"Okay. Dragging these water jugs never get any easier. Okay boy. Set it down gently." Alexis says as she and Storm are carrying water jugs before setting them down as Darius walks over.
"Hey Alexis. Nice job on collecting water." Darius says as he sees the water jugs.
"Thanks. Where you heading off to?" Alexis asks.
"I'm heading out to investigate a Gallimimus.. It's for my book." Darius says as he holds up his book.
"For your book?" Alexis asks curiously while smiling.
"Yeah. What's so odd about that?" Darius asks sheepishly.
"Nothing. Hey I could show you where some are. I passed some earlier this morning on my hunt when Storm went to do his solo hunting." Alexis says as storm nuzzles her.
"Really? Think you could show me? Save me the time of searching all over for them." Darius says as Alexis nods.
"Sure. Stay at the base Storm. Don't need any unnecessary stampedes from alarm. You play nice now while I'm gone." Alexis says as Storm growls.
"Hey Kenji! Alexis is coming with me! Storm is gonna stay here! He can help with gathering supplies!" Darius shouts as he and Alexis run off.
*Timeskip*
"Beautiful aren't they?" Darius asks as he and Alexis watch a small herd of gallimimus from a boulder.
"Yeah." Alexis says as Darius is sketching the gallimimus before spotting a lone one eating grass.
"You know sometimes these walkies are a blessing and then sometimes they can be a pain." Alexis says as the walkie talkie makes a loud noise scaring the dinosaur off.
"Tell me about it." Darius says.
"Captain Kenj to... Dariusaurus and beautiful angel." Kenji says as he comes in on the walkie talkie.
"Go for Dariusaurus." Darius says quietly as he picks up the walkie talkie.
"You sure that's the call sign you want?" Kenji asks as Alexis keeps the book from falling.
"Yes. The answer is still yes." Darius says.
"Don't wanna give anything away but I already did one thing and it was flawless." Kenji says as Alexis and Darius see the herd is moving.
"That's good Kenji. Very good." Alexis says as she and Darius begin to go after the herd.
"I will do you proud." Kenji says.
"Kenji you have to actually do the stuff and not just talk about it in order to do me proud." Darius says as he and Alexis hear no reply.
"Kenji? You still there?" Alexis asks.
"Right. Yes. Loud and clear. Talk time is over. 10-4." Kenji says as Darius sighs before he and Alexis run after the herd.
*Timeskip*
"So why is it you're really out here wanting to sketch gallimimus?" Alexis asks as she is walking with Darius.
"What do you mean? I told you." Darius says as he gives a nervous look.
"No you lied to me. Darius I can tell there is something you're hiding. What is it?" Alexis asks.
"Okay.. I'm doing it for my dad. Gallimimus were his favorite. I guess you can say it's kind of a personal mission." Darius says as he looks down.
"I understand." Alexis says as Darius looks at her curiously.
"How?" Darius asks.
"Kira. I took storm in partly because she loved raptors. It wasn't just due to personal issues in my life I took him in. I took him in because I also remembered the raptors being Kira's favorite to work with at the clinic. I could always tell what ones she was most happy to work with. The raptors were the ones she loved the most. I guess he filled that part I missed. Something to remind me of her. But she can't ever give me what I truly need in the end." Alexis says as Darius looks at her with concern.
"What do you mean?" Darius asks as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"It's nothing.. Just.. silly thoughts. Hey. There they are." Alexis says as she and Darius see the herd before Darius manages to get one to come up to him only for the walkie talkie to go off again scaring the herd once more.
"Guys? Guys?" Kenji asks as he comes in on the walkie talkie.
"What's up captain Kenj?" Darius asks in annoyance.
"Not much. How are things going with you?" Kenji asks.
"Good." Alexis says.
"Cool. Cool. Cool. Awesome. Me? Everything's great with me. Couldn't be better really. But hypothetically what would you do if a totally capable but scrawny dinosaur kinda went missing?" Kenji asks nervously.
"What?" Darius asks in confusion.
"Nothing! Nevermind. Don't worry about it. I got this." Kenji says nervously.
"Kenji do you need us to come back? If it's more than you can handle just say so instead of beating around the bush." Alexis says.
"Oh no. No. Don't sweat it. Don't worry about it." Kenji says.
"You're sure?" Alexis asks.
"Absolutely. I got this 100 percent." Kenji says.
"Okay. So we've clearly established Alexis and I are gonna stay here and you're gonna pack? We should probably let you go then so you can focus on that." Darius says.
"Yeah. Okay but one last thing. Hello? Guys?" Kenji asks before Darius turns off the walkie talkie.
"I know you love him but I seriously wonder how you tolerate him sometimes." Darius says as he looks at Alexis.
"Eh. I love him but I won't lie and say he can be irritating at times." Alexis says as she and Darius start walking.

As Alexis and Darius find the herd they quickly see they are acting afraid of something before finding spikes in a tree and seeing dead bodies up in the trees.
"Darius please tell me you have something in that book about a dinosaur that does this kind of thing because i do not know of any that behave this way." Alexis says as she and Darius begin walking back.
"Don't worry I'm looking. There's gotta be one in here about a dinosaur that kills and drags it's prey up in a tree. It just doesn't make sense." Darius says as he looks through his book before shrieking hearing rustling nearby.
"Darius get behind me." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form growling lowly while standing in front of Darius protectively.
"Darius, Alexis! Oh my gosh!" A voice shouts revealing to be Sammy and Brooklynn as they tackle into Alexis and Darius as Brooklynn and Sammy begin rambling on at the same time.
"Whoa! Slow down. What is going on?" Darius asks.
"We found the lab Dr. Wu was using to make the indominous rex.. and other hybrids." Brooklynn says.
"There's more than one of those things?" Alexis asks as Brooklynn nods.
"He called it the scorpious rex." Brooklynn says.
"And it's loose on the island!" Sammy says in alarm.
"If you think the indominous was bad-" Brooklynn then gets cut off by Sammy.
"This one's way more unstable!" Sammy says worriedly.
"This is why the dinosaurs have been acting so strange." Darius says.
"We can't wait any longer. We have to leave the island. Now." Brooklynn says as the group runs back toward base.
*Timeskip*
"Kenji!" Alexis says as she is holding the walkie talkie.
"That's captain Kenji there beautiful angel. Remember Darius wanted to use codenames and I picked out yours." Kenji says.
"Not the time Kenji! We have to get out of here now!" Alexis says in alarm.
"What? What do you-" Kenji then gets cut off by Brooklynn.
"There's another hybrid dinosaur!" Brooklynn shouts.
"Like the indominous but worse!" Sammy shouts.
"How? I don't understand." Yazmina says.
"There's no time!" Brooklynn shouts.
"Grab the supplies and meet us at the boat!" Darius shouts.
"About the supplies.." Kenji says nervously.
"Kenji!" Darius shouts angrily.
"I was too busy handling things." Kenji says.
"We need that stuff!" Darius shouts.
"I know! I got this. Yazmina will go ahead to the boat and get it ready for launch. Ben and I will pack up the essentials. Darius, Alexis, Brooklynn, and Sammy swing by camp and help us carry everything." Kenji says.
"Copy that. See you soon." Darius says.
*Timeskip*
"We're here. What can we do?" Darius asks as the group arrives back at base.
"Here." Ben says as the group begins getting the supplies ready to leave before Yazmina runs through the gate door.
"Yaz? Why aren't you at the boat dock?" Kenji asks.
"The surf is way to intense to cast off. Boat's already taking on water. No way to leave until the seas calm down." Yazmina says in alarm.
"So we're stuck? With the scorpious out there?" Sammy asks fearfully.
"Avoiding killer dinos is kind of our thing." Kenji says.
"Not like this killer dino." Brooklynn says.
"We only survived this long because we know how dinosaurs should act.. At least the ones we know about anyway." Alexis says.
"With the scorpious rex on a rampage all bets are off. Soon... survival will be impossible." Darius says as he looks down.
"Don't beat yourself up. There's nothing anyone could have done." Kenji says as he goes over to Darius.
"You could have done the one thing I asked you to do. Then we could have made it to the boat." Darius says angrily.
"Well I'm sorry I didn't anticipate the new scarier franken dino. My bad." Kenji says as he puts his hands up defensively.
"You said you had everything handled." Darius says.
"I did until Ben of the jungle ran off!" Kenji says as he gestures to Ben.
"Hey! I didn't ask you to follow me. Besides whether or not O was here you could of grabbed more than your bad and hair gel." Ben says angrily.
"That's not fair Ben. Kenji sounded worried about you if went to look." Alexis says.
"Okay. What's important right now is that we come up with a plan." Brooklynn says.
"Well while we wait for the storm to pass let's do what we can to shore up the perimeter fence. Just in case." Darius says as he looks at the others.
"We could use some of the rubble to fortify the fence maybe?" Kenji asks.
"Yeah. Good idea." Darius says as he doesn't look at Kenji and walks off.
*Timeskip*
"Darius is pretty mad at me. Isn't he?" Kenji asks as he is helping Alexis with fortifying the fence.
"I think he's just disappointed that you didn't do what he asked. I'm not saying that finding Ben wasn't important but you could have done what he asked while you knew Ben was around and fine instead of bragging to us earlier. That time could of made a real difference and now we're having to fight for our lives against a creature we know hardly nothing about until the seas die down enough for us to leave. I honestly agree with him you should of done what he asked but.. In all honesty I would of went to look for Ben too." Alexis says as she looks at Kenji before looking down.
"Hey are you okay? You seem distracted." Kenji says.
"I'm fine. I just got some things on my mind." Alexis says.
"Like what?" Kenji asks curiously.
"Back home for one. I miss Kira but.. I just don't know how things are gonna go once I'm home. I can't be myself anymore once I go back. If I ever showed my true self of this island I'd just be looked at as a danger or an experiment to people. Besides what if she doesn't even want me back? There would be nothing for me back home. There's just a lot for me to think about." Alexis says sadly.
"You'd have me." Kenji says as Alexis stands up.
"Kenji let's be real. We didn't know each other or see each other before the island. What are the chances of us being able to keep up our relationship off it? You deserve someone normal. Someone who can give you a happy life. I'm just not sure I'm that person. There's too much wrong with me to ever give you a happy and normal life." Alexis says as she starts to walk off before Kenji stops her.
"Don't say that! Look I don't care if you're a normal love that you're unique. I intend to do everything I can to make sure we are together after we get off the island. Don't worry. I promise you'll always have me." Kenji says.
"Thanks." Alexis says as she looks back down before going back to fortifying the fence.
*Timeskip*
After finishing the fence the group then watches as Bumpy and Storm run off before hearing a roar in the distance and quickly take their positions in the base. As the group stay hidden they soon see a dinosaur with reddish eyes and spikes coming near the fence growling.
"Maybe it won't see us." Sammy says quietly as the group then screams upon the scorpious rex ramming at the electrical fence before it lets out a loud menacing roar.
"Where'd it go?" Darius asks as the group no longer sees the scorpious rex below outside the fence.
"I don't see it!" Ben shouts.
"Did anyone see where it went?" Sammy asks.
"Don't like hide and seek." Yazmina says.
"Where'd that thing go. It can't just disappear.. can it?" Alexis asks worriedly before the group screams seeing the scorpious is in a tree looking at them and growling. The group then runs as it jumps at them and begins chasing the group. Not long after the group is getting attacked by the creature it soon stops upon seeing a tree on fire as a result of a lightning strike allowing the group to quickly sneak down below and run. While running the group quickly gets broken up as Sammy gets hit and sent to the ground harshly by the creature's tail. The others then run before quickly stopping at the fence as they then scream seeing the creature is closing in before it roars and hears another creature roaring in the distance causing it to quickly leave.
"Why did it leave?" Yazmina asks as she comes over.
"No idea but right now that's good news for us." Alexis says as Sammy comes over.
"That thing was-" Sammy then gets cut off by Darius.
"Sammy! Are you okay?" Darius asks as the group sees Sammy has spikes in her side from the scorpious.
"Whoa. I.. I didn't even notice them. I'm fine though. Really." Sammy says as she begins to act light headed.
"Sammy! Sammy!" Yazmina shouts as Sammy passes out.
