Disclaimer: To everyone reading this chapter, there's gonna be a song up ahead. The song is called 'The Moon Rises' though I'll only be using half of the song in this case to get the point across .Be sure to look at the Extended version and for reference, I altered the lyrics to fit the story because it wouldn't fit if I used the original. It may not perfectly line up but it's the best I can do.

With Samuel's birth, almost everyone was in high spirits. I say almost, because Lucifer wasn't exactly happy about his wife having his brother's baby and now having to care for said baby within the walls of his very Mansion. He knew he couldn't physically do anything about it but he still felt a bit bitter over it.

Still, the cheating was one of the smaller concerns Lucifer had at the moment.

Despite all seeming well, Lucifer couldn't help but feel something was wrong with Micheal. He hadn't said while everyone was present, but he swore the moment he saw him and Ada come through the roof, something wasn't right about him.

Normally he'd chalk this up to Micheal having killed another demon in cold blood but even then, it didn't appear Micheal was too shaken up over the ordeal. In fact, he seemed rather apathetic to the fact he killed Asmodeus, brushing it off and casually informing him of his demise as if they were talking about the weather.

Now don't get Lucifer wrong, he really disliked Asmodeus. Like he REALLY disliked him and it wasn't just Lucifer who had that opinion.

Out of all the Deadly Sins, he was probably the one who was hated the most(and that was really saying something). Even amongst their inner circle, most of the other Deadly Sins were wary of him due to his inability to respect personal space and had to constantly tell him off that they weren't interested. Lucifer himself had to not-so-subtly threaten Asmodeus just to get him to back off.

On several occasions, Lucifer contemplated killing Asmodeus whenever he got too close for comfort but ultimately withheld from this action solely because he didn't have anyone to replace him in the event of his death. As fun it would've been to kill him, Lucifer knew it'd be a massive pain in the ass to find someone to take his place...

With Micheal erasing his soul, Lucifer would likely have to scout out a replacement anyway, which was probably the only true downside to Asmodeus being killed.

In all honesty, he'd probably just find the countless children Asmodeus fathered and dumped out on the streets and choose the most stable/suitable candidate.

Though the issue Lucifer was having was Micheal's change in behaviour. It wasn't like he was expecting Micheal to break and cry over killing someone in cold blood, but he expected him to look a bit disappointed he had to resort to erasing someone from existence to solve the problem.

Instead, Micheal seemed rather...apathetic to the point where he talked about killing Asmodeus the same way you'd talk about mowing the overgrown weeds in your lawn.

It didn't help that it appeared something about Micheal changed that day and it wasn't for the better. He could just feel something wasn't right about him.

As Lucifer's thoughts went rampant on the subject of his brother, he couldn't help but hear Micheal's voice not too far ahead.

When he chose to investigate, Lucifer was taken off guard when he saw Micheal mumbling to himself. He couldn't hear him completely but he did make out the words 'How dare they banish me' and 'Ungrateful bastards'.

"Grievances with Heaven?" Lucifer called out,"Don't worry, Micheal. You're not the only one with issues…"

Micheal's back straight, noticeably taken off guard before turning to Lucifer and relaxing,"Oh...It's you...I didn't see you there, brother. What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're stalking me, are you?"

"Please, I have better things to do with my time than intentionally stalk your every move. I was just walking around the Mansion when I heard you yelling over here. I take it you're still upset about the banishment, right?"

"Obviously…" He grumbled,"Why wouldn't I be upset? Heaven is MY kingdom and they stole it away from me without even saying a word to my face about the matter."

"Micheal I get you're upset but there's nothing you can really do about the situation. If the other Arch-Angels don't unban you then you're pretty much stuck in Hell and I doubt they're gonna let you rule if they do or take Samuel with you for that matter…"

"I know…" Micheal growled,"Don't remind me...I'm well aware they wouldn't approve of Samuel's existence."

"So are you going to accept it? I mean, it's been over a month and they STILL haven't even told us if you're allowed back in. I don't know about you but I'm gonna take that as a sign you're stuck down here for good. Maybe it's time to start from scratch again, especially since our siblings are having massive headaches at the moment. After all, if you're not allowed to rule Heaven, why not rule Hell?"

"What?"

"Micheal, you've proven to be more than capable of ruling over Hell when you acted in my place for over a month. While I greatly doubted your capabilities, you did much better than I anticipated. Considering you're likely down here for good, it'd be such a waste to not allow your skill-set to be used. We can rule this realm together…"

"I'll pass," Micheal said,"As much I'd love to agree, I don't feel right giving up on my original Kingdom just yet. Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to have to decline on that note…"

Lucifer raised an eyebrow,"Why bother? They're not going to accept you back after what you did. May as well cut your losses and find a better option."

"I understand your concern, Lucifer. And I really do appreciate you trying to reach out, but I'm not giving up just yet. Heaven is MY kingdom and I won't let anyone, not even my own siblings take it from me without a say in it."

"But they already banished you. You can't go back to Heaven and you know it. What's the use in chasing after a Kingdom that won't welcome you back anyway?"

"Who says they have to welcome me? I'll find a way to Heaven, one way or another…" He replied slowly, a chill slowly running down Lucifer's spine. His brother's tone was too calm for his liking and it was enough to put him on edge.

Giving his brother a bewildered stare, he curiously asked what he meant by this,"What do you mean by one way or another? What are you planning?"

Micheal didn't respond, walking past Lucifer without another word. As he brushed by him, Lucifer swore he saw the whites of Micheal's eyes vanish and turn black for just a split second.

The King Of Hell remained silent as his brother walked away from him, a wave of unease setting him. He was tempted to go after Micheal but he knew his brother would respond very coldly if he dared to follow him.

He sighed,'Maybe I'll ask Ada to talk to him later on...He likes her more than me…'

Eventually, night fell and most residents of the Mansion took their opportunity to clock out for the night when it was getting late, shutting off the lights to their rooms and hitting the sheets. Everyone except Micheal that is, who continued to walk around the halls of his brother's home.

He passed by the rooms of the other residents, seeing several lights turning off in the process,'Seems like everyone's going to bed for now. Hope they sleep well….' As he walked by the rooms, he noticed that Samuel's room was left slightly ajar."Hm? Why is the door open? Maybe Lilith left it that way by accident...I hope…"

Curious, he decided to take a peek inside and check on his son. As he peeked his head through, Micheal nearly

"It's empty!? No, that can't be right!" He quickly rushed over in a panic, now cursing his luck,'I just got that baby! How could we have lost him already!? He's got to be around here somewhere!'

Micheal was sweating bullets, he was about to tear this entire Mansion apart piece by piece if it meant finding his son. And if someone took him...well he'd just 'get rid of them' so to speak…

That was at least until something from above jumped on him from above.

"Gah!" He gasped in surprise and turned, seeing Samuel had landed on his back,"Samuel! There you are!" He quickly grabbed him and hugged him tightly,"Sweet Heavens, you nearly gave me a heart attack!"

Samuel giggled.

"No! Not funny!" He chided, wagging his finger at him,"Bad baby! That was not funny, Samuel! You scared me! I thought something had happened to you!"

The baby's face faltered, tears welling up in his eyes.

"H-Hey, no need to cry, Samuel. I'm not mad at you, I'm just upset you made me think something happened to you." He then paused,"By the way, how did you even jump on me? You can't even walk and yet you somehow managed to lunge at me like a spider…"

Samuel concentrated for a moment before a pair of white wings sprouted from the back of his onesie.

"Oh...I see. You used your wings and hid on the ceiling in order to get the jump on me. How clever. I didn't think you'd have access to your wings this early. You're really something special, Samuel. Though I do believe it's past your bedtime. There's been enough fun and games today and I don't believe letting you stay up would be a good idea…"

The baby whined in response, latching onto Micheal's shoulder and hanging onto him tightly, babbling and pulling on his hair.

"Lemme guess, you're not tired at all, are you?"

Samuel shook his head.

Micheal made a face,"Well in that case, perhaps taking you along with me isn't a bad idea. Not like you'll go to sleep anyway. Besides, a bit of father-son bonding time wouldn't hurt and what Lilith doesn't know won't kill her…"

Samuel squealed only for Micheal to put a finger up to his lips,"Hush. We're still here in the other rooms. We can't wake anyone up…"

Samuel quieted down at this, clinging to his father's shoulder as they walked out of the playroom. Micheal walked onward, going past the other rooms, getting far enough away to where he was certain the rest of the Mansion wouldn't be able to hear them.

"I believe we're safe now. Now we can do as we please…" He smiled warmly at his son before noticing his son was struggling to say something,"Samuel?"

"Ma...ma...Ma...ma…"

"What!?" Micheal actually tensed up, fearing that Lilith would come storming down the hallway to reprimand him for letting the baby stay up. Thankfully, when he saw Samuel was alluding to it, the tension of the situation evaporated. It was just a painting of Lilith, along with Charlie and Lucifer. It looked like it had been taken several centuries ago as Charlie appeared to an infant in the photo."Oh...It's just a family portrait. Looks Lucifer got someone to paint him a picture of his most treasured moments…"

Samuel then gave Micheal a look.

"You must be wondering why we don't have one. Well, to be frank, your existence was more or less a one night stand. It wasn't really supposed to happen. Your mother thought I was your uncle and I was too out of it to really say otherwise. We regretted it by the morning but by then, it was too late to go back and Lilith wanted to keep you despite everything. And I'm glad she did, because now I have the most precious creature in the whole wide world alongside me. Everything about this would be just perfect if it weren't for them."

His son stared at him in a confused manner.

"Who am I talking about? My other siblings of course. They're back up in Heaven while Lucifer and I are down here in Hell. Though unlike Lucifer, I don't actually want to be here. Especially now that you exist. My decisions are now infringing on your future and had we been in a perfect World, you'd be the Prince Of Heaven. However because of the way you came to be, my siblings decided to 'punish' me by stranding me here. I don't even know if they intend to let me out of this prison at all. It's so unfair. After all the things I've done for them, all the eons I've served it all means nothing now. They've shunned me without even saying a proper goodbye. They've gone too far, way too far…"

They had taken his throne from him and now they were denying his child access to the Kingdom of heaven. This was the final straw, this offense couldn't be tolerated and Micheal's patience waned day by day. He had hoped maybe they'd let him back in, but this hope had since extinguished itself by now.

They had taken everything from him, his fame, his prestige, his ability to naturally travel to Heaven. They had taken everything from him and now they were not only denying him the throne, but they were denying his child a chance to Rule Heaven as well thanks to this exile…

'They've gone too far..Something has to be done…'

Micheal then stood near a large window, he noticed the moon of the Pride Sector reigned above them, positioned to where it was in the shadow of the sky….

He then snapped,"Am I so wrong to wish that they would see things like I do? And am I so wrong to think that they'd still love me too?" He grit his teeth, clutching his chest as he did his best to hide the pain he was in.

Samuel patted his shoulder, staring at his father with wide eyes full of sympathy.

His tone then grew with conviction, grabbing the wreath from his head and clutching it tightly, threatening to tear it in two with his grip.

"Why shouldn't they adore me? Is it not within my right!?" I'll not be overshadowed after the years I've served Heaven's light!" A lone tear strolled down his face as he tossed the wreath aside, clutching the side of his face as his sclera turned black permanently, his head cast downwards.

"I've waited long enough now, for them all to come around! And no matter what they plead or threaten, an angel always stands their ground…"

The Former King of Heaven then approached the balcony, eyeing the skies of Hell.

With a newfound determination burning in his eyes, he spread his wings before taking flight, Samuel clinging onto him tightly as they flew upward.

When he reached over the skies, he could see it. He could see all of Hell from here and the view was downright beautiful despite it being a city of degeneracy and sin.

Sighing sadly he looked up at the skies.

Despite not being able to physically see Heaven, Micheal knew it was up there and that was the target of his ire. It was time to make a decision and his Lust for the throne was too much to ignore..

"It comes to this at last, I shall no longer stand idly by if they cannot love their rightful king alone!"A twisted grin grew on his face, eyes widening with crazed delight, already going mad at the idea of ruling Heaven again,"See, an angel's rising, he has come to reclaim the Heavens as his own!"

All sadness in his voice vanished, replaced with a thirst for power,"All shall beg for mercy, when I burst through heaven's skies! When all the world is trapped with nowhere else to hide!"

Micheal sang as he darted forward, flying higher so that he could see just a small glimpse of Heaven, the planet that was his home seemed like it was just an arm's reach…

But he knew better…

He then eyed Heaven maliciously, singing as if his siblings could hear him,"So say goodnight at this, the final setting for them all!" Micheal took a swan dive beneath the moon before rising, his appearance heavily altered as he voice became corrupted completely,"The time is nigh upon us! Heaven's Kingdom shall be MINE!"

Samuel's eyes widened when he looked at his father's form. Micheal's form had changed drastically thanks to the magic that had enveloped his form, now wearing black and gold robes in place of his suit.

Two more additional sets of wings had emerged from his back. A halo hung on the back of his head with two curved horns protruding from his head. His clothes had also changed to resemble robes with black high heel boots on his feet.

Micheal then turned to Samuel and gave him a comforting smile,"There's no need to be so worried, my child. This is just a necessary change in order to conquer the throne. I promise that despite my looks, it's still me…" He 'booped' his son's nose, chuckling when Samuel giggled in response."It's going to be alright my child. Heaven will be ours and you will rule once you are old enough. This is your rightful destiny and I'll make sure that it happens…"

He then paused, he could feel someone watching him. He turned his head back to the Mansion and noticed Ada was watching him from afar. He didn't know how long she had been there, but he knew it was long enough to see him flying about.

Without another word, he teleported to her location, starting momentarily."Hello Ada, enjoying the view my dear?"

"Micheal…" She backed away momentarily,"What happened to you?"

He brushed his bang back confidently,"Oh this? Just my new 'style'. Do you like what you see?"

Ada said nothing in response. She knew better than to goad him, especially since it was pretty obvious something was wrong with Micheal's internal framework. He may be attractive but she sure as hell wasn't complimenting him after overhearing him sing about conquering Heaven to reclaim the throne. She could tell his mind was clouded with lust for power and for what he had lost and that letting him off the hook would be borderline irresponsible.

"Micheal...you need help."

"Pardon?"

"You need help, Micheal,"She repeated,"Something isn't right up in that head of yours. You'd never do this in your right mind, something is clearly influencing your decisions. No wonder Lucifer wanted me to check on you if this is what you've been up to you. You even got your damn son wrapped up into this plot."

"Aw, that's so sweet of him. Too bad I really don't need anyone to check on me. I'm more than capable of handling myself. And for that matter, Ada, I'd appreciate you not insinuating otherwise…"

"I wouldn't if it wasn't true,"She growled,"I know something is fucking with your mind. You can't tell me otherwise. Lucifer needs to know about this because you've lost your damn mind and can't think clearly…"

Without warning, Micheal suddenly grabbed her and covered her mouth before she could scream.

She tried to bite him but despite piercing into him, Micheal brushed it off completely."Unfortunately, Ada, I can't allow you to do that. I didn't want to do this but you're giving me no other choice..."

She tried to say something but all that came out here muffled this, Micheal still seemed to somewhat understand what she was saying.

"No Ada, this isn't the part where I'm going to kill you. Quit being dramatic," He replied, rolling his eyes at this accusation,"Believe me, Ada. We both know if I wanted you dead this wouldn't even be a conversation. But, I've been thinking and since I'm going to be reclaiming my throne from my siblings, it would get a bit lonely once I deal with them. And what better way to solve loneliness than to bring home a wife?"

Once again, she tried to protest this but couldn't properly communicate thanks to Micheal's hand being over her mouth.

He grabbed her chin,"Oh don't be silly. Nobody is going to hurt you up there, not if they value their lives that is. And your soul contract will be dealt with. I'm certain once I deal with my siblings I can convince him to let you go. But before any of that happens, I think it's time I find us a place to set up camp. I need you and Samuel to be nice and safe before I do anything and since you're not cooperating I'll have to move you there through other means…"

Before she could understand what that meant, Micheal used his magic to knock her unconscious. He then carried her into his arms before turning to Samuel who looked concerned,"Don't worry son, she's just taking a 'nap'. By the time she wakes up I'll have everything set up. I have plans in mind and I don't want to risk the safety of those I care about for it..."

Micheal then took off into the skies with his wings, leaving with Ada and Samuel while only leaving stray feathers behind on the balcony...

Thanks for 12,644 views, tell me what you think below! BTW, the reason Micheal has six wings is because I've seen tons of fan art of Lucifer having six wings and I imagine they never really use them unless they are in battle against someone who can hurt them. The most powerful arch-angel have six while the rest have four from what I heard.

And if anyone's curious since I'm not good with clothing details, go search up 'Hazbin Lucifer armor' and you'll see fan art of Lucifer and Lilith in battle armor. Just imagine that's what Micheal's robes look like since it'd be hard to write down on a doc.

Enigmus-288: Well Samuel is just the ray of sunshine, Micheal is a bit...what's the word again? Oh yeah, semi possessed. He destroyed Asmodeous's form, but his soul kind of merged with him before he could fully erase him. Guess what the that means..
