Wife of Obsession - Discontinued

The fanfic is discontinued. Will be working on a new and improved version that will hopefully have remove some of the glaring and major flaws. This will stay up to show what is was originally and what lead to it to be discontinued. The rewrite is now up and going!

Dear readers,

I have come to a decision. I am starting over with Wife of Obsession. I have read a few reviews and started to thing about One of the resources that I am limited on. TIME!

I cannot continue Wife of Obsession and do a redo, but I have some ideas on how a few scenes could have gone better.

1. The powers started to become an excuse to get away with anything that I wanted. Either remove the powers or have them as a last minute trump card nearing the end. If I have them at the beginning I will have to make strick rules and regulations on what I can and cannot do.

2. The rape was terrible. I have a different idea that can be better handled, but at the same time handled in a way that will negatively affect Shinji and Asuka a bit worse than what I was originally going for. I might not eliminate it from the equation entirely, but I will be asking for help when it comes to these kind of things to keep it from ruining the new and improved fanfic.

3. This was as disjoined as the logic in my crackfic, to the point of being completely broken. SheriffJohnStone brought up the Horror tag and how I was not delivering on that aspect so much. I was going for the terror that lurked underneath what we cannot see, but I gave Asuka too much control over herself and the situation. Again the powers did not help, even though the powers could make her scarier since normal means cannot stop her.

4. I was planning on having Asuka making Shinji so dependent on her that he would let her kill anyone: Rei, Misato, Kaji, etc. but the way it was heading no one would even know that something was wrong with them.

5. Cut down on the references. I put way too much! I like references like when a funny joke is told, but it was taking away on the fanfic being my own.

There will be a few things that I might keep, but expect an overhaul. I feel bad at coming to this decision right after asking you guys, but I have to do what I can to make this a good fanfic.
