Noelle had the opportunity to quickly check her watch she'd been hiding between her thighs before the alien noticed and confiscated it from her person. She saw that it was around 3pm, on a Thursday. It had been two days already then...maybe. Her brows drew together in scattered thought. She'd be getting off work right about now, and probably going to the grocery store to pick up some stuff for dinner. Mmm...dinner...She swallowed the pooling saliva collecting in her cheeks at the idea of real food, but pushed it away in lieu of more pressing problems. Noelle recounted back to the alien dude's robot voice...asking to identify herself. She had no idea how to react to it at the time. So she had just remained stock still. It was obvious this annoyed her abductor, but that mechanical voice really freaked her the hell out. Noelle shook herself out of it and remembered his reaction to her watch; he acted like it was dangerous or something, and that gave her the urge to smirk, but ultimately she didn't. Not in front of him, anyway. For all she knew he'd probably take it as a challenge to kill him or something.. Add that to the fact that she had no idea when he'd be back. She didn't want to risk it.

He had no pattern or routine when he'd return. But when he did, he'd just come to just look at her, like stare for a long period of time, or go in the shower in the connecting bathroom. Oh yeah, the alien was a he, that fact destroyed any apprehension or curiosity concerning his sex in her mind. When it happened, Noelle didn't outright stare at his...thing, but she could easily see everything from her translucent makeshift-kennel that sat in what she surmised was his room. It's where she watched the male alien strip down to his more...gentle version(?)-without the weapons, before he'd go into his tub-thing.

The idea gave her pause. Could she even call him gentle? Noelle shook her head, golden bamboo earrings clanging. Gentle probably wasn't even a word they had, judging by how he resorted to plain violence every time he'd interact with her. It had become increasingly clear when slung her around by her arm after she screamed at him for touching her hair and treating her like a zoo animal when she was forced to board this damn thing.

Noelle heaved a sigh and her eyes trailed to the large window adjacent to her kennel; it was hard to tell that the craft was even moving with the vast black just outside. There was nothing different to note there was motion. She could barely make out the hum of the ship's efforts to go, well, wherever the alien man was planning to go.

A hiss broke the room's silence, followed by a subtle mist as the door to the room opened. Seeing him standing there at the threshold made her eyes roll. His chest heaved in deep, even breaths, tendons tensing all down his arms to clawed hands that kept unraveling and becoming fists again.

"Back already. Great." Noelle waved a hand exasperatedly in his direction, her bangles jingling. She always preferred when he stayed away, so she could be alone with her own assumptions and daydreams to rid herself of this unknown place, even if it was for a few hours-give or take. Plus his face was scary. How was she supposed to know when he'd wear his helmet thing or not?

Noelle's eyes darted over, once-overing him in the doorway. Okay, masked face. She noted that he indeed looked different this time, like he always did when he'd come back. This time it was two large, jagged lacerations whorled around his right thigh. There was nothing leaking from the wounds, but it looked a bit crusted over, like a scab. He couldn't have gotten it too long ago, but it was a scab already? Noelle scoffed and shook her head incredulously, her flattening fro bouncing with her movement. A familiar snort sounded near her ear and she jolted slightly in surprise. She returned a resentful huff of her own and glowered at him. The alien male offered a ricketing chirrup as he raised to full height, head slanting to one side in curiosity.

Nua'di couldn't figure out the human's issue. It is a human, right? He pondered, then chuffed to himself. He wished he had access to the clan database right now concerning humans. The thought of making a stupid mistake such as that made him feel weak, incompetent even. Imagine- taking the wrong being off its planet and wasting his time. Though his guilty conscience slithered to the forefront of his thoughts, offering memories of his broken Path, and the cause for that was definitely a stupid mistake in itself. He shook his head, shoving those memories and feelings deep within, his tresses moving about him as he did so.

His gaze levelled on his human again, trying to figure out why it wasn't furious or fighting back to earn freedom from the cage. It made no sense to him. What he heard from the clan's most esteemed warriors was starkly different. There's no way this human was anywhere near honorable prey. He refused to believe such a thing. It just sat there unmoving, almost accepting its fate, but oddly would watch him intently when he'd enter the quarters. Nua'di decided he would try and appraise this human again, this time without its wrist computer. His claws clicked against a touch pad just outside the kennel, and with a hiss the door unlocked. Nua'di strode past the doorway and noticed the human's frame shaking. Trembling? It was afraid-judging by the increased heat and thumping in its chest.

Nua'di snorted in dismissal and reached down to grab Noelle by her arm. Apparently it was too tight of a hold. "Get your goddamn hands off me! That shit hurts let me the fuck go!" Her small hand balled up, bringing down all her strength and pummeling the same spot in Nua'di's forearm. It didn't necessarily hurt, but he felt it, especially the metal adornments on its fingers. This made him click his tusks in slight amusement. So it did fight. Good. His purple gaze reverted back to the human as he slid it out of the cage and into the open room. Noelle was too preoccupied in trying to get released punching and thrashing; she hadn't noticed she wasn't in the kennel anymore.

Noelle grew silent under the new recessed light of the room, and blinked in confusion, her hands growing limp and watching the alien-guy drop his grasp from her forearm. She glanced at the area he'd been squeezing and guessed it'd probably bruise later. From there though, it seemed he was just...sizing her up. She was getting dizzy from how much he circled her, and how much she turned to follow his gaze; like a vulture, or maybe a tiger does to its prey. This made her stiffen. The muscles in her calves and shoulders bunching in anxiety. How was she supposed to know if this was how he ate his food or killed things he wanted to kill? She didn't know, and that made the sweat that was pooling at her temples pearl and slide down the high apples of her cheeks.

Nua'di's mask was feeding him all the information on the human's body responses. Including the one he started to smell for himself. Without another thought he pulled at his biohelm's tubing, and released the seal to his face. He placed the mask to the belt against his hip, then opened his mandibles in one movement. He inhaled, a gentle musk greeted him, feminine in nature though the end notes were slightly bitter. Not necessarily acrid, but one with bite. A scent he could read and surmise that this was definitely a female human. A good smelling one at that.

Noelle cocked her head and her features twisted in disgust. Again with the without-the-mask thing. He was breathing hard too. What the hell was his problem now? "See this is the shit that makes me really wanna go home. You too creepy for me." She shook her head, her coils freely bouncing now that she had nothing to protect it from the environment. Her face lit up for a moment. Speaking of the environment...how...how was she even breathing? In the room or the cage? Her eyes travelled to her capture's face. "How am I even alive in here? And what the hell do you want from me?"

He paused, then a robotic voice replied from his wrist again. She hated that damn voice. "Identify yourself, and then you will have an answer."

She raised a brow. "What do you mean, 'identify myself?"

The alien huffed indignantly, clicking and grunting with vowel sounds peppered in between into his device. "Name. What are you called? Are you a human?"

Noelle waited and listened intently for the translation, fluttering her eyes closed irritatedly when she heard the computer speak and grumbled, pinching the bridge of her nose as she did so. "You gotta to be fucking kidding me. Ain't no way." She shook her head, tons of thoughts crashing and swirling around in her head; one of the few in the forefront being he kidnapped her without even knowing what the hell she was.

Nua'di tilted his head at this. His translator could only pick up so many words of what the female just said. So little he didn't understand her response. Noelle's gaze levelled on him, and she sighed heavily. Her shoulders sagging down to their original posture, a look of resignation washed over her features. "Noelle. My name is Noelle Harvey. Yes, I'm human."

Nua'di clicked his tusks in confirmation, trying his human's intriguing name on his own tongue. "No'el Har'vii." Noelle's brows raised in surprise upon hearing the alien's own voice. It sounded nothing like the robot, and it was significantly lower. Honestly lower than any deep-bass voice she's ever heard. His pronunciation wasn't that far off, and she imagined it would be as close as it gets, after finding out his kind indeed had their own language; it just sounded nothing like hers.

A blaring noise cut through the thick of their drawn out silence, and Nua'di wordlessly turned on his heel and stalked down the hallway to his cockpit. Unbeknownst to him the human had followed, though at a much more leisurely pace, as she felt no sense of danger. Not yet.

She reached his destination, though hesitated to enter, getting the feeling she probably shouldn't, so she settled for watching silently with her neck craned around the doorway and eyes peering in. Her eyes flickered over to the front of the alien and saw the glowing outline of another one of the alien-people on the screen. She guessed they were doing something similar to facetime, and talking about something important, though deemed it unimportant to herself, as she couldn't "speak alien". Coming to this conclusion, she went to creep back down the hallway. Though without warning she was lifted by her middle and brought into the cockpit with her kidnapper.

Noelle grunted and wriggled in Nua'di's grasp, though his iron-like hold paid no heed to her want for freedom. Amidst her struggle she heard her alienized name and paused her feeble attempt at escape. She shot a look at the alien holding her, then at the alien outline on the screen. What did he say to the other one? As a matter of fact, why was she here at all?
