Author's Note on Chapter 7
Dear readers,
I have made a grave mistake in my Fanfic, brought to my attention by deathbringer374. Before I mention what it is, please do not give him/her any hassle if you felt that the criticism was harsh or unwarranted, I need to hear it and deathbringer374 was kind enough to help me our by making sure that I would learn from my mistake.
I have crossed a line, I realize that now. I was ramping up the darkness of the fanfic without see where I should stop and made something in bad taste without meaning to. I sent a PM earlier apologizing for my error and drudging up bad memories without meaning to.
My use of references were terrible. I accidentally turned my Fanfic into a Frankenstein's monster of references and some of my ideas thrown in. I have see reference used in good ways and I did not handle it the way I thought I was. I hope I did not offence or insult anyone else with it.
The are going to be a few ways I change the way I do things. First, I am going to slow down to double exam everything and finally figure out how to sent my drafts out before I upload a chapter. Second, I am going to cut back on some of the horror and darkness so as to not cross the line again. Finally, no more references for now.
Goss darn, I am not kidding when I said that I felt so bad after reading the review that I felt a little weak in my legs for a few seconds. I might be taking this a bit too seriously, but I would rather overshoot my fixing rather than make the same mistake again.
I do not want to leave this fanfic unfinished, but if I think that I need to cut myself off form the fanfic because I think I cannot handle such serious content then I will just make an ending chapter summarizing all of the events that would happen and end the fanfic before going on to more light hearted stuff.
Shinji has probably said this a million times, but I'm sorry and I hope you all have a great day.
