Magical Alien Summer EP 29: Time Warped
The Next day, the Starswirled festival is back on track after Animo's unexpected entrance as the Rainbooms were enjoying themselves as Dan decides to listen to his own music on his phone. After a while of hanging out and enjoying themselves, and Sunset and Pinkie Pie getting a chance to see their favorite band perform, much to there joy, the gang were heading back to the RV as they chat among themselves. Dan then stops as he spoke out. "Hey, I'm going to use one of the restrooms nearby, those Chilie Cheese Dogs really gets a guy going." Dan ran off as Sunset groans out. "Okay… Too much Info, but none the less, can't wait to hit the shack!" Her friends gives agreements as well as they all talked about there day.
But as Sunset opens the driver's door, they were surprised to see Aaron on the seat, looking like he was busted, big time. "Uhhh…." "Aaron?! What are you doing here!?" Sunset cries out as Aaron glances at the Darktrix, seeing it has Wildfire selected. "Ladies, would you believe that I thought this was my RV?" Aaron smiles out with a shrug as the Rainbooms got flat expressions. "No." "Didn't think so." Aaron slams down on the Darktrix and turns into Wildfire, breathing out fireballs as the girls dodged. "Ohh… And Aaron's Wildfire just has to ruin this night." Twilight groans out as Applejack frowns out and activates her geode. "Not for long, sugarcube. HEY! FIREFACE!" "Huh?" Applejack tackles and knocks her and Wildfire out of the RV with her strength. Wildvine then climbs to the top and blasted at the cowgirl, who dodged. Rainbow Dash kept speeding around as Wildfire kept shotting fireballs all over, trying to hit the magic-powered athlete.
Only for a Diamond shield to block one of them as he glanced over and was blasted onto his back by magic sprinkles, exploding in his face. He was then telekinetically lifted and slammed down on the roof as the Rainbooms confronted him. "Whoa! Whoa! Easy, girls! I give up." "Yeah, we bet you do. Now explain, Aaron! Why were you trying to steal our RV?!" Sunset glares out along with her friends as Wildfire sat up and grins out. "Okay! But 1st, let me just say: Sweet moves, girls! Have you've been practicing since I last saw you?" Pinkie got a blushing smile. "Aww… Thanks! We have! See, after that whole—" She was cut off when Rainbow places her hand on her mouth as she glares at Aaron. "Hey! Don't try to change the subject!" 'Okay! Okay! It was an honest mistake." But Aaron sneakily blasted them with fire, sending them tumbling onto the ground with groans of pain as Wildfire slips into the driver's seat and starts it up. "Suckers!" He floors the gas, and the RV took off.
The Rainbooms recovers and tries to catch up, but failed as the RV went out of sight as the teens got depressed looks. "Hey, guy!" Dan cries out as he walks up, only to noticed the RV has vanished. "What happened? Did someone painted the RV invisible for a prank?" "No… I'm just going for a walk." Sunset spoke out with a sad look as Dan is confused. "What happened while I was gone?" As Sunset came to a stop on a hill that overlooks the festival, she pulls her legs to her chest and lowers her head, only for a strange magic wave to wash over her as she didn't noticed.
Sunset kept sleeping away, until an alarm rang out, making her grab the phone next to her and shuts off as she rubs her eyes out of any sleep, only to noticed that she is back in the RV! "What the?" She got dressed and walks out to see everyone is doing the same thing and aren't even weirded out that the RV that was stolen is somehow back. "Starswirled, Day one, take 2! Come and get it!" Rainbow cries out as she accidently whacks her paddle on Sunset's behind as she cries out. "Sorry! I'll be a little more careful, next time." "What?" "And I say to Big Mac, 'Get your own Chicken Coop'!" Fluttershy spit her juice on the cowgirl as she giggles as Sunset is surprised the same thing that happened yesterday is happening today!
As the group walks to the festival, Sunset can't help but feel weird as everything she experienced yesterday is happening again to the smallest detail! From stepping on the same mud puddle on her path to the festival, to the same quote the guard at the gate spoke out. Sunset can't stop thinking about this odd case of Déjà vu. After a series of events with Twilight and Pinkie Pie, Sunset explains her dilemma. "It's possible that yesterday, a snag in in the Fabric in Space-Time could cause a Temporal Point. I.E. Today, to fold in on itself and thereby, repeat! Quite fascinating, really." Twilight spoke out her theory as she uses one of Pinkie's fires to demonstrate as Sunset summarizes. "So… A Time-Loop." "Time-Loop Ha! Classic Sunset!" Pinkie chuckles out.
"Guess I'm not the only one with time problems." They glanced over to see Aaron, leaning against a nearby shack as he then walks up with crossed arms. "I overheard what you girls are saying, and Sunset is speaking the truth. Somehow, the 2 of us got caught in a Time Loop." "Really? How do you know?' Twilight askes as she adjust his glasses in response as the party girl just scarfs on fries. See, after I managed to swipe your RV, to which I enjoy seeing the hilarious looks on your faces when I totally creamed you girls as Wildfire!" Aaron smirks out with a chuckles as the teen girls merely frowns out in annoyance.
"After that, I decide to go Sonic Boom and head back to the Festival, to score some cool Heavy metal T-Shirts! Check it out! I'm wearing one!" Aaron grins out as he opens his jacket to reveal his new black T-shirt with the words 'Metallica.' with a pic of the Grim Reaper. "It's a vintage, 1993 Metallica T-shirt. And it's all mine." The girls stares at the shirt as Sunset comments. "That is a cool shirt. What? It totally is." The girl shrugs at the looks she is getting as Aaron continues his story. "Anyway, I was just about to bail, when this strange wave of magic came bursting out of the forest and washed over me! Except I was totally fine as it didn't affected my watch. But when I went to check where the blast came from, nothing was there! It's like whoever or whatever made that wave is gone. And the next morning, I find myself resetting the whole day, right down to the littlest detail!" Sunset ponders at Aaron's story as she spoke out. "It looks like Equestria Magic is behind this." Pinkie merely shrugs it off as if it wasn't the weirdest thing that happened to the girls, considering how much they have been through.
"Not the strangest thing that happens to us. Considering what we've been through throughout this year, so far." Twilight then realizes something from Aaron as she askes the 13-year-old. "Hey… Why were you trying to steal our RV in the 1st place?' "That's on a need to know business, 4-eyes. And you don't need to know. Now, if you excuse me, I got some major pranks to pull!" The boy chuckles to himself as he went off. "See around, lame-os!" "Huh… Is it me or is Aaron actually getting less annoying, every time we ran into him?" Sunset askes as her friends gave shrugs as well. "Maybe."
After a few of more same days with Sunset and Pinkie getting kicked out after a Churro cart crash they caused and some fights with Aaron and his aliens with Dan helping a couple times and lastly falling victim to the street teen's pranks, Sunset has enough as she decide to get some magic advice from the only person she know that can help! So, after another repeat, Sunset decides to ask Princess Twilight for help. She got her journal and ran out of the RV, grabbing Pinkie Pie as she cries out. "No time!" The 2 dashed to the Festival as the others gave looks of confusion.
After finding Aaron, the 3 sat at a table as Sunset writes in her book. "So, you think Princess Twilight can help with the Temporal-loop thingy?" "Hope so! Because I'm not in the mood to repeat the same day, over and over." Aaron frowns out as Sunset questions out. "I thought you be happy with this loop on doing anything you want without consequences, Aaron?" "Yeah… But what's the point of making epic pranks if there just going to get reset in the end and no one will remember them?" "He makes a very good point." Pinkie points out as she slurps on her drink. Sunset then wrote in her journal as they then waited. And they waited… And they waited… And waited more as Aaron flicks a paper football between Pinkie's fingers and lands in her hair as she gazes up.
Finally, the book vibrated as the 3 opens it up as they read Twilight's reply. "Sunset… I've been doing some research and there's some goods news and bad news. The goods news is that what you're experiencing is not Alien Technology or a rouge alien causing trouble." "Whew! That's a relief." Sunset breaths out with a relaxed look. "It looks like you found another lost Equestria Artifact." "Guess this must be the bad news." Aaron comments out as Sunset gazes to the side and groans out. "Lucky me." "The Time Twirler. I don't know how it found it's way into your world. But when activated, it has the power to loop time! What you are experiencing is not magic gone amok! Or a wish running awry. Someone is deliberately using the Time Twirler to cause this!"
"Okay! So all we have to do is find the person who's got that artifact and we find our Time Messer!" Aaron smirks out as the girls agrees as well.
Skunkbug hovers above the Festival as both Sunset and Pinkie rode on his back. "Keep an eye out! That person with the Time Twirler has got to be here, somewhere!" "It would be easer if you don't smell like a garbage dump!" Sunset waves in front of her face at the mutant bug alien's smell as Pinkie took out clothes pins and sticked them on there noises. "Hey! You're the one who wanted a bird's eye view. If you want, you can get off right now!" Pinkie glances down to see how high they and realizes that flying on a smelly insect alien is better then falling 3 stories to the ground without a trampoline or a parachute. "On second thought, we can work with it." As Skunkbug flew around the festival, they spotted green smoke coming from a stage as they heard singing coming from it. As the 2 teens peek out, there eyes winded in shock on who is on stage!" 'No way!" "The Dazzlings are back?!" "'The Dazzlings?'" Skunkbug asked out in a confused tone at the sight of 3 teen girls with blue, purple and yellow like skin, singing into there microphones. Deciding on getting a closer look, they quickly lands on top of the roof of the stage. "That song was called, 'finding magic'. Human Scum." The yellow skin with puffy orange hair mumbles under her breath as she and her friends left the stage.
The trio spies on them from the roof as they watch the Dazzlings pass a guard and enters into a van. "So… The Dazzlings?" "They are trouble." Sunset answers as Pinkie staters out. "With a capital T!" "They are behind the time-loop. I just know it. We need to investigate there bus for the Time Twirler. But we need to get past him." Sunset gestures to the guard as he denies a poster signing to Snips and Snails. "Don't worry! I got this!" Skunkbug grins out as he taps the Darktrix symbol, changing into Dark Matter. He then leaps down behind the stage as he snuck up to the guard as he is unaware of what is going, until Dark Matter took 2 claws and pinched at a certain nerve at his neck, making the man freeze up as he then fell down, out cold as he is drooling.
He then drags the man behind a tree and then changed into Throneblade, making his back tendrils reached up and grab Sunset and Pinkie and places them on ground level. "What did you do?" Hephaestion Nero Grip. Useful for subduing all matter of prey." The alien smugly answers Sunset's question as Pinkie looks at her own fingers and at Sunset's neck and slowly reaches out, getting closer. "Don't even think about it, Pinkie Pie." Sunset frowns out as she glances back at the party girl as she hides her hand with a sheepish chuckle. Just as he changes back to Dark Matter, the van door opens as the 3 ducks behind some crates as they hide. "Ooooh, that was our best show yet!" "The loop is really working." "Of course it's working. It was my idea." The leader smugly states as the mutant alien and 2 magic girls eavesdrop. "I knew it! I bet they are hiding the Time Twirler somewhere in their tour bus." "Nice thinking. Also, looks more like a tour van to me." Pinkie pokes her head out as Dark matter did the same. "Yeah… That thing looks lamer then the Rust Bucket. They quickly hide as the Dazzlings walked past them.
Dark Matter opens the door and spoke to the girls. "I'll check the place out. Wait here and keep watch!" He shuts the door as Pinkie salutes. "You got it! No one's gonna get by me! No way, no how! Nuh-uh! Nope! Nah, nah-ah!" "You don't have to pace around it, you know." Sunset raised an eyebrow as Pinkie calls back. "Make it more guard like! Neat, huh?!" Pinkie grins out as Sunset rolls her eyes in response. "Whatever floats your boat."
Inside the van, Dark Matter looks all over, rummaging through things as he mumbles out. "It has to be here somewhere… Where is it?" He noticed the toaster popped out some fresh toast. "What kind of moron leaves toast in the toaster?" He then kept looking as he spotted some sort of Laptop and opens it, using his alien brain to hack in easily. He came across an interesting file marked 'Vocal Loop'. He clicks it and finds out that the program is a vocal loop that is for the song they had just sung! "Okay… So they Lip-sync. But no evidence of the Time Twirler!" He then noticed photos and looks through them. "Nothing! These are just photos of the girls at the Festival! I'm starting to think the Dazzlings aren't behind this. Wait a sec…" He noticed one photo in practically has some girls walking in the background, but noticed one of them has a practical object in her hair. Zooming in, Dark Matter saw the Time Twirler itself, lodged into a hairbow as part of it. "Looks I caught the culprit! Now it's just a matter of identifying her! Matter as in Dark Matter… That's a good one. Great…" Dark Matter face palms at the pun he made as he grumbles out. "Now I sound like the dweeb."
"Aaron!" Sunset cries out as she opens the door. "The Dazzlings are coming back! We need to go!" 'Right!" Dark Matter quickly printed the photo and took it with him as he got out and turns into Skunkbug, grabbing Sunset and flying away as Dazzlings didn't noticed a thing as they returned. The mutant landed near a booth and changes back. "That was a close call…" "Yeah. Did you find the Time Twirler?" Sunset askes as Aaron answers back. "No! They aren't behind it. But I think I have clue where. Check it! This girl has it in her hair." Sunset checks the picture and takes a closer look. She gasped in shock as she exclaims. "I don't believe it!" 'Don't believe what?' They glanced at Pinkie, munching on some Churros as she then offers them. "Want one?" She got deadpan looks in response.
Pinkie, Aaron and Sunset were riding a 2 person bicycle as they took over a Churro delivery to Postcrush after the last guy quiet. "So, you're saying Postcrush is responsible for the Time-Loop?" "No way! No how! No can! There's no way a cool duo of amazing friends could be the bad guys behind the loopy day mess!" Pinkie denies as she kept peddling as Aaron rode on the back carrier. "Well, do you know anyone else with that kind of hair?" 'Look! Let's just see if they know anything about the Time Twirler. Besides, on the plus side, this is our very 1st chance to actually meet them in person!' Both girls squeal out as Aaron rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Girls and their pop stars…"
They arrived at a fancy Tour Bus as they got out. They went up as Sunset knocks on the door, opening it up as the duo of Postcrush shows up. "Special delivery!" "We are huge, huge, ginormous fans!" Pinkie grins out. "Hey… The usually delivery guy looks like 2 girls and some punk emo guy today." "I'M NOT EMO! Why does everybody keep calling me that?!" Aaron frowns out as Pinkie and Sunset looks away and whistles. K-Lo quickly nudges her partner as she corrects herself. "I mean, today is the 1st time we've done this! Yesterday was… a different day." Aaron got a smug look as he glances at the 2 Canterlot High students as they look at each other in sad looks. "Funny thing about today and yesterday." Aaron frowns out with crossed arms.
The 2 popstars exits as K-Lo replies. "Word. Thanks for being fans, but we gotta... you know... get on stage." "Of course! We don't want to keep you. Come on, Sunset." But Sunset didn't budge as she holds out her hand. "But before you go on, at least give me the honor of shaking your hand. As a thank-you for all your music and anything else you might've done to me. I mean, for me." "Anything for a fan." But she activated Sunset's magic the moment there hands touched, making Sunset see through her memories and saw that Aaron was right about them! They have been using the Time Twirler and resting everything because of one small mistake or another during their show.
"Aaron was right! You found the Time Twirler! You're the ones causing the time loop!" Sunset declares as the 13-year-old smirks out as Pinkie drops her Churros in shock as she covers her mouth. "Pause. How did you see inside my brain?" Su-Z asked as K-Lo rolls her eyes. "We're going to keep loop our show 'til it's perfect! A fangirl like you wouldn't get it." "Unless you're such a fangirl, you do get it." "Looks like she's the dumb one of the duo." Aaron mumbles out in comment at Su-Z's low intelligence. "You know fans can never get it." K-Lo scoffs out as Sunset tries to talk to them. "But I do. I wanted things to go perfectly, too. But now I know they never do." "Then we. Stop. Never!" Su-Z declared as the girls glare at one another. "Or…" Aaron steps forward as he dials the Darktrix. FLASH Both popstars' smiles dropped as they slowly gazed up at the large shadow towering over them, making them glance at each other and back at Quad Fist, cracking his knuckles as he towers over them. "I'll just take the Time Twirler, the hard way." He grasp K-Lo by her arms and holds her up. "Hey! Let go!" She struggles as Quad Fist reaches over and plucks the Time Twirler off her hair, dropping her as she fell with a thud. "Got it!" Quad Fist grins out as Sunset spoke out. "Great! Now, give it to us so we can store it away and stop the loop."
But the mutant walks away as he looks back with a smirk. "Actually, I'm thinking on keeping this little trinket." He smirks as he reverts back, flipping the artifact like a coin as the girls were shocked. "WHAT?!" "Why?!" Aaron cackles. "Please, Sunset? For someone who's supposed to be smart, you can dumb as a rock. Why do you think I was here in the Festival and stole your RV in the 1st place? See, I was hired to steal your journal." "What?!" 'You mean you were just helping us for money?!" Pinkie cries out in disbelief. "Of course! My client is paying me big bucks for that old dusty book of yours. Why? I don't care." Aaron shrugs out as he then grins out as he rubs his fingers. "All that I know is that I'm bound to get a bigger bonus when I bring this little baby in!" Aaron then turns into Sonic Boom. "See ya later, suckers!" He took off as Pinkie cries out. "Nooo! What do we do, Sunset?!" "We call in our alien shapeshifter." She whips out her phone and starts dialing.
Meanwhile with Dan, he was with the other Rainbooms as he munches on some Pizza as his phone went off and answers. "Hey Sunset." As Dan listens, his expressions kept changing as the others listens in, wondering what he is talking about. "Wait! Are you serious?! Time Twirler? Totally repeats the day with one click? Postcrush found it? Been using it to make the perfect show? Wait! Aaron is here?!" The girls were surprised as well! "He helped you? That's weird. Wait a sec! Hired?! To steal your journal!? Now he's got the Time Twirler?! Where is he!?" "THANKS FOR THE GRUB!" They all glanced over to see a speeding Sonic Boom past by some food stands to swipes some eats. "Never mind! I'm on it!" He hung up as Dan spoke out. "Sunset and Pinkie are over at the Main Stage with Postcrush, they'll fill you in on everything! I'll get Aaron." "Hey, Dan?! Give him one for using our friends." Rainbow Dash declares as he nods as they both fist bumped. Dan ran off as the Rainbooms did in the opposite direction.
As Aaron stopped and snacked on his treats, a hovering drown floats near him as Forever King's voice is heard. "Have you discovered the source of the disturbance in the Time Stream?" "Yeah! It's this thing called a Time Twirler. It works like a reset button for the whole day." Sonic Boom shows it as the camera zooms in. "Excellent! I can find some use for it. Bring it here along with Sunset's journal and you will be handsomely rewarded." "Yeah! I like the sound of that!" But just then, a Bluemerang knocks him into a tent stand, scaring the people away as he Sonic Boom got buried under merchandise, only to emerge as Rage as he roars out. "Hey, pussy cat! You have something that doesn't belong to you!" Shock Rock declares as the mutant alien tiger stomps forward and cracks his knuckles whiles stuffing the artifact into his vest. "Okay! I can't like not smash the dweeb now!" He then charges and slashed with his claws as he was blocked with a shield.
He then made a knight sword and shield and clashed blades with Rage while blocking with his shield as they duel. Shock Rock quickly punches the ground and extend his arms, leaping up high as he dodged some darts thrown by Rage as he counters with an electric dropkick that sent him back. Rage then roars out as he uses his namesake and grabs Shock Rock by his legs, slamming him on the ground and into tents as he cries out ."You are getting on my nerves, Tennyson! And I hate it when people gets on my nerves!" He chuckles Shock Rock into some tables as they broke as the Fulmini groans out as he rubs his head. 'Noted." Rage then changes at him, roaring out, only to get whacked away by an energy frying pan as Shock Rock stares at it. "I'm starting to think I've been hanging around Pinkie for too long."
Rage lands into another tent as he stood back up, just as the drone hovers near him. "Fighting Tennyson is not a part of the plan, Mr. Shade." "Yeah? Well, I changed it. and I'm not going until I pummel boulder face into the ground!" "Aaron! Don't you dare disobey me! You are supposed to bring Sunset's journal to me! You do not make alterations to the plan!" "Jeeze… talk about helicopter parenting." He scoffs out as he took the Time Twirler and places it on a nearby table and switches to Wildfire and blasted the drone apart.
As Wildfire and Shock Rock dukes it out again, Sunset and Pinkie, along with the others ran up to it, only for Postcrush to show up and swipes it. "Yes!" "K-Lo! Listen! That magic can be dangerous if you overuse it. I understand you want to have a perfect day. But I learned that you can't make everything go perfectly, no matter what you do. You have to work with what you got, instead of just resetting everything when nothing goes your way. You need to learn to let it go and adapt to your problems." "Now, hand over the Time Twirler, slowly, K-LO." Twilight spoke as the 2 looks at each other and back at the Time Twirler." "But… we found it 1st. It's ours." "NO! It's mine!" They all glanced up in shock as they see Forever King, flying on a rocket pack without his cape as he hovers above them. "Give me the Time Twirler and the Journal, Sunset Shimmer! Or you and your friends will suffer the consequences." He demands as he holds out an arm and fires a rocket from it as it was heading towards Postcrush! "LOOK OUT!" Applejack cries out as she and Pinkie tackles them away as the missile blew up, ending them flying as they slide to a stop and sees the Time Twirler sliding away, only to get stomped to pieces, causing some magic to be released and explodes into a heart shape puff of smoke.
"I don't get it. Why did you saved us after what we did your friends?" Su-Z asked as Pinkie smiles. "Cause that's what friends do, silly!" "Ahhh… Tennyson! I was hoping I can find you!" He fires lasers from his arms as both aliens got out of the way as the teens dodged as well. "What's the deal, man?!" Wildfire cries out as the Forever King replies "How dare you go behind my back?! You belong to me, Shade!" The King fries more lasers that Wildfires counters with flames, but was blasted away by one. As the mutant recovers, he saw Shock Rock puts a shield in front of them. "Listen! You want me out of your hair? Help me get rid of this guy!" "Seriously? You used my friends, stole an Equestria Artifact, trashed part of the Festival and now you want my help?!" "Is that a no?" Shock Rock face palms in response as he groans out. "Fine! But this better not be a trick!"
As Forever King kept wailing on Rarity's barrier, he cries out. "Give me your Journal, Sunset Shimmer! I am losing my patience with you!" "Never! And why do you want my Journal in the 1st place?!" But the king didn't respond as he is unaware of Shock Rock pulling back an energy slingshot as Wildfire is in the band. "And fire!" The alien hero cries out as the mutant flame alien was flung and fires flames behind himself, boosting his speed as the King turns around, just to see him changed into Wreckingbolt and curls, slamming into the king with great force that lunched him far into the skies without slowing down. The mutant lands on the ground with a thud as he uncurls himself as Shock Rock ran up. "Did we get him?" "Yeah… He's gone. He won't be coming back here." They both timed out as Dan asked Aaron. "Why were you working for that guy and who was he?" "He just hired me. Who says I'm working for him? Besides, you got me on his identity. I don't know who ether is. Later, Dummyson!" Aaron went off as Dan cries out. "Wait! I'm not done kicking your butt!" But the teen kept walking off as Dan just watches him leave the Festival.
At night, Postcrush were performing as Sunset and Pinkie were up on stage, dancing to there music as the rest of the Rainbooms were enjoying themselves as Dan can't help but wonder about that strange metal man that attacked them. Who was he? How does he know about him and Sunset and the others? And how did he found theme here and why is Aaron connected to them. "Hey, Twilight?" "Yeah?" She stopped dancing as he asked out. "What did you do with the Time Twirler's remains, threw it out?" "Me? I thought you have the remains?" "If I did, then why was I asking you?" "Well, we don't have the remains." Rarity spoke out as Rainbow askes the big question. "But If you don't have the remains and Sunset and Pinkie doesn't, who does?"
At the Forever King's stronghold, he looks back at Aaron walking up to him. "So, you have the nerve to disobey, lose your objectives and came crawling back?" "Yeah… Yeah. Sorry about losing Sunset's Journal. But I did managed to snag somethings." The boy smirks out as he dug into his jacket and places on the table the Time Twirler's remains, and some shattered red rubies connected to a black band. "I also found these in the Dazzlings' Van. Whatever they are, they seem pretty important as I also snag these. Notes about them." He places the note pad with details about the gems on as well as the Forever King studies them. "Interesting…. These jewels holds remains of Equestria Magic, but just a tiny amount. Perhaps there are more to these 'Dazzlings' then we thought. I'll have to research them." The king spoke as he displays some Holo-screens that soon display the Dazzlings on them.
