regular National Novel Writing Month in November, therefore, I am going to "try" to get back into writing. UPDATE (9/28/2017)

Well isn't that interesting deathzealot updated his profile with only a couple months after the last update? Aren't you all excited! Anyways. I mentioned this in the author notes of the latest chapter of Crescendo but some people may not have noticed it. That is I am expanding that story from my already written ten chapters of content up to twelve chapters. I hope you Crescendo fans enjoy that tidbit. Secondly, I have decided that for the November National Novel Writing Month that I am going to rewrite my Gundam SEED: Divergence Story. So fans of that story get ready for it is going to be a doozy. Hmmm... anything else. Oh! I recently took an interest in rewriting my Zoids New Century Awakening Story, but with little interest in the story I maynot repost here on FFN. However, if you do want to see what I have change or modified about the story. Head on to the Spacebattles forums where I have been posting it. Justing search for Awakening or even my Spacebattles name (deathzealotzero) and it shall come up. That is about it folks! Till next time!

UPDATE (8/02/2017)

Well crap! Once more, I have failed at updating my profile, but I have to say Real Life is quite a monster taking much of my time from both Fanfiction and Writing in General. True. I have mostly been focusing on short stories, along with a couple of really good story ideas that I ended up losing interest in continuing. My IBO Story may make a comeback when I rewatch that series sometime next year which I promised myself to do when that series ended. Black Flag I mentioned may get a Rewrite back in November (Gah!), and if I get bored enough over next few months, I may get back to that. Wait a sec. I didn't do an Update for November for NaNoWriMo. The heck? I screwed up I think. Oh well. /cough/ Moving on, speaking of NaNo (Why oh Why do I only really do my writing during the Main NaNoWriMo Event in November and during the two Summer Camps. Gah. I hope to throw this off soon), July Camp of NaNoWriMo recently came to a close with a completed story (Woah! I actually completed a story!) I did for Camp July. I posted the first chapter early this morning, and the next chapters shall only be posted when I give them a through Grammarly Check, a Rereading, and hopefully, a Beta Reader looking it through before a final re-reading. Till then these chapters are going to stay on my computer hard drive till then. I hope this won't take long but who knows. That said, I do believe that is it from me for this update. I want to get back into full-time writing but with Real Life and Distractions that maybe only a foregone hope. /sigh/ Anyhow, till next time folks stay tuned to this channel for more updates.

UPDATE (7/16/2016)

Dammnit! Not only have I been lax once again posting updates for my profile here, but I never even managed to post the shorts I wrote during the 2015 NaNoWriMo. I believe I posted them on other sites but I never got around to posting them here on FFN. Therefore, I shall start posting them in the next few days. With the first today or tommorow whenever I managed to get everything together to do so. On another note I am currently knee deep in July Camp NaNoWriMo where I am once again trying my hand at a Gundam story though I admit it is coming slower then I intended it to be. Lastly, the Wasteland Gazette which I only recently posted had been my project for the April Camp NaNoWriMo. I shall be posting that as well in the coming days. Again please review any of these stories for I would love to hear from you guys on what you think of all this. Thank you in advance.

UPDATE (11/18/2015)

Well opps! I meant to update this a few months ago and then when I started NaNoWriMo but things got a bit hectic in the thing called Real Live. Anyways if anyone noticed my Awakening story pretty much flopped with no one really reading it therefore it is officially on Hiatus till I get some interested readers to get me to try it again. That said like mentioned it is NaNoWriMo and I have a few ideas bubbling ready to be posted by the end of the month. This is the first November that I am not taking up a major project for NaNoWriMo instead I am doing a chain of smaller ideas, because mainly I couldn't decide on which one I was going to write for. Therefore just decided to write little blurps for all of them and see what the readers thought. That is about it for now! Hopefully I shall update this again at the end of November! See you then.

UPDATE (4/29/2015)

Alright I posted my new story Zoids New Century Awakening which I have been working on for the past few weeks as I continue with Camp NaNoWriMo however I like to add that if I do not get a good response for the story I will just take it down and see about turning my attention to Black Flag along with another idea that I have. This comes about due myself having several different ideas for my second main story that I shall focus on for the next few months and figuring that if someone didn't like this idea I shall turn to the next. Granted I have a small amount of this zoid story already written but if it does not get the response that I am expecting then I may just turn to the next idea on my list.

UPDATE (4/20/2015)

So four months? Better then before but still kind of longer then I wanted. Anyways moving on, I like to mention that starting today all of my current projects bar Black Flag are now on Hiatus. This is a kind-of semi long term Hiatus not Abandoned therefore I WILL eventually get back to some of these stories in the long term once I have some extra time on my hands. However right now Real Life is a pain and plus a few extras that have sneaked up on me over the past few weeks. I do apologize everyone but things are just a freaking pain, literally in some cases, therefore that said I shall see about getting Black Flag back on track for it has been a few months since I last update. No promises though. Also I like to mention I kind-of redid my link section to make some sense. There are a few new pages added therefore enjoy what I have there. Thanks.

Also I decided to clean up my stories and basically deleted all of my older stories that have sitting without anyone reading them for several years. However I did make sure I made copies of these stories for those who actually had read them and want to read them again. Let me know if you want a copy and I shall email it to you. Thank!

Brief Author Bio

Alright, folks, my name is William R. Woods, and to those asking, no it is not my real name it is the pen name that I have chosen for myself while I write. Anyhow, as you may guess I have been writing Fanfiction for a while now, while my first few fics are not the best in the world they are the first ones that I have written. Not to mention that my latest are far better than the very early works I did as a late teen. Granted I know that even my latest is not the best out there, but I am still learning so please bear with me.

Now, I have the most creative mind and sometimes it goes on overdrive producing fanfiction ideas that I have no time or patience to write out but will occupy my mind for several days distracting me from writing anything on my established stories, so just a fair warning. Now I have since learned not to jump up and write something as soon as I think about it, but it still happens from time to time. Also, since my writing is multi-fandom I may concentrate on other fandoms for a while, so please bear with me if you are a fan of one of my stories that have not been updated in a while, it commonly means I am stuck on another fandom. So unless they are labeled On Hold I will get back to them, so please be patient. On another note, I am not a very fast updater as well so please have that in mind as well.

That said, I have moved on from having a full-time job and started to head back to school for a time. So while I have more time for writing I still have to focus my time on studying and homework. So I hope to get some more writing done but I doubt I would be able to do all that much in writing. Still I can hope that I manage to get some writing done as I go to school and such. Earth Alliance Having Mobile Suits Before The G-Project

This idea sports a few sub-ideas which all basically have the Earth Alliance sporting mobile suits before the start of the G-Project. However, the thing with these machines is that they are not as good as the Coordinator GINN or just that Coordinators are better Mobile Suit pilots then Naturals. Still basically these mobile suits would be basically mobile suits taken from another Gundam series like Gundam Wing, or Gundam X. However, other than that the story pretty much remains the same as the series itself.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: The White Lotus

Basically, an idea where Kira Yamato becomes a mercenary mobile suit pilot and thanks to losing his family to some event he is a bit more jaded than his canon counterpart. That said, he arrives at Heliopolis with his crew for some much-needed leave and soon after ZAFT attacks the colony dragging the mercenaries into the battle. They then join up with the Archangel where they become the ship's mobile suit force with Kira now piloting the Strike, but with more experience, he becomes a larger threat to ZAFT then canon Kira. From there the story changes due to the introduction of this new version of Kira.

Robotech: A New Ride

This idea basically has Scott Bernard's Resistance Cell struggling to keep supplied since thanks to only having a small truck they can't carry the needed supplies to keep their small force going for much longer. They then stumble onto a crashed Horizon-T Dropship that carries a larger vehicle that will allow them to carry far more supplies which allow their Mecha to be kept in the fight longer. Other than that there is no real difference in the story just replacing Lunk's small truck with a larger vehicle that can carry more supplies to keep their fight going on longer.

Harry Potter: Knight of Macross

After the Battle in the Ministry of Magic Atrium between Lord Voldemort and Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter is briefly possessed by Voldemort and Harry manages to defeat him by using his Magical Core to destroy him. After this Harry is drummed out of the magical world and is left to wonder the Muggle World. After a while, he starts to finish his education before going on to join the RAF. As he finishes the Academy the Visitor arrives and soon after Lieutenant James Potter Jr. the name Harry takes after his exile, joins the new Variable Fighter Program. Here he rises in rank till he becomes a squadron commander under Commander Roy Fokker the new CAG of the SDF-1 Macross. What new adventure awaits the former Boy-Who-Lived along the stars?

Sword Art Online: The Swordsman and the Valkyrie

What if Kirito met Asuna at the start of the game's Tutorial instead of Klein where Kirito helps train MMO Newbie Asuna? When the Tutorial ends after Kayaba's speech Kirito drags Asuna with him to start powerleveling to prepare for the climb up Aincrad. They then become a powerful duo of players through the rest of the game while becoming ever closer as the story goes on. This idea basically follows a similar story-line to that of SAO Progressive just with Kirito and Asuna being partners from the start of the game.

Sword Art Online: The Moonlight Black Cats

An idea that has Kirito already being a member of the Black Cats at the start of the game. Basically, he had been a member of the same Computer Club the other members were part of before the start of the game. It is only Kirito's experience in the Beta that does see the others of the Club to join the game dragging Kirito kicking and screaming to form a Guild with them. Thanks to having his friends in the game with him he joins Klein staying behind in the Town of Beginning to get them trained up. From there the story follows a similar line just with the Black Cats being Kirito's Guild.

Sword Art Online: A Mother's Love

After the death of the Moonlight Black Cats, Kirito's friends try to help him but nothing is working. At least till Argo finds out that one of her contacts who helps her with the Daily Argo Newspaper is actually Kirito's Real Life Mother. Midori Kirigaya had been invited to SAO by her job so she could write an article about the Nerve Gear and the game itself for their Magazine. Therefore she is trapped in the game along with the rest of the players, but since this is pretty much her first time playing such a major game she mainly stays behind in the Town of Beginning and it is only when she becomes a contact of Argo that she starts helping the other players to Clear the Game. After passing on the data on Nicholas The Renegade to Kirito Argo is shocked that he is going to try to solo the Event Boss and soon after contacts Midori after figuring out she is Kirito's mother. Mother and son then reunite thanks to Argo and Midori consoles Kirito on what had been happening to him since the start of the game.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: A Tigress Story

Basically a “What if…” and different POV story where the story follows Aisha, Andrew Waltfields lover. The “What if…” is what if Andrew dies from Kira’s attack and not Aisha therefore Aisha sort of inherits the command of what remains of the Waltfield Team. This story would explore the background of both Aisha and Andrew and how the two got together. Not to mention exploring a character that is only a throw-a-way character that was only seen in what three episodes and never used again in the series. [Have a bit more info on this idea]

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: The Junkers

A story that completely rewrites the story of the Gundam SEED Astray manga to make the Junk Guild a bit more believable and make it less silly. It also expands on the Junk Guild Team we know from the manga making it go from a handful of members to around a dozen or so named characters and explores a bit more of the overall larger Guild. Something I really wanted to do for a long while. [Have a bit more info on this idea]

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Protecting The Neutral Zone

Basically an idea I when playing the SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays game while on steam which has a unit from one of the neutral nations protecting their space from an aggressor from ZAFT or the Earth Alliance. For this idea, it would be Copernicus City and would follow a unit of mercenaries who are hired by the neutral city to protect them from the Earth Alliance around the time of the Battle of Mendel. The story would follow this unit through the time they were hired, to preparation for the battle and the battle itself.

Currently Watching

Okay. 2021 is just about finished. Still, though there is plenty of brand-new anime and such out there to watch. So what am I currently watching? Well, I took an interest in both Fena: Pirate Princess and The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat which is both interesting stories in my mind. I also managed to watch through the entire first season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch earlier in the year. I am also trying to find somewhere to watch Macross Delta Movie 2 Zettai Live!!! Sadly though I think I am going to have to wait for a few more months to be able to watch it online. I am also excited about this news of a new Gundam Series coming out, and the live-action Gundam Movie. That said. That is about everything that I currently watching. Till next time!

Finally decided to add a music section this profile. Anyways basically I like pretty much everything but Heavy Metal, give or take a few things I just don't touch. I mainly listen to J-Pop (Japanese Pop), Country, light Rock, R&B, and now thanks to SethMKlein some Power Metal like Krypertia, Sabaton, and Dragon Force. Also some people may notice I like to give chapters of my stories a dedicated BGM (Background Music) which I think goes with that mentioned chapter. Readers do not have to listen to the song mentioned while reading like other dedicated BGMs but I highly recommend readers listen to it anyways just to get an idea.I also tend to like some Opening and/or Closing Songs from Anime hence liking J-Pop.

Though I would like to add a few things to Stravag's words above. I know many people are not really good at giving out good, positive Feedback. This is either they do not have time or the ability to do so. Other times they do not have the words to express what they are thinking about the story in question. A good thing to do is just to leave a few words of encouragement behind. Your review does not have to be super long, a few words are all it takes. Though just leaving "U Suck" or "Great Story" behind is not a good thing. Like Stravag said. Give a few words, that is all.
