Chapter 41- Pregnant and Introductions

*Flashback*

It had been six weeks since HYDRA had forced Diana to marry the Soldier and eight weeks since they had kidnapped her. Diana had grown to love her husband and she loved obeying him. If he wanted to kiss her neck all she had to do was move her hair to give him access. Disobeying him had never entered her mind. He had told her one night while he was kissing her ear and neck that the serum had made her obedient to him. Diana couldn't argue with that as she realized how much she loved him and his gentle kisses.

Then Diana's hand went to her mouth. She had been feeling ill since James had gone almost a week ago on a mission. James. James was the name she had settled on for him and he seemed to like it. They had turned guessing his name into a kissing contest. If Diana was wrong she had to kiss her husband. By the time he had decided he liked James, Diana had suggested the most ridiculous names just so she could kiss him. By the time she suggested James, the twitch on her husband's lips let her know he was on to her. He even laughed at the silly names she suggested before pressing his lips to hers.

The door opened and James was dumped in, barely conscious. "James! James!" Diana said, lifting her husband into her arms and resting his head on her lap as she stroked his furrowed forehead and hair. Diana leaned over and kissed him tenderly, digging her fingers into his hair, relishing the softness of his hair. Diana almost stopped the kiss at the feel of a warm hand on her face. Diana's eyes opened and she looked into her husband's eyes.

"Diana," James whispered softly as she released his lips and pressed her head to his chest. He wrapped her tightly in his arms as he walked to a chair and sat down, placing Diana on his lap. Diana raised her fingertips to his temples and gently rubbed his head. While Diana was the one he never forgot every time they wiped him, James often complained that the wiping gave him a headache.

"James, why do they keep doing this?" Diana asked, touching the stubble on her husband's jaw with her small hand that she moved from his forehead.

"They don't want me thinking about missions," James said, slowly stroking her face and hair with his flesh hand.

"I hope you don't have to go on missions for a long time," Diana said. Diana hated the things HYDRA made him do as the Winter Soldier, but neither of them had a choice. James would be the Soldier and Diana's job was to be his wife and get pregnant with a child.

"Why do you wish that, doll"?" James asked.

"James, I haven't been feeling good since you left. I think I might be pregnant," Diana said, raising her head to look at James.

"Are you sure?" James asked, tracing her face with his hand, his thumb running over her full lips.

"Yes. I have been throwing up the last two or three days and I have been late," Diana said as his hand went to her still-flat stomach.

"Diana," James said as he kissed her hard.

"James, I'm scared. What is Karpov going to do to the baby?" Diana asked between kisses.

"He hasn't told me all his plans. All I know is that you were brought here to breed a new Winter Soldier. Now you're pregnant with my son or daughter," James said.

"James, I don't want the baby hurt," Diana said, as James nipped her ear gently.

"I'll talk with Karpov. Hopefully he'll agree to let us keep the baby and let me train it," James said.

"Can you do that?" Diana asked.

"Yes. Now be quiet and kiss me," James said, pressing his mouth to hers, effectively shutting her up as he deepened the kiss. Talking was never something James wanted to do while he was kissing her and Diana had figured out early to kiss James and not talk. And usually Diana didn't want to talk either.

Bucky woke up, his daughter and wife both asleep in his arms. After all these years apart from him, Elizabeth still slept like Bucky remembered. When she was small Elizabeth hated going to sleep unless he was there. She would cuddle into his chest as he sang songs to her in Russian. Bucky angled his head down to kiss his daughter's forehead as two men entered the living room. Steve stood and Elizabeth and Diana woke up.

"Stark, Dr. Banner," we wouldn't have come if it wasn't important," Steve said, shaking the men's hands.

"Of course. Hey, Catherine the Great," the man with the goatee said, teasing Elizabeth.

"Very funny, Tony. Just because I like reading about Russian history, that doesn't make me Catherine the Great. For one thing I am not a flirt like she was. One of her lovers was the king of Poland. I am not about to flirt with any guy," Elizabeth said, rolling her eyes.

"Jarvis, is that true?" Tony asked.

"Yes, Sir. Agent Markova had to be a joy to her history teachers," the precise voice of the AI said.

"I don't know about that, Jarvis. I didn't learn that in Russia. I learned that from just going to the library and reading books and seeing documentaries about the Tsars of Russia. Cold War Russia is not my favorite time period. I love the 300 years of Romanov rule. Of course, I got the Communist view of the Romanovs when I lived in Belarus," Elizabeth said, rolling her eyes.

"Communist view?" Tony asked.

"Yep. The whole nine yards about how the Tsar and his family deserved what Lenin did to them," Elizabeth said.

"What did Lenin do to them?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Murdered the Tsar, his wife, five kids, and a few family servants, and the doctor in the basement in Ekaterinburg," Elizabeth said.

"Bucky, this is Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. Tony, Bruce, this is my friend, Bucky Barnes and his wife, Diana," Steve said, making the introductions.

"I remember you," Bucky said, looking at Tony.

"Yeah, Buck, you do. This is our friend Howard's son. You remember Howard?" Steve asked.

"Yes. He wanted to invent a flying car," Bucky said. (A/N: Considering I have changed a lot of details in MCU, I am wondering if Bucky should tell Stark about murdering his parents Howard and Maria Stark. If I do, Tony wouldn't practically kill Bucky and Steve in Siberia as he would understand that Bucky was made to do so.)

"Bad idea. Cars don't fly," Elizabeth said.

"Dad liked the idea. He scrapped the idea when he realized a car would be too heavy to fly," Tony said.

"At least he figured that out. Uh, Stark, we need your help. You too, Dr. Banner," Elizabeth said, looking at the men.

"Okay. What do you need?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Could you look at Bucky and Diana's brains? HYDRA did things to both of them and we need to see the damage," Steve said.

"I'm not that kind of doctor," Banner said.

"Could ya try?" Elizabeth asked.

"Okay. Let's get down to our lab," Banner said as everyone went to the lab.
