A/N: Since the creators have said in a post a while back I think on Twitter they have an end in sight I assume there will be another season maybe two. So I will continue this book when that season comes out but I may be back in school by then so it will be updated when I have the chance and time.
"BRAD stop! Sorry guys. Guess Kash only has one song loaded on this thing." Darius says as the brad-x is playing loud music.
"Not to worry. Just hearing you say you locked Kash away is music enough for my ears." Mae says as the group cheers for their victory.
"Get back here Firecracker! Alexis help!" Ben shouts as he chases after firecracker before Alexis joins him.
"Now that's good. You two getting bested by a baby dino." Kenji says as Alexis looks at him unamused.
"Oh yeah smart guy? Where's Rebel? This ain't easy Kenji. Firecracker is fast for a little baby." Alexis says.
"Sorry. Hey uh Alexis could we talk for a sec?" Kenji asks.
"Uh sure?" Alexis asks as she follows Kenji away from the others.
"So I wanted to apologize." Kenji says.
"For what?" Alexis asks.
"For being a jerk lately to Darius. I've also been a bit overbearing on you too. Look I only acted that way because the thought of us not seeing each other after we get home is really scaring me." Kenji says as Alexis looks at him before giving a soft look.
"Well that explains a lot but Kenji we will always have time for each other. I promise you that. I'm not going anywhere." Alexis says.
"Me either but is it cool if I talk to Darius alone today? I kinda wanna apologize." Kenji says as Alexis smiles at him.
"Have fun then. I should probably help Ben with Firecracker. Man that little critter is faster than Storm is." Alexis says as she sees Ben still chasing Firecracker.
"I'm sure my beautiful girlfriend can catch her." Kenji says.
"Thanks Kenji." Alexis says as she goes to help Ben.
"Hey! We're taking the kids to the desert!" Brooklynn shouts as she gestures to Rebel and Angel.
"Yeah have fun. Oh my berries aren't good enough." Ben says annoyedly as firecracker eats some leaves from a branch Mae is holding.
"She expended a lot of energy and needs something more substantial. With those irregular neck movements and increase in drool production you can tell berries just won't cut it." Mae says.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alexis asks as she sees Ben is looking at her.
"You are miss Blake's daughter. Don't you know that stuff?" Ben asks.
"Hey my primary area was on smaller creatures. Never really messed with babies like Firecracker... or Storm for that matter." Alexis says annoyedly.
"I could make you a nifty dinosaur behavior chart if you'd like." Mae says kindly.
"Oh I don't need a chart. I've got my instincts." Ben says.
"Sure you have. Regardless you did a good thing. You both did. She's finally free." Mae says as she smiles at firecracker.
"But she's still got that control chip in her. If that tech gets into the wrong hands..." Ben says.
"Then we need to get the chip out of her so no one can ever harm her again." Alexis says as she looks at Ben.
"Can you do that?" Ben asks as he looks at Mae.
"Can I... Benjamin, Alexis I'm a world semi-famous scientist. Of course I can do that. Except I'll need surgical equipment." Mae says.
"Great. Back into that awful building. Well least Kash isn't in there anymore." Alexis says.
"Mae, Alexis, and I are going to the Med Bay to save Firecracker." Ben says.
"Cool. Be careful!" Darius shouts as the group leaves.
*Timeskip*
"I still can't believe you made a bond with a Velociraptor Alexis. Those creatures are highly dangerous but they are rather intelligent and are pack animals. I guess you imprinted with it since you raised it from a baby and it did the same with everyone else in your group including Bumpy even though she was an herbivore. I've never seen that done but it's incredible. I have a special bond with Pierce but all dinosaur behavior, how and why they act the way they do it can all be determined based on observable data." Mae says.
"I don't need science or facts to know what FC does and doesn't like." Ben says.
"That's what you need to know anything kids. Science and facts." Mae says as the group's elevator stops.
"Oh yeah? Then how do I know she doesn't like this conversation?" Ben asks.
"I don't think Firecracker's the one who doesn't like this conversation." Mae says.
"How come you're not backing me on this?" Ben asks as he looks at Alexis.
"Ben to be fair she is a scientist and besides Firecracker isn't like Bumpy or Storm. If it will help I'm at least willing to hear her out." Alexis says as Ben groans before the group gets out of the elevator.
*Timeskip*
"Got it." Mae says as she removes the chip from firecracker.
"Nice job Mae." Alexis says happily.
"Thanks Mae. It's nice to be around an adult who loves dinosaurs as much as we do. Even if you need science to prove it." Ben says happily.
"That's the whole point of science kids. To prove things." Mae says as Firecracker wakes up.
"Hi girl." Alexis says as she pets Firecracker.
"You're okay." Ben says happily.
*Timeskip*
"Here they come." Ben says as the group is outside and sees Kenji and Darius run over.
"Are you all right? Kenji told us Kash escaped." Mae says.
"Kash's boss is here." Darius says.
"The president of Mantah Corp? I've never met the man. Is he as heartless as Kash?" Mae asks.
"He might be worse. Mae he's having the BRADs take Pierce to a new biome with new assets. They're gonna use him as food." Darius says.
"What?" Alexis, Ben, and Mae ask in union.
"There's a new biome? It was under construction for a while but they must have just finished it. The airlock is just through these trees. We've got to go save Pierce." Mae says as Alexis nods.
"You guys try to stop the BRADs and Kenji and I will stop the new dinos. I just hope we're not too late." Darius says.
"Be careful boys." Alexis says as she, Mae, and Ben run off.
*Timeskip*
"All right hurry up stupid door!" Ben says as the door then opens revealing Pierce being led onto a platform by BRAD's as Alexis and Ben then attack the robots.
"Oh. It's okay Pierce I'm here." Mae says as she runs over to Pierce.
"There's too many! We can't fight all of them." Alexis shouts as more robots appear.
"Why aren't they firing at us?" Ben asks as he and Alexis are backed onto the platform with Mae and Pierce as it begins to rise before it stops in the middle of a swamp like biome.
"Kenji, Darius what's going on?" Alexis asks.
"Let's just say we know what the dinosaur is that inhabits this place is now." Kenji says as Alexis shifts to wolf form seeing dinosaurs come running over and growls.
"Careful Alexis they spit venom." Darius says as Alexis dodges some venom before Brooklynn, Sammy, and Yazmina come over in a snow glider frightening off the dinosaurs.
"Nice timing guys." Alexis says happily.
"How did you guys know we were here?" Darius asks.
"What do you mean? You sent the BRAD-X to get us." Brooklynn says.
"No we didn't. It's a trap." Darius says before the group sees they are surrounded by brad robots.
"You were right boss. Dumb kid did have help." A voice says revealing to be Kash and another man holding Mae's tablet.
"You shouldn't leave important devices like this lying around. They could fall into the wrong-" The other man soon stops talking as he looks at Kenji.
"Dad?" Kenji asks as everyone looks at him in shock.
