Samuel walked down the the mansion, approaching a stairwell. He could hear voices from afar, his heart pounding internally as he walked past the walls littered with family portraits and other decorations.

Up ahead, he could see a stairway, a stairway that led to a ballroom area where everyone was waiting for him. He froze as he looked at the portraits of his siblings on the wall. Back when everyone was happy and they were all together.

'Times sure have changed haven't they?' He asked himself before sighing,'Oh well. Time to face the music. They're all waiting for me out there.' A bead of sweat trickled down his face,'Keep it together, be strong and show no emotion. The sooner I'm out there, the quicker I can leave…'

He regained his confidence, forcing a neutral expression on his face as he moved headed toward the steps, revealing himself slowly to see an entire ballroom of people. He gripped the hand rail tightly, clinging onto it for support.

'Come on Samuel, you can do this. The ceremony hasn't taken place, maybe I'll be able to keep my head down if I don't make eye contact…'

"Brother, you've come down at last!"

'Dammit!' He cursed to himself, looking up in annoyance to see Micheal waving at him with the widest smile in history. He was hoping he could've blended into the crowd but Micheal hadn't even given him the opportunity to do so.

Sighing, he reluctantly headed on over to Micheal, dismayed when he saw Gabriel standing beside him with a look of bemusement on their face.

"Wow," They said,"And here I thought you were kidding about him being here, Micheal. I thought this was some sort of twisted joke…"

"You know I'd never joke about something like this," He replied,"Come on now, have a bit of faith in me…"

Gabriel narrowed their eyes,"Regardless, are you certain bringing him back here is a good idea?"

"Gabriel! I thought you'd be happy that he's come back!"

"It's not that I'm not happy, it's just that my feelings are a bit dampened when we all have been inconvenienced with all the dead coming up here. Leo has been complaining that he keeps witnessing people die before their time due to demonic intervention and even Azrael is getting tired of reaping souls who just so happen to meet their end the same way the others do every week. It's getting on all of our nerves how his irresponsibility has inconvenienced the rest of us! Leroy's already damaged his mental health by looking into so many people's minds eons ago and he's getting worse trying to be a psychiatrist to all these people! This needs to stop!"

"And it will," Micheal assured,"He's staying up here to rule alongside me so that we set things straight together."

"You trust him that much? How can you be sure this isn't a trick?"

He scoffed,"Gabriel, I understand your concern but trust me, I've got this under control. There's nothing to worry about. I promise it's not a trick. As hard as it is to believe, he really does need help and this is the only place he can get it. Everyone else in Hell has already turned their backs on him, even his wife and child are giving him the cold shoulder. He came crawling back to me and while I was skeptical, it became rather apparent how desperate he if you don't believe me, I suggest you look him in the eyes and see for yourself…"

There was a moment of pause as Gabriel did just that. They tensed, appearing apprehensive the longer they looked at him.'Good Heavens...what happened to him?'

They had never seen their brother look so defeated before. All the confidence had been sucked out of his body, replaced with this melancholic slump. He was even rubbing his arm, refusing to make eye contact with either of them.

Normally they'd suspect he was acting, but if there was one thing they knew about him, it was that he was terrible at acting sad. Sadness was one of the few emotions he just couldn't emulate properly as no matter how expressive his face was, his eyes usually gave him away from his true feelings.

Meaning either he upped up his game or that he was genuinely upset and Gabriel was starting to lean on the latter idea just because of how out of it he appeared.

It was like they were looking at a different person than the sibling they knew, because their brother looked like a husk of his former self. His body was still there, but his personality had been heavily altered to the point you couldn't even recognize him as the same person.

The aspiring confidence, that ever present smile, it was all gone, replaced with a dreary cloud of melancholy and an emotionless expression. It wasn't even a frown, just a completely blank expression.

"Lucifer?" They called out, attempting to reach out to him,"Are you still there?"

There was no response, he hadn't even reacted to his 'name' being called despite clearly being in hearing range. It was as if the lights were on, but nobody was home...

"Why isn't he responding? He can clearly hear me…"

"Probably because he's not registering the name you're calling him as his own…" Micheal admitted, having caught on to his brother's change,"Let me try...Hey, Samuel? Are you alright? You're still with us, right?"

As if a light switch had been flickered on, Samuel had snapped back from his daze and said,"Yes. I'm…alright…I just...lost track of time that's all…" He rubbed his head,"Now tell me, is the ceremony starting soon?"

"It'll be starting an hour from now. We've got plenty of time before that happens. The others are around and I'm certain they've missed you just as much as we have. Why don't you go pay them a visit before the big event?"

He shrugged,"I guess I will. I don't exactly have anything better to do…" He then trudged off to go find his other siblings, leaving Micheal and Gabriel behind.

"Brother?" They asked,"Are you certain that him staying here is a good idea? He doesn't look well. You can't possibly think him staying here is a good idea…"

"It's better than him going back to that awful pit," Micheal said flatly,"Besides, if we don't take him...who will? At this point, Samuel only has us left and I doubt he'll be able to function if we abandon him as well. He's already a shell of his former self, if we push him away he'll just become worse."

Gabriel's worried expression didn't falter, still uncertain about this knew Micheal was right...but that didn't make them any less concerned.

Back in Hell, everyone else was trying to move on with their lives. The recent news had caused a rift between the group as those like Vol and Husk, who were still not over the events, ended up becoming recluse. Vol had locked himself in his room, only allowing Velvet to come inside to lay with him since she was 'lonely'.

And at the moment, Husk was downing a bottle of alcohol in a desperate attempt to soothe the pain.

Of course, this really didn't do anything because of one specific factor…

The injuries he sustained during the fight had fucked up his insides to the point Baxter had to replace all of his organs with robotic parts to ensure he'd be able to function. Hell, he was particularly wearing his heart on the outside with the power source implanted in his chest and while he had gotten used to it,
there was one thing he couldn't get used to…

The fact he couldn't consume alcohol like he used to.

Sure, he could drink it just fine, it's just that it didn't have any effect on him. He could drink the hardest liquor in Hell and still not get drunk. He didn't know what Baxter did to his body, but whatever he did had made it so he couldn't get intoxicated.

And believe me, Husk fucking tried to get drunk, especially in the first few months of him coming to terms he was a cyborg. He was so miserable he tried to drink himself to death again only to become confused when nothing happened after he drank for several hours straight. Nothing stuck.

"Fucking hell," He growled,"This is pointless. I may as well be drinking water. What's the point of drinking if it feels like you're sober all the time? And it's like my taste buds got fucked too because it's like I'm drinking metallic water. Why do I even bother?"

"Fair question,why do you bother?"

He jumped before momentarily revealing his metal claws from his robotic arm, baring his teeth.

Alastor didn't seem too fazed, gently pushing Husk's paw away,"Now now, Husker. There's no need to be so hostile. It's just me, Alastor. Just not the one you're familiar with of course…"

"Yeah, I can see…" He scoffed before lowering his arm,"What the fuck do you want, Al? Can't you see I'm trying to drink my sorrows away here?"

"And how does that appear to be working out for you?" He inquired,"We both know drinking does you no good, especially with your body unable to process it the same way when you used to."

"Doesn't fucking matter. I'm already dead and it's not like my liver is going to give out."

"But pray tell, what's the point of drinking if you can't get drunk in the first place? Especially since it seems like alcohol tastes more akin to water to you anyhow…"

"I mean, what else am I going to do? Alcohol is the one thing that kept me going throughout all this shit. The only difference is I can't taste it anymore. I may as well be drinking flavored water because nothing I drink or eat has any actual effect."

"Do you even need to eat or drink anymore?"

He shook his head,"Not anymore. I don't know what Baxter did to me, but it really fucked up my biology because I lost everything that made me a person. I don't need to eat, sleep or drink for that matter. Hell, I can't remember the last time I ate, I only drink nowadays…"

"Husker, that's not healthy…"

"Why the fuck does it matter if it's healthy?" He asked,"I stopped giving a fuck about my health a while ago and my organs literally don't process any of this shit negatively so I don't get why it matters. It's not like I need to eat anymore. Face it, I stopped being a normal demon with normal requirements to function over a year ago, Al. Your sentiment would be understandable if I wasn't a cyborg but since I am, my health is more or less irrelevant."

"I don't mean physically, I mean mentally…"

He groaned,"Oh great, don't tell me you're gonna lecture me like I'm five are you? I don't need some stupid pep-talk abut how my mind is fragile and shit. Charlie's given me enough lectures as it is and I'm going to rip my fur off if I have to listen to her again."

"Husker, I'm not going to lecture you. I'm just saying that perhaps you should try a different coping mechanism? Especially since drinking doesn't even give you any side effects that may have once made it promising."

"Like what? The only thing I know how to do is play cards but even that gets old. It's hard to pass the time when you know you're stuck as a cyborg for the rest of your life…"

"I get it looks pretty bad, but at least you're alive.."

"Physically," He corrected,"I may still be around physically but my soul and mind are completely dead. A part of me dies each day. So much in fact to the point I don't even feel pain, just emptiness."

Alastor sighed,"Husk, I understand you're in pain but-"

"No, no, you fucking don't. You don't get what I'm going through. No one here does. I was already a shell of the man I used to be when I fell down here but now I've basically lost it all. The only thing left is a scrap of a personality and even then, I don't know how long it is until I completely become distanced from everything. Honestly, I'm debating whether it would've been better off for me to die alone in that forest. At least if I bled out I wouldn't have suffered anymore. Now I'm just an empty shell with nothing to show for it."

"Husker, it wouldn't have been better if you died. I may not know what you're feeling exactly, but I was once trapped too. I was inside that crystal for so long, it was horrible. I could see things happening, though it was meshed up and distorted. I couldn't speak, I couldn't move, I may as well have been dead at that point."

"Did you wish you could die?"

"I certainly did. At least until I was freed…."

"Lucky, your suffering ended, mine is stuck with me…"

"My physical suffering may have ended, but mentally, I was put to the test. Vol wasn't exactly all too happy around me and Vox...well, we know how Vox was. I swear, it felt like I was stuck trying to maintain order with two opposing forces. It's only after Vox got his memories back that things truly improved for us. It was like life was throwing every problem at us and only after things passed did we get something that even resembled a 'happy' ending'."

"You got more patience than me, I would've fucking gave up trying to deal with that shit…"

"Trust me, I wanted nothing more than to rip my hair out several times. Only good thing is things have finally worked out for us and I don't believe we'll be dealing with anymore physical threats anymore."

"So how's everyone taking it?"

"Err" Al grumbled,"Vol is...upset. He's kind of shutting himself out, only difference is it's not as bad as it was before. He's at least functioning and allowing Velvet to be near him so it's an improvement. I'm not certain what the other two are doing but I'm certain they've found something to distract themselves with at this time of day…"

"What about you? What are you doing around here?"

"I came to check on you. You seemed rather upset when the truth came out. I've never seen you get that angry before. Had I not known any better I'd assume you were going to attack her."

"I was," He retorted,"If she hadn't ran off I probably would've tried to maul her. That bitch's lie ended up costing me my limbs! I lost my fucking limbs over a petty lie!"

"I see…" He admitted,"I can't say I blame you on that note. I'd probably be bitter as well if I lost my limbs for something that small. In the very least, the only good thing that came out of this is me and Vox's freedom. May not have been intentional on her part but at least that event laid the groundwork to our escape.."

"It may have been worth it for you, but not all of us got so lucky getting a happy ending. Some of us lost loved ones and we don't even have anything left to remember them by..And honestly, they're the lucky ones, because there are so many days where I wish I just died that day, especially because every time I look at your face, I see what I lost..."

There was a large moment of silence, Al attempted to reach out before ultimately withdrawing,"Husker I-"

"Don't. I get you're trying to comfort me, but it ain't necessary. I don't need pity, I need a drink that could knock me out…"

"You'll never find it…"

"I know, but that doesn't mean I can't keep wishing…"

Suddenly, Angel Dust came out from the hallway,"Hey you two, what's shaking?"

"Oh you know, talking about how our lives fucking suck, whats it to you?" Husk replied gruffly

Angel rubbed the back of his head,"Well I kind of heard a bit of what ya said and I just wanted to say...I'm sorry Cherri fucked up. It ain't usually in her nature to lie like this. But I know she didn't mind for it to go this far…"

"Doesn't matter. Sorry doesn't make the crime go away!" He hissed,"Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you trying to defend her after that shit? This entire situation is her and Valentino's fault! If she just got over herself none of this would've happened."

"I ain't defending her, I'm just saying I know she didn't intend for it to go this far. I know Cherri well enough to know she lets things get way in over her head. She's always done reckless shit but this was new territory. Nothing ever got this bad and the consequences were never this serious. Before it was all fun and games but now...it just got outta hand."

"Out of hand is putting it mildly, she started an entire conflict that pitted us against the Devil over a petty grudge!" Husk proclaimed,"This isn't something you can sweep under the rug, Angel! Just because she's your friend doesn't mean her actions should be ignored! She got the other Vox and Al killed for fuck's sake!"

"I know! I know there ain't any defending her but I just want ya to know that I doubt anyone knew it would end this way. Not even Lucifer thought it would get this bad and now we're just left picking up the pieces."

"So what? Would things have even gone this far if she just kept her mouth shut? When you tell the King of Hell ,who's probably had people trying to take his throne for centuries that this newfound fusion creature who wrecked your shit could take his throne, what do you fucking expect his reaction to be? Especially when he has the moth fucker telling him another one sided story to sell the point? If it was only Val, Lucifer probably wouldn't have taken his word for it but since there were multiple accounts that sounded legit, he thought that Volastor was a genuine threat! We wouldn't be in this clusterfuck if she shut the fuck up!"

"I know, but what good does it do now? The time has already passed and there ain't nothing we can do anymore other than try to move on."

"Easy to move on when you still got all your limbs on you," Husk scowled,"You're the lucky one, Angel. You're still 'normal'. After all, you can still go out and smoke, you can sleep, you can eat and enjoy your food! Everyone except ME can do that, because my body has been altered to the point I can't even taste anything! It's like I'm empty inside and it hurts knowing everyone can enjoy life while you're physically unable to anymore. If it weren't for that damn lie I'd still have my limbs on me. None of you know what it's like to wake up like this, every time you look in the mirror you just see the empty husk that remains. I'm hardly a person, just an empty shell that's forced to hang on against its will…"

Angel and Alastor averted their gaze, uncertain what to tell him. Husk wasn't exactly wrong and he had every right to be angry. It wasn't like they could tell him otherwise either.

Just then, Angel felt something ringing in his phone,"Hm?"

"Who is it?"

"It's...Cherri…"

"Aw fucking hell, ignore her," Husk growled.

"I can't ignore her. I at least gotta see what her message is…" He then read the text before raising an eyebrow,"Turn on the TV? Wonder what that means...Hey Al, can ya get Vox? He's still got a TV head so maybe we can watch him to see what's up?"

"I don't see why not," Al then shouted,"VOX! CAN YOU COME HERE REAL QUICK?"

Vox suddenly came rushing over,"What's the rush Al?"

"Cherri sent Angel a message, claiming that there's something going on TV that we need to watch. Mind being a dear and showing us?"

Vox rolled his eyes,"Figures you'd do this…" He then took a second to project his screen, now showing a view from Heaven. Everyone watched as they saw a large white mansion. In view, they saw Micheal was standing there with a far too happy look on his face.

"Greetings everyone! It is it, Saint Micheal and I'm here with a VERY special announcement! You see, due to some controversial events I'd rather not get into, my brother has decided to return to Heaven under the condition I allow Princess Charlie's project to succeed! As agreed, the happy hotel has clearance for those to be 'redeemed' as they say and in return, Samuel gets to rule alongside me in Heaven for the rest of eternity!"

The camera then panned to Lucifer, or rather Samuel as he was called. His gaze didn't meet the camera, merely holding Micheal's hand half-heartedly. Remaining silent, he merely gave Micheal a look as he continued his speech.

"From here, a new era shall start where we will rule together! A new reign for property has arisen and we will achieve together, brother! Am I right?"

Samuel weakly nodded, eyes lowered in sombre acceptance at what was to come….

Vox's screen then reverted back to normal, everyone staring at each other in disbelief.

"Oh...oh shit…" Angel heaved,"He...he actually went back to Heaven. And now Charlie's thing is legit thanks to him going back…"

"Holy fuck," Husk cursed,"This..this can't be real…"

"It is," Vox said,"And it looks like someone got real desperate if he was willing to throw his title away just like that. Can't say I saw that coming…"

"So what now? Charlie's project works but what about the throne? No doubt people are going to try and take over now that Samuel's not around to guard it…"

"I wouldn't worry about that, Al," The TV chuckled,"Anyone who wants the throne has to get through Lilith and Charlie. And I say good luck to the poor sap who wants to try taking them on headfirst. Lilith may be weaker than Lucifer but she's still the Queen of Hell, she's not going to stand there and let someone take her power without a fight. If someone's still dumb enough to try taking the throne from them I say we leave the idiot to their fate. They won't last long anyway if they're that suicidal."

"Should we tell the others the big news?"

"Not now," Angel yawned,"It's fucking late as hell. We should save this shit for the morning. Everyone is tired as fuck and we'll be able to deal with the clusterfuck tomorrow when we're fully energized."

"Fair enough," Alastor shrugged before noticing Husk didn't move,"Husker, aren't you going to go to sleep?"

"Does it look like I need sleep to you?"

"Oh right, nevermind. I forgot about your...condition. Still, even if you don't need it, perhaps some sleep would bring you some much needed peace."

Husk rolled his eyes,"Whatever, Al. I don't need you to be my nanny dammit. I'm older than your ass by a good forty years, quit babying me."

"I'm not babying you, I'm just looking after your well-being."

"Give it a rest Al," Vox said,"He's already in a bad mood. Leave the cat be, he's suffered enough already and I think our best choice of action is to leave him alone…"

"Oh...I see…" Al lowered his gaze,"Alright then. Have it your way. We'll be leaving Husker. Goodnight…"

"Hmph...night…"

Everyone quickly began taking their leave, Husk slumping over the bar's front desk as they all turned their backs.'Guess it's just me again…' He was tempted to reach for the bottle again but found himself unable to do so. He didn't know what came over him, but something just told him to not bother anymore.

After all, what was the point? He couldn't taste it anyway and the effects were nonexistent. No point in indulging in something you can't even feel the effects of…

"Fuck…" He groaned,"Whatever, I'm too emotionally drained for this shit...Maybe if I shut myself down I can forget I exist until the morning.." He then laid against the desk, the power source on his chest dimming as he shut his body down in order to mimic the feeling of 'sleep'.

Alastor sighed,"Vox, I just wished I could've helped him more…"

"There's nothing you can really do for him, Al. I doubt Husk was all that mentally well when you met him but now he's a lot more fractured. You can't fix someone like that, especially if they don't want help. Besides, he's not even your Husk…"

"I know, but that doesn't mean I can't care. I just wish I could do more for him…"

"I don't think you can, Al. You did all you could but Husk's issues aren't something you can saddle onto yourself. The man has decades worth of problems that you probably aren't even aware of. It's better to just leave him be…"

The former Radio host averted his gaze,"I know you're right...but I just don't feel right leaving him like that."

"It's for the best…" Vox said as they walked down the hallway,"Hey Al…"

"Yes?"

"Do you want to go check on Vol? Just to make sure he's alright? Husk isn't the only one taking things badly and I want to be sure he isn't breaking down in there…"

"I don't see why not. It'd be irresponsible to not see how he's doing…"

They both headed towards Vol's room before gently peeking through the door. Through the darkness, they could just make out Vol and Velvet were sleeping in the same bed together.

Al smiled,"Aw…Isn't that adorable?"

"Yeah…it really is…"

"It appears Velvet has this covered. Perhaps we should leave…"

Vox was prepared to agree, at least until he heard Vol say something that they couldn't make out..

"Huh? Is he waking up?"

"No…" Al whispered,"He's talking in his sleep. It's not uncommon but it's rare to witness it in action.."

Vox then started getting closer, Alastor immediately becoming on guard,"Vox, get back here!"

Ignoring him, he chose to approach, now getting a clearer idea of what Vol was saying, now noticing he was twisting and turning in his sleep.

Vox nearly jumped out of his skin when Vol started panicking"W-Wait! Please stop! Don't leave me! Not again! Please I'll do anything, don't take them from me, they're all I have! I'll die without them!"

Vox's mind started racing, he had no idea what was going on in Vol's head it sounded like he was trapped in some fucked up nightmare. Alastor had since rushed over at this and tensed,"Oh god, what's happening!?"

"I don't know! I think he's having a nightmare or something!"

"Well don't just stand there, wake him up!" Al growled.

"Fine!" Vox immediately started shaking Vol. It may not have been the best decision but he had utterly panicked at that point, more focused on waking Vol up if anything."Vol? Vol? Are you there? Wake up!"

Vol's eyes snapped open, panting heavily as he looked around,"H-Huh? What happened to me? What's going on?" He then turned and saw them, utter relief flooding his eyes,"Dad! Is that really you?"

"Of course it's us! Who else could it be?" The TV then paused when he saw Vol was shaking somewhat, looking genuinely terrified,"Uh kid? Are you ok? You look scared to death. What's wrong?"

"It...it was nothing…" He lied.

"Nothing my foot," Al retorted,"You were mumbling stuff in your sleep. What was that about? You have to tell us, Vol. There's no need to hide this information from us, we're not going to judge you…"

"But really, it's nothing and-"

"Vol, be honest with us. We're not going to make fun of you if you tell the truth…"

"Fine," He sighed in defeat, rolling his eyes,"You see, I was...having a bit of a nightmare."

"That was fairly obvious, mind explaining what it was about?"

Vol made a face,"It...it was silly. I thought someone had taken you two and no matter how hard I tried, something just prevented me from being able to rescue you. I thought you two were going to be taken from me and I'd be utterly helpless to stop it.I could hear them hurting you...you were calling out for help and I couldn't do anything. I thought I was going to lose everything all over again…"

"Aw Vol, there's no need to be like that," Al cupped his cheeks,"Vox and I aren't going anywhere. Nobody is going to take us from you. There's no need to be afraid, none of what you saw in your head was real."

"But it felt so real…"

"But it isn't," Vox said,"I don't know where the nightmares are coming from, but I'm going to blunt here Vol, no boogeyman is taking us from you. We're gonna stay by your side no matter what, I don't care who stands in my way, even if it's God himself. Understand?"

"Mhm…"

"Good, now go back to bed and get some rest. There's no need to worry yourself. It's time to get some shut-eye…" Al then prepared to leave only to gasp in surprise when Vol grabbed both of their wrists,"Vol?"

"Please stay. I don't want you to go yet…"

Vox and Al sent each other looks, even if they wanted to reject him. Vol was giving those eyes your child would give you if you didn't tuck them into bed at night and read their favorite story. The only difference was this look was being given by someone who was physically thirty years old and not a five year old.

Still it was just as effective and it'd be rather cruel to reject Vol after he just complained about having nightmares about them being separated from him.

"Alright fine, kid. Have it your way. Come on Al, let's hop in…"

"Fine…"

They both crawled into bed with Volastor, the fusion clinging to them tightly. Al and Vox both ruffled Vol's hair as he laid against their chest peacefully,"Night Vol…"

"Love you two, Dads...You two mean so much to me which is why…" He then grinned deviously, eyes glowing,"If anyone dares try taking you away from me…. I'll make them pay dearly. I don't care who they are, I won't tolerate you being taken from me, understand?"

"Y-Yeah…" Vox said, doing his best not to sound nervous. It was times like this that made him remember that no matter how 'cute' Vol acted, he was still a powerful demon that was capable of tangling with full blooded angels and it didn't sound like he was bluffing…

Al chuckled,"Guess He really is like us isn't he?"

"Definitely…"

They then went to sleep, calling it quits for the night. They weren't certain if Vol was in his right mind when he said these things, but they decided to roll with it in hopes that if he didn't, they could enjoy the moment while it lasted before Vol inevitably reverted to his cold exterior once again.

Thanks for 13,882 views, tell me what you think below!

Enigmus-288: Lucifer probably would've at least questioned it if he wasn't constantly hearing about how Vol was dangerous. If only Val said it, he probably would've questioned it since he knows how Val is to an extent. Seriously, if they legit told the truth Lucifer would've realized Vol doesn't attack people without reason and talked to him normally and backed off once he saw Vol wasn't interested in power. While Cherri did help, they're still rather upset, especially in the case of Husk who legit lost limbs over a literal petty conflict that escalated out of control and Vol because his first parental figures died for over territory. She got off pretty light if you compare her treatment to Lucifer's but still, everyone's rather disappointed in her. With Val, everyone kind of expects him to lie because unless telling the truth benefits him, Val will probably lie to make himself look credible and everyone expected better out of Cherri.

Guest: Yeah they're going to deal with the Imp situation and the Asmodeous one. It's more so because it's inconveniencing everyone at this point and Lucifer's problems bave become the other angel's problems since I imagine a good portion of the people Imp end up killing in their stunts are good enough to go to Heaven so those people will end up traumatized at the golden gates and Gabriel's stuck trying to make places for them to get mentally healed.

And yeah, sure Imp could probably just kill others in Hell but they sold their premise off of killing the people on Earth who the denizens of Hell felt they got screwed over by so I imagine changing what your selling would damage the brand. That and I imagine most denizens of Hell would be like 'why pay a bunch of imps to kill someone when I can do it myself for free?'

Mitsuru6: I'm using them because we know so little about Heaven. The only people we know about are literal Cherubs that got kicked out by the end of the episode. They aren't major or anything, I'm just using them to set the point across.
